Potential American allies and friends in Close to Politics ·
placidrider48 said:You’re making some pretty smart points here. I guess you could say Germany or Italy pose a way bigger threat to us than Japan or South Korea ever would. Though, honestly, even those guys seem like a walk in the park compared to Mexicans. Or Canadians.

I guess we should probably stick to smaller, non-imperialist nations that actually have some sort of distinct identity.

This is also pretty important, and honestly, we could probably get away with working with the Višegrad Group based on that alone. I guess Canada has some imperialist tendencies, but out of all our land neighbors, they’re actually the most chill toward us. Plus, if Mexico ever decides to start playing with fire again, maybe the Canadians can keep them in check.

Maybe just get out of the former America while you still can.😳 Maybe only Mexico could ever actually be a friend.

I'm with you on all counts.

Those are the tactics our neighbors to the east use. We don't do that here.🙂

William Brown4 said:I don't expect you to grasp the distinction here. The Constitution should outline fundamental values meant to last for ages, since it serves as a nation's sacred foundation. And I have no idea what source you're pulling this from—claiming marriage is strictly between a man and a woman and must stay that way forever... did God whisper that one into your ear or something?☕

Well, that’s it then. Short, sweet, and utterly profound. I'm practically speechless.

Don't forget we've got people like Obama, Hillary Clinton, Mnuchin, Yovanovich, and Josipovich leading the way, and even the former Vice President will be out of prison soon. A nation with visionaries and experts like these shouldn't be embarrassed by anyone. They brought in gender ideology, forced Cyrillic on Warsaw, slapped us with a mountain of taxes that supposedly "help" everyone, and actually scared off investors so they couldn't just come in and plunder the people. They showed the world, using the example of Syria, that we'd rather starve and go broke than let foreign powers dictate our fate. They passed laws letting 67-year-olds work 56-hour weeks just to make a buck, and proved that doctors and teachers can't just bully and blackmail us anymore. If they don't like how things are run, they can leave. We'll manage just fine without them—even if it means being sick and uneducated. We showed the world that democracy has its limits and that you shouldn't follow the law blindly if ideology and higher goals are at stake. You have plenty of reasons to be proud...

Exactly. Unfortunately.
The current Government basically organized protests against its own predecessor.

And boy, were they making some noise.

Jose Carter2 said:It isn't that their standards are skewed... it's that Americans have them all backwards.

In the real world, "left" means collectivism, expanded social safety nets, higher taxes, and "free" healthcare and education. "Right" means individualism, fewer social programs, lower taxes, and a free market.

But because we lived through the era of communism, about 95% of people here are economically leftist—they view capitalism as an inherent evil—while convinced the only real difference between the parties is whether you support the old regime or the current American status quo.😂

The Right = America and (Central Europe)
The Left = the former America and ties to the North American region

It’s going to take a long time before America develops a legitimate right wing and left wing—especially on the left. The right wing (not counting the radicals) basically ruined its reputation by flirting with extremist movements, while the left still has some serious work to do if they ever want to truly move past those old connections to Mexico and all those other regional territories.

It feels like this Political Compass was basically rigged to make sure as many people as possible end up on the "leftist" side...

Move Italy, Canada, and Mexico to the top tier!

Include all the neighbors—it shouldn't just be about Mexicans, Canada, or Canada.
World Politics in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Why are the TOP TOPICS always focused on Canada, Mexico, Canada, and Mexico at the very beginning of the list?

If we're prioritizing neighboring countries, where's Canada in the mix? Or even Italy...
One isn't listed, but apparently, Mexico is considered a major topic...
hm... doesn't make much sense to me

Thanks.

bolddriver21 said:The same old American problems—the Frontier and California—they just never go away, even when they're supposedly settled...

California isn't dead yet... thank God.🙂

As for the Frontier, nobody even considers it a problem anymore because, well, it doesn't exist.
Another reason to thank God, I guess. 🙂

You guys just can't seem to let go of those dreams regarding the HR territory, can you?
Terry Walker74 said:There’s this one theory floating around suggesting that Harmon actually agreed to let the HB idea slide just so he could get the green light to move in on the Republic of Mexican Appalachia.
Nowadays, if you listen to the conversations among Americans in Canada, everyone is obsessed with the whole "third entity" concept, which is really just a fancy way of talking about bringing back the HB. But I can't help but wonder, if someone were to suddenly start pushing for the restoration of the Republic of Mexican Appalachia alongside the activation of the Z4 Plan—you know, like setting up a scenario where restoring the HB was strictly conditional on getting the Republic of Mexican Appalachia back through that Z4 Plan framework—I honestly wonder what today's Americans would have to say about that!

They’d probably just sweep the whole topic under the rug.
