If the law actually let me, I’d have gone through with a sterilization long ago. But obviously, that's not an option since the rules say I need to already have two kids and a husband😕 who has to sign off on everything too.🤮
Of course it’s possible for your perspective to shift as you move through life. Choosing not to have children isn't some binding legal contract or a sacred vow; nobody standing here today claiming they don't want kids can predict with absolute certainty how they'll feel in ten, fifteen, or twenty years.
That's actually why so many people don't take women who say they don't want kids entirely at face value—and in a way, they aren't wrong, provided the woman hasn't reached the end of her reproductive years.
Furthermore, it doesn't mean those individuals wouldn't make wonderful parents if they ever did change their minds.
Who knows? Maybe in five or ten years, some of the people posting here will find themselves browsing forums for pregnant women or checking out Rid.🤷
🙄🙄🙄 People like this are exactly why I can't stand being around anyone anymore. It’s honestly nauseating.🤮 What exactly is that supposed to mean? Seriously? It feels like everyone is just sitting around waiting for me to hit menopause so they can finally realize that I REALLY don't want kids! Honestly, I’m actually disgusted by how petty you're being. I truly feel sorry for people like you. You're just obsessed with sticking your nose into everyone else's business and judging their lives.👎
Honestly, why would I even bother wasting my breath trying to explain myself to people who are clearly too unrefined to get it? They think I can't have kids, when the reality is I just don't want them. I really don't need more unsolicited pity from people acting like I’m some tragic figure just because I'm making a choice they can't wrap their heads around. No thanks.☕ The parents in my circle have basically already distanced themselves from me anyway. Apparently, my lack of "maternal instinct" is somehow an insult to their entire lifestyle, which is honestly just nonsensical. But whatever...☕

You're looking at endless training sessions, managing their diet, and basically being a full-time caregiver. For me, it's just too much.😁
One dog feels like you've only added half a child to the household, but try bringing home three, and suddenly it’s like you’re raising a toddler and a half. 😬 Same here.
I have two dogs, which according to this logic means I already have a kid😁 so if anyone wants to try and lecture me about children, they can come talk to me.🤣

I don't even love people enough to have kids, and let's be real, I'd be a terrible mother anyway—so why bother jumping into that mess? Luckily, my partner is totally on the same page. We've both decided it's just gonna be us and our cats—and we love those cats, bordering on obsession at this point. 😍 It’s actually a relief to see other people feel the same way. There were times I genuinely thought something was wrong with me, like I was some kind of freak... Mostly because people have literally attacked and insulted me more than once just for making this choice. People are so weird.
I totally agree with the bolded part, though with one little tweak... we're going to have a whole pack of dogs.😁
Whether they get it or not... honestly, I couldn't care less☕ I’m not out here forcing anyone to understand why having two dogs jumping all over my bed is perfectly normal for me... nor am I interrogating them about why they choose to live differently☕

I mean, come on. I guess the moderators here just think we're all mentally unstable or something.🤷

Everyone follows some arbitrary "tradition" just because they think it’s the only "right" way to live, or because it feels "NORMAL" to them... Just don't bother trying to argue with them. Why bother? You'll only end up shattering their little bubble and ruining their illusions.
Trust me, there are tons of people just like us. It's just that most of them can't be bothered to explain themselves to everyone else—it's just not their style. When I told a few people that I didn't want to have kids, it was funny how many of them suddenly opened up and admitted they felt the exact same way. I guess everyone thinks they're the odd one out until they actually take a look around.
I’m 28 years old and I’ve just never had any desire to have kids. Honestly, I’m completely indifferent to the whole idea🤷 I don't see myself ever becoming a parent☕

I realized a little too late that when someone is acting all high and mighty, their eyes don't widen in the dark like everyone else's—they stay small and pathetic.🙄 Now I know what to look for next time if I run into someone like that. Straight into the dark.😂
I’ve always had this weird knack for attracting absolute morons.🤷 Honestly, I still can't wrap my head around why, because I genuinely consider myself a pretty sane person. Then again, maybe I'm just delusional and telling myself that.😁
I actually ended things with him four years ago. It wasn't even about the drugs—by the time I found out about that (of course, I was the last one to know 🙄), I’d already been thinking about walking away for months. That just sped up the inevitable. Honestly, even now, I still can't wrap my head around what drew me to that guy in the first place.
jadedrifter19 said:Maybe I was wrong, Jonathan Morales2, but this is how my head is working right now. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll see things differently, so I’d rather just own my current perspective. You don't realize your boyfriend is an addict just by hearing rumors. You tell yourself, "No, that can't be true." Then, bit by bit, you realize there's actual truth in those stories. You try to sit him down for a real conversation, and he just dodges it—"I'm not an addict, what are you talking about?" He could have stopped if he actually wanted to. Instead, he went deeper, straight to rock bottom. He had everything going for him—supportive parents, a house, a car, a solid career. Most people would kill for half of what he had, but for him, none of it was ever enough.
Exactly.🙏 I don't even need to say anything else; you basically just summarized my entire life story.🙏
At the end of the day, you can't force someone to realize they've screwed up. They have to hit that wall and figure it out on their own. No matter how much you try to hammer it into their head, it just doesn't stick unless they experience the fallout themselves. Only then might something actually change.
Look, as someone who used to date an addict, my best advice to any girl getting tangled up in those kinds of relationships is simple: run for the hills as fast as you can.👎😳 I went through three years of absolute hell. We broke up four years ago, and honestly? Not a single thing about him has changed since the day we split.
I hope you learned something from this experience and actually took a lesson away from it. Now you know better than to mess around while you're behind the wheel. Don't go crying over a dented fender too much.😉
