As for what went down in that old thread, we probably would've jumped in ourselves if that one user hadn't mentioned having people on ignore. Personally, I know I would've spoken up, and I'm pretty sure a few others would have too—it wouldn't be the first time. Especially given some of the things that were actually said there.
And just to be clear, this isn't about taking sides in their little feud.

The formal request was overkill; just reporting the posts would have done the trick.

It’s such a shame to lock a thread just because two people had a run-in. This was a space where even our biggest forum rivals could trade jabs and mess around quite casually.
Everything is backward here. This thread should have stayed open as a perfect example of peaceful, active coexistence on this board. Honestly, my inner Gandhi is absolutely heartbroken.

But look, regardless of why this was shut down, some outsider might think our brand of banter is a bit much. For those of us actually posting here, though?
