I have a quick question: A payment was made to an individual's account at Wells Fargo, but since the IBAN used was just the generic one for Wells Fargo, the funds were likely routed to the specific user based on the payment details. The amount was sent WITHOUT being WRITTEN in with a specific reference number, even though the recipient had requested it that way. Now that it turns out the recipient was actually a scammer, is there any way to request a refund? It seems like Wells Fargo simply forwarded the money to their account based solely on the "memo" field (name, surname, and address) rather than requiring a valid reference number...
Greetings, I am seeking some guidance regarding a martial art for an eleven-year-old boy who spent several years in competitive swimming, though he has recently grown quite tired of the pool... He seems much more interested in striking, kicking, and high-impact movement. I took him to a Judo session where he watched and participated, but his verdict was that it was the most tedious thing he had ever witnessed.
So, what would you suggest that might actually capture the interest of a kid like this—or, as he puts it, something that would allow him to defend himself on the street and perhaps land a solid strike if someone attacks him...

What is the status regarding that extra (or perhaps third) day at the Ultra Music Festival? Apparently, a decision was supposed to be reached this Monday concerning whether the city council would approve the additional funding required... and word is, that entire extra day hinges on that single outcome.
Monday has come and gone, yet we remain completely in the dark...

If this actually happened, it certainly isn't a first. Back in 2003, Jello Biafra had a spoken word set scheduled at The Fillmore, only for his agency to book a Jellov performance in New York City on that exact same date without ever notifying the venue...

Either there's no more budget left to sign new acts, or there just aren't any new bands worth announcing... either way, it's all the same to me.

As for Tud, I honestly can't say; those vocals just don't do it for me. They sound like one out of a thousand indistinguishable indie bands. Unfortunately, since the indie scene is so massive and widespread these days, there are very few groups left that actually possess a recognizable and truly original sound... 😢
