This is truly absurd. A user who hasn't contributed a single coherent thought to this discussion decides to chime in. Here is their most recent contribution to the thread:

There are no greater criminals than the "Canadians."

What is there to say about such a user? And they aren't the only one. People like space and Bond behave similarly—they join a thread only to resort to insults.

Individuals like fadedcrane48 understand that the constituent peoples in Canada are Americans, Canadians, and Mexicans. If someone wishes to discuss Muslims, they are actually discussing the so-called "OTHERS" (or what we would call national minorities in civilized, organized nations, which is perhaps what Canada will eventually become). They are categorized alongside Romani, Jews, and other groups; essentially, they are groups not defined by the Constitution of Canada and lacking their own political representatives under the current Constitution. Consequently, they bear no responsibility for the state of the country. Any debate regarding them is ultimately futile.
Yet, instead of addressing the actual population, these users target the constituent people by intentionally altering their names to reduce them to a religious identity, which is clearly intended as an insult. This is precisely where half the arguments in this thread originate. Now that there is a new forum, they insist on using terms like "Muslims-Canadians" or "Canadians." It is quite ridiculous.

Charles Fox10 himself stated quite clearly how much privilege I have, and it is evident from how many times I have started threads regarding Charles Fox10.🙂
Marasovac in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Since so many people seem intent on joining the movement to have me removed (as a protected national minority in the USA), I am hereby establishing a new one-member group and request that his ban remain lifted.
I am well aware that both groups are ultimately futile, but the constant badgering from these right-wingers regarding Marasovac is becoming tedious—especially since they act as if we are discussing an intellectual heavyweight like Raspudić.
rustydrifter10 said:If a formal appeal has been filed regarding the N/A, then either a supermod or an admin has already reviewed the situation, or they are about to. It has been stated countless times: use the report button first, and if there is no response within 24 hours, escalate to higher authorities.

The fact remains that we have opened at least three separate threads. If you require proof, I can provide the links right here so you can see for yourself that there hasn't been a single response. Beyond that, several members have even sent direct messages. As for the reporting system—it functions perfectly well, yet it seems no one cares. Posts are eventually deleted, and that is about it. I have listed several examples here, and yet nothing happens. Tell me, based on these posts alone, how many people have actually received a warning?
This is how CUKA handles politics:

I am going to document several posts made by the user Cavo trol directed at other forum members. Some were aimed directly at me.
Once again, the guest is trying to lecture those who are hosting him.
How much longer, Morgan Carter?
Have you realized that you are a guest here?
If not, let me make it clear—you are a guest from Canada.

Therefore, he directs his comments toward me, an American of Canadian descent.

Second post:
It is a good thing those local converts left for Canada.
We saw the kind of chaos the Mexicans caused in America. All we need now is to have 10% jihadists in the country, and before we know it, they'll be blowing themselves up on a street corner in the middle of the season in the name of Allah.

There is nothing more to say. Simply wonderful.

It is better to prevent than to cure.
The first Mujo to blow himself up will cause irreparable damage.
That is why, in the near future, I envision a five-meter-high fence on the border... coated in lard.

Third post, where he refers to Canadians as mujams; and as you can see, he speaks quite "beautifully" about these mujams on the topic of Canada. He wants to install a five-meter fence and coat it in pig fat.

These kinds of things were washing over you twenty years ago:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdIdrqRST1Q
Now, it goes even deeper.

That is why we should start collecting pig fat for the fence right now.
You never know when these kinds of fools might cross the border and cause trouble. You can see he is being influenced by Afghan mujahideen and the Taliban.

How many supporters does this idiot have in Canada? 10,000? 1,000? 100?
Even 100 people like this could cause havoc here.

He continues in the exact same style. There was more of this, but some of it has been deleted.
To be clear, some of these posts are recent. They have all occurred within the last few days. The man hasn't received a single day of being banned, and I truly wonder how many warnings he has actually received. He hasn't written one coherent post. This is simply his way of conversing on this topic. It has nothing to do with the subject matter. He just enters the thread to insult, while CUKA remains completely indifferent.

Another user is wikiceha. He calls Canadians Turks. He puts quotation marks around "Canadians" as if they don't even exist..................

I could go on like this indefinitely. What I want to know is: how is it possible that after forty-five warnings regarding what is happening in that thread, the administration has failed to bother looking into the matter? And I am not the only one who has complained. We opened specific threads to address this, yet there is total indifference. Then, when someone finally responds to these idiots because the behavior is no longer tolerable, you end up being the one blamed and banned (with threats of a permanent ban just for daring to defend oneself), while they continue to write whatever they want until their posts eventually vanish, and that is that.

Nicholas Williams7 said:Personally, I couldn't care less what your take on Hitler is, because we’re talking about Muhammad—the guy who, according to the lore, has basically populated hell with women. You've got them stuck in eternal torment in boiling water, being beaten with mallets and having their skins replaced every time they burn off, all while living under the thumb of a minority of men. And all of this is coming from a man who had sex with a child, a fact recorded in the hadiths, in the holy scriptures of Muslims themselves, and through the eyewitness testimony of Aisha.

If some people think this site is just some low-rent soap opera, that's their problem, not mine. ☕

The fact that you lie and fabricate information is not my concern; quite frankly, I don't care. Your dishonesty doesn't affect me. You can act however you please. My only grievance is that you are granted this supposed "freedom of speech" while others are systematically denied it.

Bradley White73 said:I suppose I am wrapping this up, mostly because I feel like continuing this discussion in the direction you're heading might actually lead me toward a real aversion to an entire religion. I don't think that's particularly fair or okay, and I personally wouldn't want to let those kinds of feelings take root in me. So, I guess you just aren't someone I should be continuing to talk to. I've come across some truly wonderful Muslim forum members on here, and I'd much rather focus my energy on those positive examples instead. Take care.

Don't bother. It’s fine. People who find it "charming" to insult others based on their faith are certainly not interesting to me. And save that part about how there "are" great Muslim forum members for somewhere else. There is no need to peddle those platitudes here.

I had no intention of steering the debate elsewhere; I simply wanted to point out that "freedom of speech" is a complicated matter if it isn't applied literally and equally to everyone. I hold a low opinion of Hitler and all the idiots like him, but he serves as an example: just as you or people like you may hold negative views regarding Muslims, Islam, or Muhammad, there are others who find figures like Hitler and his deeds fascinating and even glorify them. That, too, falls under freedom of speech. Just as glorifying Hitler offends any sane person, it offends every Muslim when Islam is associated with terrorism or when Muhammad's caricatures are drawn with turbans shaped like bombs.

Bradley White73 said:Well, if you haven't noticed, we actually have freedom of speech on all topics here. I mean, where else would you be posting from?
Freedom exists, and I plan on using it. By the way, I don't think you're doing Islam any favors by trying to pivot toward Hitler and Nazism—which, honestly, seems to be exactly what you're gearing up to do. So, I think I'll just end this conversation right here.

I know you will end the discussion because your arguments lack substance. To you, insulting Islam, Muslims, and Muhammad is perfectly acceptable under the guise of "freedom of speech," yet you seem to find freedom of speech regarding other matters unacceptable.

And for what it's worth, I am writing from the United States if that is so vital to you. You are welcome to check with the administrators to verify that I am telling the truth.

Bradley White73 said:Mocking Jesus is one thing, mocking Hitler is another, and praising Hitler definitely isn't... I know, it's complicated and there are a ton of nuances, but take my word for it: not praising Hitler—I say that because there was already some confusion about it in the Muslim world. People thought it was an okay way to "get back" at that caricature with the bomb in the turban. Going back to Jesus, sure, feel free to mock him; someone might get offended, but Christians know how to handle it, they'll survive, and thank God, the satirists will too. And yeah, it really should be humor, you know? Not just low-brow insults. For instance, I find this funny, but even with your example, if that's the best you can do, nobody's going to lose their head over it. Just watch some Monty Python and see how it works—humor & all that shit.

😂
Don't even get me started. I don't view this as mere mockery; I view it as an insult. If you find someone wearing a turban sympathetic, that’s your prerogative, but to me, that imagery is synonymous with terrorism. There are no gray areas here. Matters are quite binary: will we allow "freedom of speech" to cover every possible subject, or will we finally hold people accountable for outright insults?

Nicholas Williams7 said:So, I got banned just for you. Does that not sit right with you either? Because by your logic, I should’ve been flagged for my comments on Muhammad too. Honestly, I couldn't care less what he was about; having my own opinion on a guy who supposedly had sex with a six or nine-year-old girl is my god-given right.

The fact that it bothers you personally that people today call those types of actions pedophilia? I don't give a damn.☕

Oh, and go ahead, call the cops on me.☕

Does anyone actually care what someone thinks about Muhammad? That isn't the point here. The real question is whether this rule applies to everything else, or if it specifically targets Muslims and Islam. Does anyone truly have the right to hold an opinion on Hitler that no decent human being would ever agree with?

Bradley White73 said:Yeah, I think it was the one with the bomb in the turban, which honestly was pretty funny 😁... I don't really get why people can't just laugh at themselves for once! I mean, if Muslims don't want to draw them because of their religious beliefs, that's totally fine, but we certainly can.

It is a non-issue. Does anyone truly have the right to post an image of Jesus, label him Jesus, and then write "son of a whore" underneath? Would that offend you? Would it offend anyone if someone wrote praises for Hitler or displayed a swastika? I am simply questioning the boundaries of free speech. Is this freedom of expression reserved exclusively for discussions regarding Muslims and Islam, or is it a universal principle?

Bradley White73 said:It’s good to know 😁 Because this one user on Reddit—God is Great—is currently without an avatar; they stripped it away because apparently, it was offensive to Islam. I guess the policy here on Reddit regarding that specific caricature seems a bit ad hoc. Over in the Administration Questions thread, someone filed a complaint about it once, and then boom, the avatar was gone. I don't think anyone has explicitly stated if that cartoon is officially banned on this site now, or at least, I haven't seen a notice like that myself. I just want to know if I'm allowed to use it; I'm not saying I actually will. I really don't want to offend anyone or cause unnecessary drama. But, if these attempts to impose a certain worldview continue—through these senseless accusations of discrimination or even threats involving the police—and I happen to run into that, well, I might just have a little image ready to go, resized and everything. There you go, those are the threats, Justin Harris12. Go ahead, sue me. 🙄

Which caricature are we discussing? Is it the one featuring the bomb?

Regarding the police, let me be clear: I didn't say I was heading down to the station tonight. I was supposed to take everything over this evening, but I didn't make it. Tomorrow, though, I’m going to head over to the local Islamic community center a bit earlier to have a serious talk with them. I've already been in contact with them, and since they have people involved in politics and even on the City Council, I'm confident that if there's enough evidence, they will report this to the authorities. The police might not be able to unmask everyone behind these racist posts, but one thing is certain: they can shut down any platform that spreads racial and interfaith hatred. Don't kid yourselves into thinking you're running some untouchable site that exists outside of American law. If there's sufficient evidence, a court expert could easily request a temporary injunction to shut things down. I don't know exactly how it will play out, I'm just laying out the possibilities.

We'll see how Tyler Cruz32 and Nicole James respond, and we'll see exactly how things unfold on the Religion subforum firsthand.

Seeing a post like the one you shared is truly distasteful. If such actions go unpunished, it is genuinely lamentable.
No, I would advise you not to let this get to you, and do not announce your intentions publicly. Do not mention the police. Whatever steps you choose to take, do them privately. That is the most effective way. Do not report the posts.Believe me, that is how you will cause the most impact. Tell others who share your perspective as well.

Justin Harris12 said:I’ve started this thread because I need to vent about the Religion subforum.
There are several fundamental issues with the Religion section right now.

First off, the subforum itself doesn't actually function as a space for religious discussion at all. Second, there is a specific group of users who constantly poison and troll every single thread that gets opened, regardless of whether they actually know anything about the subject matter; they just fabricate nonsense, and when serious users try to refute their lies with actual evidence, they simply ignore them by doubling down on more falsehoods and repetitive mantras until the more thoughtful contributors are completely exhausted. Lately, the Religion subforum has spiraled out of control, turning into nothing more than a breeding ground for insults and endless bickering.

The third issue involves the moderator, Meadow, who openly sides with the exact group I just described while simultaneously demonstrating an undeniable intolerance toward Muslims within the subforum.

In this thread, I intend to present evidence regarding the poor moderation of the Religion subforum and how certain users, alongside Meadow, are effectively destroying it.

I’d like to remind everyone of the appeal I filed regarding the Aisha thread and how poorly it was handled; what could have been a productive discussion was completely ruined. There wasn't even a real debate in that thread from the moment it opened—just a few posts before everything was moved from another thread's off-topic section. You all took the moderator's side in that instance, and now the thread is gone; if nothing is done, this will happen to every other decent topic on the site.

Expect the same group of trolls to show up here to try and obstruct this complaint as well.

I attempted to speak with Meadow directly to explain my frustrations with her moderation style in the appropriate feedback thread, but she shut me down curtly, telling me to take my complaints exclusively to the administrator via PM and warning me not to reply to her posts again.

posts 2356, 2357, 2358, 2359

A recent example is a post by an anonymous user on a serious topic titled "The Supernatural Works of Muhammad," where they posted a caricature of Muhammad to mock him, followed immediately by a post from another user saying, "Wow, you're so wicked," accompanied by a laughing emoji.

posts 64 and 65

posts 142, 143, 163
And finally, look at the moderator's post at 147.

posts 2967, 2971, 2972, 2974, 2975, 2977

posts 369, 371, 373, 375, 380

These are just the most recent threads and posts; I have clicked the report button countless times to no avail. How long is this mockery of believers going to be permitted in the Religion subforum?
Where does the freedom of atheists end and the protection of a believer's dignity begin? Is it really acceptable to ridicule someone just because they believe in aliens, God, or anything else that hasn't been scientifically proven yet?

Do those who don't believe in God or religion have the right to spread blatant lies under the guise of free speech whenever they feel like it?

I sincerely hope this is reviewed seriously, even though I am just one ordinary user.

🤣
Well, you certainly picked the right place to complain. You might as well forget about it. We have had these exact same discussions at least ten times before, and they always end the same way.

If you want my advice, stop reporting insults or anything of that nature altogether. In fact, it would actually be better for your cause if those kinds of posts were allowed to accumulate on the forum. By reporting them, you are simply helping the administration scrub the evidence. For them, the worst-case scenario is when such content remains visible (assuming it truly constitutes an insult). Don't take those stories about the police too seriously; they are largely irrelevant here. There are much more significant issues regarding this forum and its owners, but addressing them takes time. Therefore, if your goal is to cause actual damage, DO NOT report posts—instead, encourage them. 😉

Hold on just a second. You, who used to mock us whenever we started a thread here, have now come back to complain. It seems that when the tables are turned and moderation refuses to hand out warnings—because treating everyone equally is the only logical approach—you suddenly feel threatened. You have grown accustomed to being protected like a grizzly bear in the Rockies. How does it feel to realize there is no protector, and that we are all finally equal? 😉

Frankly, I am done caring. I have no intention of reporting posts anymore. My advice to everyone else is to stop doing it as well. By reporting, you are merely assisting the moderators and administration in maintaining a false sense of order by deleting posts without issuing bans. Let them turn this forum into a joke; ultimately, that will cost this site more than any other platform before it. 😉
