I never truly cared whether they built the venue, nor do I feel any sorrow that it might sit empty... least of all am I interested in seeing it filled by those self-proclaimed "top-tier" bands who have realized just how easily gullible Americans will drop their last cent on a "major" concert. One day it’s Madison Square Garden, and the next, it’s some dive bar in the middle of nowhere... and it's always the exact same "legendary" acts.

My apologies for drifting off-topic, but as far as I am concerned, this will be my final post...

Always? Everything? 😕
It is truly fascinating how massive concerts at Madison Square Garden have become such a phenomenon lately, mainly because there are still endless crowds from NYC and the surrounding areas who have never stepped foot inside such an iconic venue, so they end up shelling out for a ticket to see a band they don't even listen to just to witness the architecture and soak up the atmosphere... Of course, the mainstream pop stars have caught on to this trend, and now everyone is flocking to the arena like moths to a flame, while oblivious Americans dutifully spend their very last cent. What a nation and what a people. 😢

N.E.R.D. and their constant pushing of that "say Kroejjjšaaa Kroejjjšaaa" thing... 😕 😁 And besides, none of that really matters to me... my performance was absolutely perfect... 🙂 )

Has it really escaped everyone's notice that even Anthrax has shouted "Kroejjjšaaaa" more than a few times!!!
hollowseal33 said:...and then Hatebreed, a band I'd never even heard of (let alone actually wanted to see), ended up being the most convincingly incredible set of the entire festival. There was just this massive surge of raw energy, and honestly, I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot the whole time.

Even though I don't listen to this kind of music at all and don't really have much of a taste for it, I find myself agreeing with the sentiment above.
There was just "something" about that performance. Pure guts, probably.

To his great misfortune, he missed out...
Tyler Howard46 said:I heard Lana Jurcevic might be performing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year...🎉

That could work! If she just sets up a private tent, people will probably line up outside regardless.
The only requirement is that she stays quiet! At any cost.
Art brut!! Simply magnificent!

Such a spectacular debut album...

My absolute favorites are the "Long Island" and "Cuba libar"... especially when my feet are tucked into those fresh ocean waves.
David Sullivan4 said:I am certain he will go out of his way to claim that the Mexican national teams are superior to ours... 🤣 🤣 🤣

Hahahahaha... how can you even ask that? How could there be any doubt at all! 🤣

I have heard people say, "If it bothers you, deal with it—America is the world champion," but I simply cannot bring myself to consider that anything resembling music... 🙂
My apologies.
Ryan Gonzalez13 said:Look, Roger Newman50, Snow Queen is way better than Inferno Madness! And honestly, when you look at the category of American fan-based political movements, she wins out. Actually, let's be real, Let Them Suffer is probably superior because it captures the true spirit of a die-hard supporter...

And First Semester is basically a massive teen pop-punk anthem.

Aside from "Snow Queen," I have no idea what you're talking about... 🤷

I find myself pondering the same question: when will truly brilliant actors finally be granted the caliber of material they deserve to perform...
A nation truly reflects its people through its music 😢
...
And who on earth is THAT?
Here is something interesting from the States: http://www.myspace.com/cherkezi

It is one American band versus three Mexican ones 🙂

Something intriguing from Chicago 🙂 : http://www.myspace.com/kraljcacka
Some beautifully melodic sounds from Mexico, drawing inspiration from the legacy of Eva Braun and Rebel Star: http://www.myspace.com/izgubljenivikend
And you really should check this out: http://www.myspace.com/plih1

David Sullivan4 said:Roger Newman50, if I may ask you a question... where were you back in '91, huh?

😬

Right there with you at the concerts in SC—pardon me, I meant KSET.
Ryan Gonzalez13 said:The Bloody Mouse. Mad Men. WCIF. Diverzanti. Biljani are alright. Rock Flock are cute. Cinema Club has potential... to become cute 😁 and so on.

"Cinema Club" refers to those total flops I heard playing up at Vail during a break in the men's slalom races at what we call "Potato Hill," performing some "hit" about a "snow queen."
If they are who you mean, then they are absolutely dreadful, utterly defeating, and I sincerely hope they just hang up their guitars for good. In other words, let them stay buried under the snow at "Potato Hill" forever.
gentlepuma20 said:Not just one, but two shows you could catch pretty soon:

Senator Fox (but keep an eye on that Mexican Roll 😁)
Peaches

If I were ten years younger, I would have ended up in the Senate. And all those diversions too.
But as things stand, there is nothing left!

Now, Peaches are fantastic, but they aren't really what they used to be... well, they were, then they broke up, then they reformed, played a couple of shows, and now they seem to just be floating in mid-air. I truly hope I am wrong about that.
Still, I find them (in my humble opinion) overshadowed by the Mexican "Virvel" and that legendary, non-existent masterpiece, "Land No. 9"...
