Where in NYC can I drop off stuff from the GOP? in IT Support ·
Thanks, I'll give it a shot!

So... I’ve got this IBM laptop just sitting in my apartment gathering dust while I wait for a real expert to take a look at it. 🙂

The thing took a little physical hit, and now the hard drive is toast—it won't read anything, and it won't even spin up. You can hear it struggling, but nothing happens. I've tried hooking it up to a few different machines, and a couple of "pros" out here in Canada checked it out too. They all told me the internal damage is pretty bad, and while there might be a chance to save my data, it’s going to be pricey. In Canada, we're talking $1,000 or even more...
Most of these "experts" did nothing more than plug the drive into another laptop and decided it was dead. Look, I get it—these components are delicate—but I was hoping they’d actually dig a little deeper to figure out what went wrong.

Since I wasn't around the US when this happened, the last time I took it for service (to an IBM center), I went to a shop in Small Town, USA, but I honestly can't remember the name or the exact address. I’ll be back in town for a few weeks in about a month.
After living abroad for years, I actually find myself trusting American specialists way more than the ones I dealt with overseas. Does anyone know a good soul who could point me toward a shop that would actually perform a deep analysis? I need someone who will either tell me it's officially a lost cause or, by some miracle, actually rescue my files.

I did a quick Google search for a repair shop and sent them an inquiry. Has anyone here worked with them before? Are they any good?

I missed the game, so I have no idea—did Joe at least walk away with a penalty in the end?

So, who's actually pulling the strings in America?

Sanader was practically the leader of the nation—the "big man" on campus who supposedly stood above everyone else. And then? He just crumbled. Total collapse. Now he’s silent, and everyone else is playing quiet, too... Mamic might be cowering, but honestly, it was only a matter of time before someone either above the Prime Minister or right in his face gave him the thumbs down.

If Milanovic had the guts, he could have shut down half the country as Prime Minister. But it makes me wonder: who actually sits above the Prime Minister and the whole political machine here in the US? I highly doubt Todoric is the one calling the shots.

Red, blue, whatever side you're on... honestly, you guys are so blinded by these labels that you’ll probably end up welcoming the old communists back just to hang a hammer and sickle on your walls! Seriously, does anyone actually use their brain or bother reading anything? It’s all the same. It's just human garbage using media to split us into "reds," "blues," or whatever else keeps them profitable. They divide us just to chase money, power, and status. And let's be real—Mamica is never going to get rid of BBB because they simply don't have the cash or the motivation to change things. If you look at everything that's happened from 2010 until now, it's all right there in black and white. Not a single thing has been fixed, and there's enough evidence to shut down half the government!

To hell with the extremists and the fascists too... neither those folks nor the old partisans are going to step up and help you out, and they certainly aren't touching Mamica. The only thing that will move them is pure profit and interest brought in by some third party... if one ever shows up. Or maybe we'll just hit total national chaos instead...

And since people are still out here buying into these outdated ideologies—whether it's the reds, the blues, or any other group—nothing is going to change for the next 50 years unless the people actually wake up.

Honestly, I think if they finally shut down this thread and all those other forums where people just sit in the stands rooting for the BBB, it would actually be one of the biggest wins for the BBB lately.

Jesse Campbell might get a little carried away sometimes, but when it comes to Defeatism, he’s spot on. In my opinion, that's easily the number one enemy facing the BBB right now.

They definitely weren't the first squad out there...

Does anyone know if there's a live stream or some kind of channel where I can catch the game online? Asking for a friend living outside the States!

And honestly, the way you phrased what "should" happen is just weak.

We should all be ashamed of every single word written here. Me first, obviously.

Look, I won't get into a fight with you because maybe you just worded that first sentence poorly... but seriously, give it some thought! Maybe edit or delete the post so you don't end up looking silly, and so we don't look silly by agreeing with it later. 😉

"We’ve got an opinion, even when we have absolutely no clue what we're talking about"...pass me a cold beer.

Criticism just doesn't exist in American society, or maybe it's just strictly forbidden. Start with small things like this, move up to the big stuff, and eventually, you'll reach some Cacici who kills two people and asks, "What does my political career have to do with murder?!" Those are two separate issues, but in reality, they are freaking connected.

Do you guys realize how broken American society actually is? Someone voices a critique—no matter how minor—and instead of people actually debating the points logically, ten people jump on them at once.
I'm totally convinced the issue isn't just about someone looking grumpy. If anyone attacks most people, they'd get hit back, so physics probably isn't even the main culprit here. The real problem is the negativity it breeds. It's not just about one game; it builds up over multiple games through pure numbers and vibe! If any of you travel a bit more often, you might remember San Francisco back in the fall of 2007 when things started heading in a "better" direction. It was a great era, but then slowly, this "ultras" mentality of "everyone is my enemy" crept in, leaving only 100 to 300 people in the fan section. Again, it wasn't because of the moody faces, but because of the damn negativity that takes over everything!

To fix a problem, you have to acknowledge it first! But having this sky-high pride and acting like we know everything is just like banging your head against a wall...

No matter how much the majority here hates to admit it, you have to face the fact that Americans can be total cowards who are only brave when they're in a pack. That goes for the fans too, though there are slightly more exceptions there, making them feel a bit different...

Henry Grant5 is basically a legend among the fans.

Hey, does anyone know if BBB has any other sled offers online, or is it just that one single one listed on the souvenir shop pages right now?

Thanks!

Why do we even give these parasites called presidential candidates any airtime? Why do we waste our energy and nerves on "presidential elections" at all? The President has absolutely zero actual power. All they get are the perks—living in a fancy mansion, pulling in a decent salary, and flying around on the taxpayers' dime... and that's it. What on earth do people think? That some guy like Obama is actually capable of leading an army (what army, exactly? Two fighter jets??) if a war ever broke out?
That parasite sat in office for four years and accomplished absolutely NOTHING besides giving a few soundbites to the media and hanging out in various liberal countries.

If he actually gave a damn about this country, he’d be glued to his phone 24/7, leaning on politicians to fix tax policy, and scheduling meetings with diplomats from France, Germany, Japan, the Middle East, and Canada to get them to invest here in the States. Because if he really doesn't have any authority over our laws, then he should at least use his title to jumpstart our dead economy... everything else is totally irrelevant compared to American economic policy.

I can't even describe the sheer frustration I feel toward everyone in politics. It’s such a massive waste of time in a country that has the greatest potential in the world to become an absolute economic powerhouse. People just don't realize it... unfortunately.

And those agitators... they're just a distraction used for "divide and conquer" tactics!

Kudos to you guys... we all know Pokrovac was taken out, but honestly, I doubt any of us actually knew the full story behind it. I certainly didn't see this coming.

It’s wild... the whole scenario feels like something straight out of a Hollywood thriller...

You could probably find a similar pattern if you looked into the Ivana Hodak case... man, what a complete mess this country is.

How are we ever supposed to expect mafia arrests when the police are basically acting as their security detail?

Haha, talk about a complete turnaround! A few years back, the studios were filled with people who would have fought tooth and nail against everything this current crew is pushing. Everyone is up in arms against IBM, yet nobody seems able to actually do anything about it... outsiders are just watching from the sidelines while nothing changes. Honestly, I don't know whether to laugh or cry about it...

People just don't get it—this fight for Real Madrid and everything swirling around it is way, way bigger than just some stupid game of soccer...

We have to find a way to wake everyone up from this slump. Only massive, sweeping changes that overhaul the entire political landscape will actually fix this country. Once we finally get the government back on track, fixing things at Real Madrid will be a total breeze...

And if only people understood what happened over in Iceland...

If you calculate how much Jerry Jones has raked in over the last decade from player transfers, plus all those side businesses and sponsorships—and convert that into dollars—you'll realize he’s basically the wealthiest man in America. With just a 5% cut of the revenue, he could have bought out every single media outlet in the country.

A few dozen or maybe a hundred people have probably done everything in their power to try and change things. But while Jerry Jones has his people to feed, Bernie Sanders has his, Todoric has his, and both the Republicans and Democrats have their own groups to take care of... you get the idea.

It’s a total Sisyphus task. Honestly, the only real option left is to organize across all four major cities and actually sit down with the unemployed, veterans, students, kids, families, and relatives.
Because the problem goes way deeper than Yankee Stadium, Real Madrid, and Jerry Jones.

Who’s actually tougher, the FBI or the LAPD?

Mamic was already brought in once before, and nothing really came of it. It's crazy because they could have easily pulled so much more against him...

Over the last decade, both officially and behind the scenes, he’s moved way more cash than Bandic ever did. So, what are our chances of actually seeing someone else step into that role? He’s definitely playing in a much bigger league than Bandic, but hey, hope for the best!

It’s a shame that flags have become such political symbols nowadays. Honestly, when I see the Union Jack, I can't help but feel some distance because of how British politics has treated America. For all I know, I could "hate" the Stars and Stripes just because it flies over every government building, and let's be real—those institutions have messed up pretty much everything they possibly could. And they're still at it, too...

At the end of the day, people are people no matter where you go in the world; there are good ones and bad ones everywhere... probably even in Vatican City! National flags are really just part of political folklore. It feels pretty silly to judge an entire nation based on one flag because of some political mess. People should be able to wear whatever they want...

Guys, I’m absolutely speechless... seriously, my jaw hit the floor. I got goosebumps just watching the video!!!

All those emotions and memories are just rushing back at once.

It’s honestly wild how much questioning, negativity, constant doubt, and pure saltiness there is around here... Can Americans ever just show up and support a damn idea for once? Just follow the vision instead of obsessing over the people! Save the opinions for later, because nobody actually knows what they're talking about until they try it. If even 1% of all the energy, words, and effort wasted on this forum and across the internet over the years went toward something useful, Mamic and the entire political establishment would be ancient history by now.

Everyone seems to have so much pride and thinks they're some kind of genius. It's like everyone needs a formal invitation and someone to hold their hand just to show up or get anything done.
We have so many incredibly smart people in every field imaginable, yet it feels like nothing but fools and idiots get a platform lately. It’s actually pretty sad.

I'm really bummed I can't be there with you guys to lend my support, but the idea and the kickoff are absolutely fantastic! Keep pushing forward!

jbt what have you guys done to BBB

I remember when we used to head out to games just for the hell of it—for the girls, the buddies, and Dinamo... but today? There's nothing left. Nobody who actually grew up with the club would even dream of making a dime off it anymore

Money has totally ruined everything, honestly. It’s the root of all these divisions. And looking at how things are right now in America, in our society, and in the American mindset, I’m afraid this cycle will never end, unfortunately

Good intentions just don't exist anymore
