Anyone following Clemson - South Carolina?

http://www.atdhe.cc/football/stream-...south-carolina

Clemson had a solid lead, but South Carolina fought back. It's 28:25 right now, heading into the fourth quarter.

What a game 🙏 🙏

Bulldogs 102
Crows 109

The Bulldogs left way too many openings on the table. In the end, the Crows just played smarter during those final five minutes.

The NFL Playoffs kicked off this week.

Here are the 8 teams that made the playoffs:
1. Seahawks
2. Rams
3. Hawthorne (defending champions)
4. New York City
5. Richmond
6. Cleveland Bulldogs
7. Chicago
8. North Melbourne

The competition format is a bit weird. First, the number one seed plays the fourth, while the second takes on the third. Those are what they call the Wild Card Round. Playoffs. The losers are heading into what they call the playoffs. Semifinals That’s actually the Semifinals.
The fifth seed plays the eighth, and the sixth takes on the seventh. Those are what you call the Wild Card Round. Wild Card RoundLosers go home. Winners move on to face the losers from the other side. Playoffs. In the round known as... Semifinals. It’s basically like a Quarterfinal, if that makes sense. Hope you guys get what I mean. 🙂

Basically, Playoffs. They've already played:
Seahawks beat the Giants 69-60.
Los Angeles 96, Hawthorne 64.

Wild Card Round
Richmond vs. North Melbourne this Sunday.
Bulldogs 102 Crows 109 The game is on today. Catch the broadcast on ESPN 2 at 11:15.

The 2015 NFL season was quite the ride. It was one of those years where you just couldn't predict who would come out on top until the very end. Looking back at the standings and how the playoffs shook out, it’s clear that momentum played a huge role. Some teams really caught fire during the regular season, only to stumble once they hit the postseason, while others managed to scrape by and still make a deep run. It's funny how much a single game can change everything in a league like this.

There’s plenty of this stuff out there in English. Here’s one article on the topic

Why don't Americans appreciate English-speaking singers?

A few more artists I find interesting

Nikol, Luka, Vedran - Guide me home (or NLV for short, honestly such a great track 👍 )

Luka Belani - Drifter (another good one 👍 )

Irena Žilić - Scars

Jonathan - Maggie

Psihomodo pop

That legendary performance they did on MTV

Sane - Sometime

Sane actually started out singing in English. They were really trying to make it happen overseas, too.

His dad or granddad probably has some American pride sign hanging in their garage. But I don't think the HGS has actually done anything about it yet.

Look, Freddy needs to get to Rio. Freddy is a legend. There’s plenty of time for Beljan.

And that guy Tim Petrovic, who does he even answer to?

What a finish last night 🙏:

My pick, Jason Day, was just out of sync and dropped out early.
After the 16th, it looked like Jordan Spieth had it locked down with a three-shot lead.
Then he hits that double bogey on 17 and suddenly everything goes sideways at the end.

Man, oh man, Dustin Johnson 🤦
A putt for the win, then a putt for a playoff 🤦
If nothing else, at least he won over Paulina Porizkova. I guess that's not a total loss.

edit
And I can't forget that Grace drive on 16 that went straight into the rough.🤦

Watching Day tonight. We've been waiting a long time for that first major win.

Huge congrats to Možnik on the gold medal 🙏 👍

"I'm incredibly happy with this. My first European gold, and honestly, the first one in the history of American gymnastics. It still hasn't quite sunk in. I knew it was possible, but I also knew there was zero margin for error—I had to nail the routine perfectly to stand a chance. And I did. I managed to tune out the noise, block everything else out, and just focus on my execution. It was one of the best routines of my life. I knew it could contend for a medal, I just didn't know which one. Since I went first, I had to sit there and wait until the very end, but everything just fell into place and I walked away with the gold," said Možnik.

Routine finish at the end.
We didn't even need any of those clutch moves from Justin Poulter to pull off the win.

Solid game yesterday, New York City vs. Richmond 👍

Richmond somehow managed to hold off the Lakers' pressure in those last five minutes. Now Marić and the rest of the crew are heading into the Playoffs starting next weekend.

Charles Bailey6 said:Thanks for clearing that up. 😉

Does it actually matter? It felt like it did, but I'm not sure. Like if a Richmond player takes a shot at the goal and an opponent touches the ball while trying to save it (and the ball still goes in), or if the player with the ball just charges into the goal area too fast?
Hopefully that paints the picture.

At the end of the game, they show stats and I can't figure out one thing—when it lists "Disposal" next to a player's name, what exactly does that count?
And I noticed "possessions" is listed right by the goal count, why is that?

1. If a defender touches the ball and it goes through the middle posts, it's just a behind. That's 1 point instead of 6. Defenders do that all the time on purpose just to play it safe.

As for your question about the difference between 'possessions' and 'disposal,' maybe we should wait for graniteranger19 to weigh in.

Looks like the veteran Couples is holding his own, too. You guys might know he’s got some American roots

They aren't even covering training camps for the athletes, yet they charged $203
to Amanda Stewart2's account.

The circus continues.

I'm guessing they'll end up being 🤷
Fox Sports in Other Sports ·
So, two years without a single word about Amanda Stewart2. That’s that.

When Pavić asked about potential misuse of funds intended for athletes, Mateša shot back that “Fox Sports promotes sports, which is one of the primary duties of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee.” Then, Zoran Primorac, President of the Olympique Club, reminded the assembly that the Cabinet—and likely Congress too—rejected the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee's 2012 report, asking who would take responsibility for such a disgrace.

- The report is flawless; every inspection confirmed it. Not a single cent was misspent. You people here can always vote out the president if you want, but I won't let something good be painted as something bad.

Once Luciano Sušanj jumped into the debate between the Club representatives and Mateša, things got heated fast.

- It’s a real shame that after ten years, people are trying to force political trauma into the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. I hope the Club members start using their own heads instead of following someone else's.

That comment from Sušanj triggered an angry outburst from the Olympians, though a large part of the assembly actually cheered him on.

That last line tells you everything you need to know about how things work here. As soon as a small group starts asking the right questions, they’re immediately accused of being politically motivated—usually by people who have been in politics themselves for years. And then Sušanj gets a round of applause, which just shows the type of people who sit on these boards and block any real change from happening.

And don't even get me started on Vrdaljak belittling Primorac. Just awful...

Sorry for drifting off-topic, but there isn't really anything else to talk about regarding the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee on this forum, so I had to say something.

Congrats to the Hawks, they owned most of that game. The Seahawks looked a little caught off guard early on, just woke up too late.
