Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Part 5 in War in Ukraine ·

Word on the street is they’re actually sending about 10% of the FSB's active duty staff over to Ukraine just to "boost troop morale." Honestly, getting some serious NKVD vibes from that one.

Where exactly is this supposed Biden threat?
Someone needs to remind those Russians where they belong...
The West is far more powerful—they've just lost their nerve.

It's not like the US is just sitting around doing nothing.

Daniel Ward87 said:Let them. Let them mobilize everyone, especially those "decent" Russians who claim to be against Putin but stay quiet because they're terrified of the mob. The more they get mobilized and sent to Ukraine to become target practice, the more they'll come back home in a Cargo 200 box. Maybe then—just maybe—the people will finally realize that if 20,000 of them actually hit the streets, the authorities won't be able to arrest them all fast enough.

So yeah, keep the mobilization coming. As for those Russians trying to flee across the Finnish border or into any EU country? Just send them straight back to Uncle Putin. I wouldn't be surprised if most of them supported the cause until it was time to actually put their own necks on the line for the motherland.☕

Look at this—it’s all shits and giggles for these idiots right now, until that first 155mm shell lands right in their lap.

More booze than soldiers, man.

Dammit, look how many of us there are, dammit, we've got to crush the Ukrainians.

https://twitter.com/wartranslated/st...33122304835584

Actually following orders? 😂 I don't think anyone's ever seen that happen in the military.

The officers are too busy being cowards anyway, since they know these guys are basically just cannon fodder.

What a high-quality "referendum" we have here, especially with Wagner Group members standing guard at the polling stations while people are being hunted down in the streets.

I’m just sitting here expecting some incredible "competence" when it comes to "counting" those votes; I bet we'll have the official results within two hours of everything wrapping up.

The results are in: 84% for unification, and the other 16%? Yeah, they basically fell out of a fifth-story window into a basement.

A First Lieutenant running a whole battalion? Man, that’s rough... sounds like they're facing a massive officer shortage out there.

I mean, we're looking at 1,200 officers killed, and that's actually backed up by death certificates.

So, the US says Abrams and all those other Western tanks are officially being considered right now.
Honestly, I feel like we already know how these public "discussions" about specific military hardware usually end up playing out...

analogbear70 said:I’ll say it again: if things had been handled more intelligently, this could have been avoided. That doesn't excuse the aggressor—Russia—but rather highlights the failure. The reality is that no one from the UN onwards (aside from the Chinese) is calling for a ceasefire, negotiations, or peace. It’s just weapons, weapons, weapons. Why wasn't equipment being sent to us? Why were we forced to wander the globe like beggars, pleading for help while being treated like an afterthought, all while Zelenskyy calls out the very leaders he needs? Why were we hit with embargos while everyone else looked the other way? We offered up a quarter of our territory before Operation Storm, which I believe ended up in court later. Even then, there was intense domestic opposition, and Feral was constantly critical, while the World media published nothing but half-truths about the downsides of our newly formed nation. None of that exists now. And yet, the Russians remain the aggressors; occupied lands deserve better.

He was basically cornered and pleaded for months, even during those first few weeks, to stop fighting or at least de-escalate.

He even lied to Macron just two days before the invasion started, claiming nothing was going to happen.

The USA was also calling for everything to be settled at the negotiating table. Zelenskyy was actually down for it—he even showed good faith by ordering the demining of the paths leading from Crimea toward the heart of the country. Now, we're seeing how that move totally backfired on him.

The massive airlift of weapons only really kicked into high gear once it became obvious that no amount of talking was going to talk sense into the madman.

So, what's your big solution here? How do we avoid war without basically carving Ukraine into pieces?
Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Part 5 in War in Ukraine ·
"Partial" mobilization? Let's be real, this is basically full-scale mobilization. The only people avoiding the draft are those sitting pretty in the political elite class.

Do yourself a favor and actually read what Putin was personally writing back in 2021 regarding Ukrainians and their nation. After seeing that, tell me again how anyone could have avoided a conflict with a guy like him.

It looks like Putin is driving them straight into a demographic death spiral with this mobilization, and I honestly wonder who’s going to be left to guard the border against China after he's done.

They're basically just mass-gathering cannon fodder out in the Pacific Northwest—keeping it all out of sight and away from anyone with a functioning brain.

Then you’ve got those Z-zombies who are actually cheering and toastng while they head off to war.🤮

This kind of mobilization is a fast track to internal unrest. If this idiot keeps going down this path, we could be looking at total disintegration of the Russian Federation.

James Chavez91 said:Alright. So, I have this theory (I’ve ranted about this before), where the Chinese side openly turns against Russia—basically siding with the West and slapping them with enough sanctions to force a Russian withdrawal.
-Just my two cents, mind you—I'm no geostrategy expert 🤣

If that actually worked, here is how I’d play it...
The US tells China, "Look, just back off Putin, lean on him, and make him retreat, and in exchange, we'll pull back our focus on protecting Taiwan." That could lead to a de-escalation in UA, lowering the risk of those scary nuclear games. You'd still get a China-Taiwan conflict, but one that doesn't trigger a nuclear Armageddon. And since Taiwan isn't exactly insignificant, it would leave China wounded and weakened, which—I guess—would ultimately satisfy the Americans.

There you go—everyone wins, right? Haha. What do you guys think? Should I give Joe Biden a call with this proposal? 😁

Russia has plenty of headaches to deal with without needing to "sacrifice" Taiwan.
You know you're being toxic when even North Korea is telling you to kick rocks, and your only "allies" left are Iran and Belarus.

They’re just targeting specific groups disproportionately; once again, ethnic minorities are being treated like total cannon fodder.

In places like Buryatia, they’re literally snatching up college students right off campus to send them to recruitment centers.

It’s almost a given that tactical nukes will be used on Ukrainian soil—but who cares, right? It’s all at a safe distance from the US. Nobody gave a damn when they dropped nukes on Japan, either. As long as these people are dying and their land is being poisoned, it doesn't matter. All that depleted uranium will just sit there, ruining their soil and water until the local population pays the price. Meanwhile, the real puppet masters of war just keep stacking up the profits. ☕

🙏🙏

This hasn't been the main focus for long, but it feels like the bad actors in the West are just looking for any excuse to see how much damage they can do to these people.

Just an FYI, these folks have been more than capable of handling their own business for centuries without needing anyone else to step in and save them.

People are dying. Since when was the Iranian Revolutionary Guard known for having a soft heart?
The Iranians are protesting in much larger numbers and with way more resolve over something far less existential than a war or mass mobilization.

The authorities are just beating them mercilessly wherever they can. Years of repression and pure frustration are finally boiling over. It's like that old saying about the straw that broke the camel's back.

Honestly, I don't think Russians have even reached that breaking point as a nation yet. So far, it's mostly been the folks on the outskirts and the minorities paying the price for this war.

Russian military bloggers and their little reality distortion fields.

The whole mobilization thing was supposedly "necessary" because now the Russian army is finally going to get soldiers who are actually patriotic, motivated, and properly trained. 🙏 🙏

Apparently, all the volunteers they had up until now were just poorly motivated and lacked any real training. 😂

But honestly, it’s pretty standard stuff—forced conscripts usually end up having better morale and motivation than volunteers in these kinds of situations.🤦

It’s funny how those Putin enthusiasts here didn't try to convince us that losing Mastercard and Visa wouldn't hurt the Russians? They kept claiming they had their own system, but if anything, this "Mir" thing is just going to squeeze those card companies even more by carving out its own slice of the market. 🕺

Who was sending us donations? Nobody. Honestly, I think the West (meaning the USA and the UK) really just wants to drain Russia dry without giving a single damn about what actually happens to Ukraine in the middle of it all. Russia is the aggressor, sure, but they're dangerous if they're strong—and arguably even more unpredictable if they're weakened down. We really need to be careful about how we handle this situation.

You've got a point there. This current trickle of supplies is pretty weak for a situation like this. Like you said, we should probably be looking at high-flow delivery and just mass-producing Abrams, Bradleys, M1 Abrams, Marder, and F-15s, then throwing in some ATACMS as the cherry on top. ☕
