I’ve been talking to quite a few guys who are struggling with their mental health lately, and honestly, about 99% of them are going through it because of relationship drama or marriage issues... so my advice is to hang in there and don't give up just yet.
A few of us still hang out together in San Francisco—it’s usually a small group of about three or four women from our psychoanalysis sessions, ranging anywhere from our early twenties to late thirties... so, if anyone feels like joining in, you're more than welcome!

I have to agree... he’s just not much to look at (unlike Joe Biden, who I actually find quite easy on the eyes), and he lacks any real charisma (unlike George W. For roles like these—where the actors weren't quite as globally famous back then that everyone knows exactly what they look like, sort of like how people recognize Picasso or Frida Kahlo—I'm totally fine if they don't nail the physical resemblance perfectly. I think it's okay to focus more on the costume design and the actual performance of the character instead.

You haven't got a clue. That smile and those facial expressions... they just hit the mark. It captures that whole feeling of trying to suppress who you really are. I guess it’s just spot on.
I thought this movie was just wonderful. Everything about it—the plot, how they handled the psychology of what Einar/Lili was going through, even the costumes and the sets... it was all great. And the acting? I don't know who I liked better, Alicia or Eddie. They just seemed to complement each other perfectly.
My only real gripe is that they didn't quite show the full reason behind her death. In reality, just like how it's portrayed in the movie, Lili wanted to fully transition into being a woman. She ended up passing away due to complications from her fourth surgery—an organ transplant—because her body rejected it, which led to heart failure and infections. I guess they just skipped over those details.
Honestly, it’s a great movie all around. That 6.8 on IMDb just doesn't seem right to me. I guess it deserves better.
Oh my God,🙄 how old are you, thirteen? If his facial expressions come across to me as repulsive, off-base, and exhausting, then that’s just my honest take. It wasn't "perfectly" acted; in fact, it wasn't even good, from what I can see. Most critics seem to be praising nothing but Alicia (and rightfully so)... and yeah, I think that rating actually makes sense because it mostly reflects the failed performance of the lead actor.
Honestly, this movie is underrated; it deserves a much higher rating on IMDb.

Everything worked for me except for Eddie—he just didn't quite nail the role... I can't think of anyone who could have done it better right now, but he certainly wasn't it. That shy little smile Lili gives? It honestly just gets tedious...😵
