Elizabeth Collins5 said:Everything according to the rules...🤣

Noticed.🤣

So, what's this about you calling me out in public like that...?

Haha. My bad... 😂 It’s cute how you’re still being all careful with your nosebleed—meanwhile, I’ve already wiped mine out and poked around in there myself... 😬
Elizabeth Collins5 said:And how long have you actually been sleeping on your back? Honestly, I got bored of it—my head starts feeling numb just from staying in the same position for too long...

OMG, you’re still sleeping on your back!? Have you even touched your own nose yet?😁 You’re being paranoid—even more than I am. 🤣 😬 😉 I finally started sleeping normally once I got home. I tried the whole back-sleeping thing for a few days, but all I got was muscle soreness and a stiff neck, so I just went back to my old ways...
Sophia Hill22 said:I honestly love eating and just enjoying scents in general—it's what I miss most right now.😢

I didn't eat anything for the first five days—well, I ate enough to stay alive, but nothing actually had any taste or smell. It’s been about a month now...
I feel like my sense of smell has just completely tanked lately. There are things I know should be hitting me with a strong scent, but honestly, I’m picking up absolutely nothing. 🤔
rustygardener172 said:So when am I gonna see yours? 😢 shoot me a DM

Not my thing. 😢
rustygardener172 said:Are you kidding me?! I haven't had even one... 😁 So, were you actually going to ask him? Did he even show her any of mine? He’s obsessed with my nose... 👍

Whatever. I wasn't really asking specifically—can't remember if he showed yours too, but I know he showed mine... 🤦

In person...
rustygardener172 said:exactly like Glushac does too...

Actually, Glushac definitely shows photos. 😬
rustygardener172 said:You look straight ahead and you can see those triangular nasal supports... wtf?!...

As for that model with the "unusual" nose... I seriously doubt she got that look from just one single surgery. It looks exactly like that typical nose you end up with after several reduction procedures—you know, when it’s never quite small enough...

You'll figure out the details once you actually sit down for a consultation with a high-quality surgeon—someone who’s going to give it to you straight about what's actually possible for your nose. All you can really do is tell them your goals—whether you want it smaller or larger, narrower or wider, shorter or longer, or if you just want that hump removed so you can breathe better... after that, you just have to cross your fingers and hope you're in the hands of a great surgeon who knows how to make it work with your specific nose and face shape.

Signing on again. Honestly, I’m not feeling any of the noses that have been posted here—they all look way too small and just... plastic. I never see those kinds of flattened, pinched-looking noses on people in real life... 😕 Even after surgery, my nose is probably three times bigger than anyone else's on this forum—honestly, I can't even imagine walking around with one of those tiny "kitten" noses everyone else seems to have... 😱 It looks like rustygardener172 and I are in the minority when it comes to taste, I guess...🤷

It’s pretty obvious that African American noses are the trend right now—I feel like I've spotted quite a few celebrities with that look lately...

Total fail. 😢

rustygardener172 said:But look—in the first photo she’s wearing zero makeup, just a natural shot from a distance... then in the second one, she’s practically caked in foundation and the camera is right in her face... I’d love to see that nose under the same lighting as the old one... it looks way too small now... where did her nostrils go? There are holes at the bottom, but how does air even get to the tip? It looks a bit "flat"... almost like someone hit her in the face with a frying pan...

Totally agree. Just flat. 🤣

Personally, after anesthesia, I didn't throw up or anything. I just felt freezing and was shaking like a leaf... 😬
Olivia Kelly8 said:Thanks. stormyharbor2I'm picking up some ephedrine drops first thing tomorrow morning—honestly, I'm a little worried about wrecking my nasal lining, but what can you do? I just need to get through this... I'm completely on edge from not being able to breathe properly. 😠😢

You won't—just take some breaks...

ps. that picture you posted a couple of pages back... 😍 Did you have major issues with breathing, or was it mostly just because of the asthma? And how much did everything end up costing you—not just the procedure itself, but stuff like the hotel and everything else during those days...

This is the second time someone has swapped me out for someone else and commented on "my" photos. What photo are they even talking about? I haven't posted a single picture of myself anywhere on this forum... 🤷
Olivia Kelly8 said:Hey ladies, quick question for anyone who’s had surgery due to breathing issues. It’s been miserable for me—I just can't breathe properly through the left side, which is giving me constant headaches and all that... but I honestly can't swing the time or money for some kind of surgery and recovery right now. What did you guys do to help with the breathing? Any suggestions for specific drops or anything else that actually works? 🤷

Try Ephedrine drops—and personally, I swear by Olynth nasal spray, even though that’s not really what it’s intended for. Using it makes me feel way more clear than the drops do, plus it actually feels like it moisturizes and refreshes the inside of my nose...
I’ve heard nothing but bad things about absolutely every surgeon in this country. You know the drill—they act all high and mighty, look a certain way, talk a certain way, blah blah blah... I won't even get into it. If you care more about having some stiff, uptight surgeon who has a broomstick shoved up their ass, then maybe don't bother seeing Glushac, because he is the complete opposite of that. ☕
wearyotter112 said:Dr. Glushac lives near me, but I haven't heard anything good about him from anyone, so I'm a bit nervous...

Mind sharing what you heard? Just curious...😁
Sophia Hill22 said:it’s true, they actually do grow 🙂

http://bodyodd.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2...-grow-with-age

The good news: No, our noses don't grow longer. The bad news: Our noses DROOP.

🤷
rustygardener172 said:As far as I know, your nose and ears just keep growing for your entire life... 🙂

Where did you even get that from? Honestly, my guess is it’s just what happens when you age—you start to sag, everything loses its shape, and suddenly your nose looks more prominent and out of place than it used to...
Rebecca Gomez37 said:you’re going to end up with so much gunk later on, it just leaks for days along with bruising, you'll have piles of tampons, mountains of gauze...plus the risk of infection is huge just drink some heavy-duty antibiotics , and use Tylenol or Neosporin.
Your nose is gonna end up looking like two African American noses from all those tampons

That was my experience too, even without polyps. 🤣
James Edwards said:it feels like you're pulling out chunks of your own brain

Honestly, that’s exactly what I said too. xD I actually had to shove my hand in both times just to speed things up. 😂 Not doing that again, though—no thanks... 🙂>
Betty Gonzalez41 said:How long did it take before you guys started seeing stitches coming out?

For me, one stitch popped out after about 13 days—but honestly, that was probably just from me constantly picking at it and cleaning everything... rustygardener172 still has hers, even though she had her surgery ages ago...

James Edwards said:The absolute worst part was getting those tampons removed—it caught me totally off guard.😁

Did your ears hurt after they took them out too? I haven't seen anyone mention that yet... for me, it felt like someone was suddenly unclogging my ears. Just... ugh. Such a gross sensation. I wouldn't go through this whole surgery again just to deal with that removal process. It was nasty.

@Megan Moore76, check your DMs!
Nancy Perez74 said:I’m just disappointed—that’s all I’m saying. I was loud and clear about wanting a small, upturned nose, but apparently, I didn't get lucky.

Look, I don't mean to upset you, but not everyone can walk away with a tiny, perky nose—you have to be realistic. 🤷Maybe it just wasn't physically possible in your case, or maybe he went with something he thought would actually suit you. Either way, he should have at least smoothed out that bump... that shouldn't have been an impossible request.
