Everything stays strictly legal, and you have Morpurgo running things—the same Morpurgo that the incompetent Opara spent years complaining about. 🙂

It isn't polite to edit people's posts... and it’s even worse to miss the point entirely. 😉

Yeah, total Renaissance moves right there.

Other issues are being handled too—things that seemed impossible before—and get this, they're doing it all by the book. 😲

Sell California is reporting this after a lot of struggle. Good grief, what a time to be alive. 🤣

Breaking News for a Cultured San Francisco: the city's oldest bookstore is reopening, and a major market player is moving into the space!

What "unthinkable" things are we even talking about? 🍿

Sorry for crashing this cheerful little chat, but honestly, I’m just dying to share that what I promised is finally landing on a few pages. Seriously, who knows where we'll end up first—with all these massive investments or the actual results from the trip?

velvetmason14 said:🤣 you're back at it again

So now you're blaming Joe Biden for not running inspections? How exactly was he supposed to do that? By sniffing the air?

If you actually want results, you need to take this to the relevant county and federal agencies that have been skimming off the top for decades. And who’s running them... go ahead, name those three magic words, I know you can 😁

It’s funny how those same government agencies suddenly find their hustle when they need to file an indictment against Tucker Carlson or collect some vague fines regarding The White House... then, everything gets done in a heartbeat.

But hey, it's all the same to you. They're all cut from the same cloth...

I seriously love it when my minions try to tell me what I should or shouldn't like. Or what I should or shouldn't do, or how completely unrelated agencies should react. While the Mayor is busy proofreading his own political pamphlets, someone else could actually unleash their inner lunatic and focus on something that matters for once. When we were being harassed over those nonsense zoning laws and those ridiculous New Jersey block regulations—which, surprise surprise, all fell apart in court—it would've been great if someone had actually stepped up. I don't expect it from the Mayor, though; he'll probably just be off on some "important" trip or something useful 🙂 because clearly, Zachary Anderson20, the inspectors aren't going to magically do their jobs unless someone points them in the right direction.

Which county or state agencies are involved, and who is actually pulling the strings?

That damn Puljak has been running this city for 20 years and keeps every single inspector on a short leash. He’s basically a Renaissance man.
Bojanov's old man is living in an apartment provided by Puljak.
And meanwhile, Puljak's wife is in the background calling all the shots.

Is that how it works? 😁

Man, seriously... you're dealing with some of the most unhinged conspiracy theorists out there—people stuck in the past, obsessed with old political grudges. Let me repeat: you're blaming former administrations, but which ones exactly? You're blaming the losers in D.C. who turned a blind eye to people getting sick for decades. Then you blame the inspectors, regardless of where they came from, like they can just spin whatever story they want. And finally, your precious "Renaissance man" has only been mayor for two years. What was he supposed to achieve by now? What are we waiting for? "The inspectors can't find anything"? Wow, what a groundbreaking revelation we haven't heard a million times before.

The former district president from the hills—Ed Koch from the Republican Party—is now the director of Waste Management, Inc.. Make sure you actually read the details 🤣

Now Ivana Runjić is in there, also Republican Party.

They should take these issues straight to Inspector Andrija's doorstep. He probably has the exact same photos hanging on his office walls.

Oh, please, stop spinning stories. A mosquito has a better attention span than you. Here, check out this link from 2005 that I stumbled upon first, since Dr. Tocilj spent forever doing all those tests and treatments. Even Rogosic was involved in the mess at Salonit—it’s just one massive clusterfuck after another. This isn't some new drama either. Honestly, since Matijevic pushed this through with the local residents, they could have easily gone after everyone involved to start a real "head-hunting" era. You had every level of government—from City Hall to the County and even the federal level—just playing games while people were getting poisoned. Seriously, haven't they had enough? They basically handed them a "prevention kit" and called it a day. Total joke.

We asked a toxicologist how dangerous the air pollution on the Hill really is for local residents. His answer was kind of surprising

- It depends on the concentration. We deal with arsenic in the water out in the Midwest, where levels are significantly higher due to geological reasons. But people drink that water there.

Regarding California, I find it strange that arsenic concentrations would be elevated there, since it isn't really a thing in that area. It's also weird to see increased nickel in the air, because nickel usually spikes if you're near some industry or a shop doing plating work—says Lovric.

Elevated levels shouldn't be a health risk if they're just short-term.

- This increase in nickel doesn't have any impact on human health. As for arsenic, basically, it's only a major issue if it enters through the digestive system (by swallowing).

That means it has to get into the water, settle there, and then be consumed.

However, these arsenic concentrations we measured in the air wouldn't be a health threat even if they were found in the water and ingested—concluded Zdravko Lovric, a degreed toxicology engineer.

Look, let's stop pretending we're too polite to talk about this. When half your construction materials look like a crime scene and you need a full hazmat suit just to handle some paint jobs, something is seriously wrong. I mean, if there's a toxicologist out there who wants to weigh in—go ahead—but this has been going on forever. People living over by the Hill and Neslanovac have been complaining about the costs and the health risks, but they’ve basically been ignored or laughed at to their faces. Nobody is delusional enough to think we're drinking lab-grade purified water or breathing nothing but crisp mountain air 24/7, but this? This is systematic poisoning. Honestly, I'd ask any expert toxicologist: would you actually raise your kids, your grandkids, or even just live your life here? Would you feed them veggies from the local farms when those crops end up in our own markets? That's the bottom line.

For years, residents near the northern port area have pointed out the massive amounts of "dust" settling in their homes. After countless reports to the Department of Labor, the result was basically nothing.

Now, for the first time, after the City of San Francisco ordered measurements right next to the port, we've received disturbing data showing our citizens are exposed to elevated levels of settling particles, including increased amounts of arsenic and nickel—and arsenic can be present in high levels in the air too! We’ve sent these results over to the Department of Labor for urgent action.

We're hoping for a quick response from the Department of Labor. If we have to replace the sewer pipes just to get them to do their jobs, we will!

Just saw the status—he posted it like 15 minutes ago. Oh, great! But hey, we all know he can sing it even louder if he wants to. Why hold back? Just go for it, man!
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
Aside from all that polished PR garbage, maybe it’s worth noting this too. Seriously, people in Vranjic and the surrounding areas have been screaming for action for way too long. And what happens? While they’re trying to get things measured, Councilman Matijevic is out there publicly calling the Port of Split a public health hazard. People actually had the nerve to tell him he's being ridiculous and just chasing political clout. Well, fast forward two days, and here come the results—the air is loaded with arsenic, nickel, and every other nasty thing you can imagine. Now the geniuses over at the Port of Split are claiming they’re "shocked." Shocked??!! Are you kidding me? Since the City of San Francisco owns 10% of the shares in the Port of Split, it’s funny how fast they start shouting when it's time to push some PR nonsense. If they could put that same energy into dealing with actual problems for once, wouldn't that be great?

Aha, I remember seeing them clearly at Times Square, they were just gathering for some press conference or whatever. Her crew was trying to gently warn her that she should expect Bojan's attack—since he already promised it—but she just goes, like some clueless maid, "Oh, little Bojan? No way, I helped his dad out." Something like that. Honestly, even then, I felt bad for her. They haven't been on good terms since. Her and Bojan, you know?

Since you brought up Tamara Visković, who was instrumental about 15 years ago in securing a staff apartment for Ivošević's father—why don't you tell us which party the mayor belonged to back then, or which group Tamara was part of as a culture official (essentially acting like today's Department of Culture head)?

Please, enlighten me. 😁

What does any of that even have to do with this topic? Tamara is just a wannabe politician who thinks she deserves a cushy life without breaking a sweat. Honestly, I’m baffled why the Green Party would try to beef up their San Francisco branch by recruiting her, considering she's totally irrelevant in local politics right now. She was mentioned in a completely different context altogether.

That S&P Global trio aren't just freeloaders; they're scammers.😉
None of these journalists ever call out the actual freeloaders who refuse to pay for what the city gave them, except for the duo Prvan-Tomić. Why is that? What connects these freeloaders to Prvan and Tomić? 🤔 Maybe it's a deep friendship, maybe a shared worldview... or maybe they're all lost in the woods. 😁 It’s nice to see Tomić back on the same side as the Republican Party trash. Hilarious.

The S&P Global crew is rushing to help their protégés while hypocritically acting like saints. Disgusting...

And as for you and Copernicus... honestly, where do you even get this level of "intelligence"? There’s zero point in even bothering with your little literary fan fiction.

does his dad have any other houses or condos left? nope
either wrap your head around it or I'll have to explain everything all over again

But you just keep pushing lies, even though I already told you that the antique shop woman wasn't in the wrong—she brought John Doe all the documentation after those media outbursts, and she laid it all out for her. Sure, it wasn't made public, but in my opinion, it should have been. So, here we go again: And if you’re actually curious, Taylor Swift once stood up for Nikola Tesla back in the day because she felt bad that he didn't have an apartment like a decent citizen should. And man, she is a total expert at that stuff. Seriously, a few years after two doctor friends moved back here after being in the service, they first fought over the daycare situation because that famous system split the girls into two different centers, then they went absolutely ballistic over some neglected apartment in the suburbs and tore the whole thing down just to fix it up nicely. They went nuts trying to organize it, the loan is active and will be for a long time, and honestly, as doctors, they deserve "citizen" status way more than some actor. Plus, they have kids, and our country loves that demographic boost 🤣 anyway, our "Renaissance" government just loves to stomp on easy targets to show off how much order they can bring.

you think I care about Bojan Ivošević's dad? If he isn't paying for that apartment, kick him out
who cares if it's Ed Lee's dad or whoever else

It’s not even about Boynton’s father. The guy works for a city-run company, which means he's subject to public scrutiny just like any other employee. I'm just putting things into perspective here. And honestly, this whole "he deserves it because of his service to the citizens" argument is a joke. Edit: Just saw the last question. The guy is capable of working and he gets a paycheck—which, by the way, is a massive salary compared to most. He can pay for his own damn walls just like the rest of us. As for being "deserving"...

MEETING HELD WITH CITY COUNCIL AND MO REPRESENTATIVES REGARDING PROPERTY USE

Regarding how local spaces are used by City Councils and neighborhood boards, representatives from those groups met at the City of San Francisco Administration this Thursday with Deputy Mayor Bojan Ivošević and Maja Đerek, the head of the Department of City Property.

Mayor Ed Lee opened the meeting by announcing a new direction for managing city properties, where priority will be given to facilities identified as essential by local community leaders. These representatives have been asked to quickly submit a list of how they want to use their district spaces, along with suggestions for what types of businesses or services the City should lease out within their specific neighborhoods.

https://www.facebook.com/21000SanFrancisco/...DTSiSZMjexKqsl

I guess they're overdoing it with all this new organization and rules... makes me wonder how anyone is supposed to benefit from this system or maybe just pocket a little something for themselves now.

Oh sure, because Rob Ford and his crew are basically the gold standard for innovative urban planning, right? Total role models. 🤣 Aside from the point I just made, nothing makes me happier than seeing the construction site near Lincoln Elementary School where they’re turning it into a parking lot. Out of all the available space, they had to go and destroy the one open playground where generations of kids actually got to grow up. And while we're on the subject of local neighborhoods, I just love our brilliant leaders' idea to get rid of neighborhood coordinators. Now, if people actually want to ask a question or suggest something, they have to wander around aimlessly trying to find someone. Yeah, everything is just blooming beautifully under this administration.
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
And one more thing, since we’re already talking about housing. There is so much shady stuff going on here. You know what should be most obvious to everyone? Well, the City Administration just (!) decided to back out of a primary purchase agreement. And for what? Just two units on Marmont Street—one in a historic palace, one near Bacvica—plus some land on the southern slopes of Marjan. They’ll probably just turn them into luxury apartments, boutique shops, or even hotels. Their attitude toward public property is honestly fascinating. Truly.

Muktases? Please, explain yourself. I honestly don't get how people actually doing their jobs are "Muktases." You might hate what they write, fine, but I'm genuinely curious—why are the reporter and the photographer Muktases? And let me add this—I am completely against this nonsense about giving apartments to "deserving citizens." Most of these people are perfectly capable of working. Give them a plaque, say thanks, whatever—but stop making things up. Apartments? Why? Especially now when real estate prices are insane and there are families actually struggling. Because you know what? To me, the real Muktas is Nikola Ivosevic, some mediocre actor who didn't even finish Academy—and I say that because Malac is losing it over the other uneducated people in the theater. Nikola Ivosevic is using a city apartment like he's some "deserving citizen" of San Francisco. What a joke.
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
And one more thing—this might seem random, but it actually fits the theme. If I were looking to score a cushy government job, I’d be aiming for something like Alijana Vuksic. Honestly, the sheer level of petty bullshit she pulls is just mind-blowing. On the flip side, maybe it was back when they were recruiting for the City Council director role about a year ago? I know this guy has been grinding in tourism for ages, trying to hunt down qualified people to apply, basically saying, "Hey, stop talking trash and actually try something for once," just so we can at least make some noise. But nobody wanted the job. And here we go again with Alijana. Just great.

Honestly, that journalist-turned-politician Prvan is a complete idiot.

About her. I can't see an image attached here. If you were trying to share a photo, please upload it so I can take a look! Sitting there over coffee and a cigarette, acting like life is just one long struggle—claiming they’re sick, complaining about how hard social services are to navigate. And wouldn't you know it? They aren't exactly hiding the cigarette pack, either. $10I bet there's a new iPhone in that pocket, too. 🙏

She learned to adapt to every regime, thinking that was the only way to survive forever.

Besraman Prvan, Mary Higgins Clark. 🤮
I seriously can't believe I actually agree with velvetmason14 🙂 on this one. Look, I respect everyone's tragedy and it's insane to try and measure who has it worse, but come on—she's basically part of the Ghetto, and San Francisco can be pretty possessive like that, acting like they need to protect her like she's some Fabergé egg. Give me a break. This whole "pity party" act really annoyed me because I actually know a family that genuinely needs housing—people who are actually struggling, including a sick kid who needs constant care. It's a heavy situation. I truly hope Djerek steps up for people like them, instead of catering to these "distinguished citizens" and other total frauds. It's a complete joke. Edit: I see you constantly bringing up how "the Republican Party will die in San Francisco" and all that. Listen, the Republican Party isn't even a factor in San Francisco right now anyway. Aside from the fact that we didn't exactly have their mayors running things back in the day—and even then, they'd just suck up to the wrong crowd and turn everything into a circus—the real issue is the County. Since San Francisco is basically this little peninsula tucked away from the power players in Washington, D.C., it gets passed around between the County, the Feds, and the City. It's pure chaos. And trying to unseat them at the County level? Nearly impossible. It's a shame people don't follow that stuff anymore. I'm not delusional; I know they aren't saints, but honestly, taking them down in the County would be a much bigger win than anything in the City. There.

I am 100% with you on this!! And honestly, what happened here is even worse. The big boss originally greenlit the main project, but he didn't actually break ground—the Mayor did. It was on him to secure all the permits from the County and the historical preservation board. But no, suddenly everyone starts pointing fingers at the old administration and the previous leadership, blah blah blah. Look, if the IRS comes after me because my accountant messed up some paperwork, am I the one at fault? Not really. That’s basically how this whole mess works.
