Technically you can, but there's no guarantee they'll accept it if it's just sitting in a box
It's better to use a bubble mailer

Could you send me a link to that page where you calculate shipping costs?
Thanks for the help 🙂🙏

Here you go. Just click whatever you need.

It depends on the size; 2-$1.00 is what that envelope
weighs. You drop it off at the post office and decide between standard or certified mail. Certified is $2.25 more expensive. Just check the USPS website for the rates, but you'll need to weigh the package since pricing is based on weight.

My congratulations, I am truly happy for you.
Do you have a job lined up here in the Midwest yet?

It’s a total wash at home... honestly, there isn't much you can do when nothing was recommended. Just accept that you lost the cash or the package.
A few bucks
I don't think it's feasible, especially since you'll end up paying shipping both ways.
The post office doesn't handle any packaging; you have to do everything yourself.
Wrap it up in plenty of bubble wrap and put it in a box.
Under the new regulations, every package is insured at $33, so you don't need to
Put it in a bag, place it in a box, wrap it up, and ship it as a package, $6.00
When an item is classified as print media, it needs to be in a clear plastic sleeve—just like how magazines arrive at your house. You can't send clothing that way.
You could tuck a T-shirt into a padded envelope and mail it like a letter, but it’s risky. If it gets lost, there's no accountability.
For light items, it's best to use a padded envelope and send it via certified mail. Print out the rates on the USPS website first to see what it will cost you.
Heavier items belong in a box sent as a package with pickup at the post office. That's how you handle the payment $6.00. For anything under 2 kg, you can get insurance for up to $33
. If the value is around $100, you should declare that amount, though it will increase the price immediately.
You can't charge $1.75 yet. They mentioned that home delivery is an extra fee $0.67 and it's only available in certain areas; you can find the list of those locations on the USPS website
FedEx is even more expensive
I almost always reuse the envelope my items arrive in by just taping a piece of white paper over the old label and sending it on my way. Honestly, I don't care; it saves me a few bucks here and there.
We’ll probably stick to certified mail more often, though it isn't worth it for high-value items since you only get five times the postage back if it goes missing. Plus, $33only counts it as a package, and if the item is actually worth more, you have to declare a higher value, which drives the shipping cost up immediately.
They saw how many packages we were moving and hiked their rates. They're a bunch of crooks; they'll never have enough money.
I don't think you have to pay those extra $1.75
anymore. Basically, you just pay the $6.00 shipping fee, wait for the receipt, and then pick it up yourself at the USPS.
The lady at the USPS office mentioned that everyone can skip the delivery fee from $6.00 if they just pick up their package at the station themselves. For those who prefer home delivery, there will be a charge of $6.75, provided local delivery service is available in their area
A single shirt fits right in a standard envelope, and sending it via USPS Certified Mail shouldn't cost more than $12$4.25. If there's more stuff involved, we'll have to ship it as a package. Sellers will need to drop their prices slightly or split the shipping costs fifty-fifty with the buyer.
With certified mail, you don't list the value on the document—it stays on the package itself. It's usually smarter to ship things as standard parcels, but since parcel rates are going up, we'll stick to certified mail for lighter items. For anything heavy, shipping as a package is still the better way to go.
Fantastic!!!
Postal rates are going up—shipping packages under 2 kg will be the cheapest option $6.00 if you pick them up at the USPS office, whereas $6.75 home delivery
costs more. I have a feeling this parts trading thread is going to die out slowly; it’s just getting too expensive.
