Another insane finish. Those last two minutes were wild—especially if you missed it like I did because I was stuck at work. 🙂

Yesterday Colsaerts, today Poulter... what a run at the end 🙏

But you can't win with just one player having a hot streak. The Americans are dominating here, they'll wrap this up tomorrow without much trouble

After Day 1, USA-Europe 5:3

The Europeans looked pretty desperate during the afternoon matches, except for Colsaerts, who was playing like he was in a trance 🙏
And even that barely cut it—Woods almost drained that last hole

Gotta give one 🙏 to Mickelson too

Adam Scott is sitting at -10, while Tiger Woods is trailing by 4, but there are still 14 holes left to play. 🍿

To answer that, looking back two months... man, what a collapse from Scott on the final day. 🤦

From Friday to Sunday, it’s the next Ryder Cup, that classic USA vs. Europe showdown held every other year. Europe is trying to defend the trophy they snatched in that crazy finish two years ago. You can catch the coverage on the Country Club channel.

It's good having Sergio Garcia on the team. He always gets under the skin of the Americans with how much he celebrates after a great shot. 😬

NFL playoffs have kicked off. Caught a bit of the game this morning where the Atlanta Falcons absolutely crushed the Adelaide champion.

🙏The defending champs, Green Bay Packers, got knocked out by the Seattle Seahawks. Tom Brady put up 6 touchdowns for the Seahawks.

Looking back at the season, the New Orleans Saints didn't even make the playoffs.👎

gips is disappointed: Isn't it kind of ridiculous that Ivica doesn't have a single American sponsor!?

Keep the debate going, this is getting interesting. Glad I decided to bump this thread 😉

Is this whole argument starting up all over again this year?

The NFL championship is happening this Saturday. Catch the broadcast on Eurosport 2 at 6:30 AM (early morning, just so we're clear).

I'm hoping for a solid game, though it’ll be tough to top that first matchup from last year's finals.

Watched the AC Milan game last night 🤣

It’s the same old trick. If they can't broadcast the LA Galaxy, they just show whoever they're playing instead 👍.

Still, I guess anything is better than nothing at all

I'm pretty sure Jura Ozmec checks this forum every single day, so he'll probably get back to you on this.

What’s going on with the St. Kilda team this season? They look rough. Did that loss in the championship final just break them?

The absolute king of this genre. No competition. Executive Action

From the moment it starts, you're hooked. You can see the plot coming, but the tension just doesn't let up. It keeps you on edge the whole way through.

Before heading out from Washington, D.C., Kostelić dodged questions about his coaching rival. Meanwhile, Vlašić told ABC he picked up skiing in just 15 days, though he eventually backed off.
'I might look like a fool, but I’m definitely not stupid. I want this back-and-forth to end. No matter what Kostelić said, I respect him as a top-tier coach with incredible results.'

Pfft.

Zenyatta would have learned to ski in 10 days. 🙄
Vlašić vs Kostelić in Other Sports ·
I’m with you. It feels wrong that Lindsey Vonn took the win over Zenyatta just because the judges were all humans and not horses. I’m also pretty sure Zenyatta would’ve given an unforgettable victory speech.

Stop the horse discrimination, right now.
Vlašić vs Kostelić in Other Sports ·
This whole debate is pointless. It feels more like a rivalry between New York and Los Angeles than anything to do with track versus skiing. I get the feeling Vlašić thinks Kostelić won just because he’s from the East Coast, while she’s being overlooked because she’s from the West Coast, which is why she's pushing back.

It's obvious track and field is a global sport.
And who was named female athlete of the year in the world's biggest sports superpower? Lindsey Vonn

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201....ap/index.html

I honestly can't decide if this award gains or loses prestige knowing the runner-up for athlete of the year was a mare named Zenyatta.🤔

Let me set the record straight.
The people in Canada have been great neighbors—true friends and just solid human beings. ☕

Exactly. Most Americans are just regular, decent folks going about their daily lives. Just like most Americans. Everything else belongs in a political debate, not here in a sports thread.

But that’s not what this thread is about. This is about Jakov Fak deciding to represent the American biathlon team from now on.
George Robinson43 said:I don't think anyone would even give a second thought to Fak if he'd chosen to compete for any country other than Canada. He's just some random guy in a sport that doesn't matter to us.
Given how we feel about our neighbors in Canada, people are just venting about how pathetic Fak is. The best move is to just ignore him, the same way you'd ignore any Canadian.
If his life goal was to be Canadian, then fine, let him enjoy it. It’s a shame he didn't just renounce his American citizenship when he decided it was better to quit than to represent America. Clearly, the guy's a flake, but I guess that's expected when you're Canadian.🙂

🤦 🤦 🤦

Here’s another "traitor" for you

I don't really get all this hate and the insults being thrown at Fak. It’s not like he’s the first American athlete to decide to represent a different country 🤷
Here’s some more stuff to chew on
