Everywhere I look online, people are telling me I need open rhinoplasty because my nose sticks out way too much from my face—it’s super overprojected. Honestly, I don't know what to believe... from what I've gathered, most people here actually get the closed technique done.

Michael Davis21, I’ve got a decent amount of faith in Glušac too—hopefully that doesn't change anytime soon—I really think he could handle this without any issues. 🙂 My deviation is pretty bad, actually; the doctor mentioned I should've come in sooner because even if I didn't care about the aesthetics, I'd still need surgery just to breathe properly. Plus, I wake up every single morning with all this congestion in my throat that just won't clear through my nose. 👎

I had braces—not even for the looks, honestly, but because of actual health issues—like a messed up bite and those constant, nagging jaw joint pains. Here’s the thing: every time they move a tooth or shift your jaw, it changes the entire alignment of your facial bones, your joints, your lips, and even your nose. Until you're totally done with orthodontic treatment, you really shouldn't make any big moves... at least not for another year or so. You have to wait for your face to actually settle into its new position, because until then, your bite, your jawline, your lips, and even your nose are all still shifting around...
That goes for both the cell phone and the landline...

Glušac told me that doesn't even matter... 🤔

Just give him a few days, the guy is busy. If it were me, I would've replied within two days, and that goes for the other women I've talked to, too. Either way, I'm looking at this from a functional standpoint, not an aesthetic one either.

Adam Smith77 (and rustygardener172, obviously)—everyone has their own thing, beautiful noses for different faces. 🙂But I really loved the look of rustygardener172's nose when she sent me those second round photos, even if that specific style wouldn't suit me. 😢

I'm guessing my surgeon from that boutique clinic wouldn't be the right fit for me, since I'm looking to shrink my nose by half, maybe even two-thirds...

Obviously. 🙂 I already pointed out here that I don't want some tiny, fake, Barbie-style nose sitting on my face—it's too big for that—but now everyone thinks I'm aiming for a massive nose post-op. 🤣 Honestly... just going from one extreme to the other. To me, noses like Kim Kardashian's or Britney Spears' aren't even "good" examples, but hey, to each their own. 🤷

Look, my whole goal here is to get this done so I can finally stop obsessing over my nose... I'm not looking to spend every single day after the procedure checking to see if it's somehow grown back. ☕
