It isn't indie, but it's definitely the biggest load of crap out there. 🤷
frozenbison3 said:It seems like they’ve really carved out a niche for themselves with all these various headliners. Coincidence? I highly doubt it...

I wouldn't go that far. Is there any hope for seeing Motörhead this summer?

And I even heard rumors that the Rattleheads might actually reunite for this one! 😁

Have the tickets finally hit the retail outlets?
Gregory Harris8 said:While I still think FF gave the absolute best performance at the festival two years ago, if I actually had to choose between them and a massive, equally legendary band that hasn't played in the States yet, I’d pick the newcomer every single time. And honestly, there are plenty of incredible acts that haven't made it out to our shores just yet...

Well, you can consider yourself satisfied then. That leaves two bands left that haven't toured here yet.

WE can safely disregard this thread for the next six years (which is basically forever, given how close we are to the end of days)... 😁

I find "Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Live Forever" to be superior.
Yasmin The Light and The Moon is Down are true anthems, and honestly, everything from Explosions in the Sky after that point just doesn't quite measure up...
silentdriver12 said:claiming they’ll list five performers just doesn't seem right.
do you guys honestly think they read all of that?
besides, my inside sources tell me they already have the lineup set and were just told to push ticket sales because the show will be great😁
and that there might be some hype building for Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2009

Hype for 2009?

Lily Allen?
NERD?
Anthrax?

restlessranger30 said:...that's why they'll never play a post-rock band on our local stations. It just isn't the kind of music that appeals to everyone...

On college radio, post-rock is played almost every single day!
Please, let's try not to be so exclusive...

June
22 - 23, 2011 Unconfirmed

That's just some tourist website... there hasn't been any official word on this yet...

Where there's smoke, there's fire! Besides, it happened last year too, so it's highly likely...
They are saying it will be held on June 22nd and 23rd, 2011.
There will be six stages in total.

I’m betting on total chaos, just like at a Metallica show! 🙂
goldenlynx30 said:Electronic music is just incredible, honestly one of my absolute favorite genres, and they always play killer sets while running that amazing Innervisions label with such a top-tier sound...

I couldn't find a specific mix for L-Visa, but here is their MySpace page so you can check it out and hunt for a mix yourself; there is some really fresh stuff on there, a great variety of tracks, and it's all perfect for having a good time and dancing.

I simply hope they play something different and move away from those repetitive stages, because I would truly prefer not to have to listen to their spinning records playing right alongside the mainstream concerts.

BO has a wonderful little album, though I suspect they aren't quite the type of act you'd expect to see at a massive festival... we shall see...
Justin Wells3 said:Roger Newman50, please don't mess with us. If you're only basing that on the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup and the fact that they happen to be free that day with a break before their show in Atlanta... then that isn't exactly groundbreaking news... if you actually have some kind of inside scoop, just keep it to yourself and we will wait for official confirmation...

Fine, I shall remain silent then! 🤣
Mastodon is coming. And since they’re hitting the road this fall with Alice in Chains and Deftones, I can't help but feel like something isn't quite right regarding the Deftones set...
Mastodon
goldenlynx30 said:It isn't insider info, nor has it been officially announced yet, but I managed to dig it up somehow; I'm certain about it, and it looks like it'll be an absolute blast after the shows.

Roger Newman50, if you know how to navigate a forum, you certainly know how to use Google...

I was being honest... whenever I search for Adele, all I see is mindless pop fluff. And music that sounds just like that. Totally superficial. ☕

Where on earth is America coming from...

What kind of band could possibly be America?
Why on earth would they bother announcing someone separately when we’ve already seen them perform as part of the Massive Attack lineup?
I was honestly under the impression that they would be appearing alongside Massive Attack once again this time...
Jesse Sanchez60, how many members of the band are making the trip to Chicago?
Truly convincing indeed! 🙂
