Every single breath is worth its weight in gold

Sure, lighting up is fine every once in a while, but man, Gratitude is my ultimate high. It’s a rare kind of rush, though... and honestly? Most people are just addicts for it anyway.

Brian Young76 said:I wanted to say thank you once again to everyone for all your contributions to this thread; you have truly been such a massive help to me. 🙂

Yesterday, I spent some time working through exercises specifically designed to quiet the Holy Spirit, and I suppose my intuition is telling me that I should probably step away from writing and stop browsing the forum for a little while. I’ve decided it might be best to just listen to that feeling.

I'll check back in whenever I feel the need.

I hear you, sounds very nice. Congrats!

Honestly, you just gotta be grateful for everything. Everything is a choice, right? From who your parents are to the exact millisecond you were born, even the country you live in or what planet we're stuck on. It's all part of the deal. So yeah, just be thankful for it all.

Thanks 🙂
Caught completely off guard in Spirituality ·
Look, let's be real: there are massive hurdles standing in our way, preventing us from becoming who we truly want to be. No doubt about it. But at the end of the day, we're still the ones calling the shots in our own lives. Every single day, you get 24 hours to spend however the hell you want.

Reality starts from within, though, so

Everyone got the full package, honestly. It’s rare to see people actually pick through the options instead of just grabbing whatever crumbs are left over ☕

Lubaf isn't going anywhere. It’s just the way things are, plain and simple. ☕

So, are you saying reality is created by your mind, or someone else's, or a whole group of people? Man, that's just pure dogma. It's got zero connection to anything, no basis in science, logic, or actual rationality. Think about it—before any living thing with a brain even existed, there was non-living matter. That matter couldn't have been a product of some individual mind, right? It's actually the opposite: minds evolved from non-living matter (basically, life came from elements and raw material). Plus, "reality" and our *perception* of reality aren't the same thing. What you're talking about sounds more like someone's subjective take on things. Whether something is material or not doesn't change whether it's real (I mean, modern physics mostly deals with fields and stuff anyway). Reality doesn't care what anyone believes, does, or says. Reality stays reality regardless of someone's thoughts or actions—even if their *idea* of reality changes because of them.

ok 🙂

neonmarlin39 said:Look, both in philosophy and science, true creation means making something out of "nothing." Like, can you just manifest a brick, an atom, or electrical energy out of thin air? Nope. You can build a brick using elements that already exist under certain laws and conditions, but all of that stuff was already created. Same goes for an atom—you need protons, electrons, neutrons (plus all those quantum bits) and all the physical laws that govern them. Can you create an atom if those elements and laws aren't already there? It's pretty obvious that no human being, and honestly no creature at all, has the power to truly *create*. That's why in philosophy, we call God the Creator—the one who brought everything into being: all beings, elements, matter, time, space, the laws of physics, the whole universe. Humans can only work with what’s already been put together. It's like playing with Legos. You've got the basic building blocks ready to go (even if you don't know where they came from—maybe God made them, maybe they've always been here, maybe some crazy explosion just popped them into existence...) and you just rearrange them and play around with different combinations.

What you're rambling about is just Newtonian reality. Real reality isn't some material thing you can touch; it comes from within. But you clearly can't wrap your head around that, which is exactly why we're hitting a wall in this conversation. You're stuck behind these subconscious beliefs, whereas true reality is forged through thought, word, action, and even what you choose *not* to do.

You are your body, and God—if He even exists—is just somewhere out there, sometime. Whatever, man, it doesn't even matter. In the end, we're all 😉

neonmarlin39 said:But honestly? Humans and other creatures can't really "create" in the purest sense. That's why people call God the Creator. We’re mostly just mixing and matching stuff that's already out there.

Can you walk me through that a bit more? What exactly does "true creation" mean to you, and what kind of "pre-existing factors" are we even talking about here?

And where exactly is this God you're bringing up? If everything is just being rearranged, what is the actual "stuff" being used to build things? Is it bricks, flesh, atoms, energy... what's the raw material?

rustymaker5 said:Exactly. But that carries this massive weight of responsibility to actually shape your own existence, and honestly, most people just aren't ready to face that kind of reality. It’s much easier to just drift along and let someone else take the wheel, because then when things fall apart, you can just blame them instead of looking in the mirror... It's a kind of spiritual laziness that lets people play the victim role forever without ever having to grow.
And when you deny that creative force within yourself—when you hand over your agency to other people who claim to hold that same spiritual authority—well, unfortunately, that’s exactly what drives this world toward deeper division and inequality. It’s completely futile to sit around waiting for some higher power to swoop in and save us, because that power is already baked into all of us; it’s just a matter of when we finally wake up and decide how to wield it...
The planned game keeps rolling on, stretching out into eternity. 😍

If this whole thing is a game—and it totally is—then we’ve already been saved. 😍

That "higher power" isn't some distant thing out there in the clouds; it's us, right here, right now.

Responsibility = spirituality. 👍

Being yourself is just easier. 😁

rustymaker5 said:But how can you possibly claim that this urge to manage things and grab control is the sole reason we even exist in this physical realm? 🤔
What if that’s just one facet of how God exists? I mean, if God is truly absolute—existing within everything and containing everything—then man’s individual desires would have to hang on nothing at all unless they were fundamentally part of God's plan. Unless, of course, you're operating under the assumption that humans are somehow separate or detached from God...?😲

There is no such thing as human desire being outside of the divine plan. Period. Nothing exists outside of it. The whole point is that all conscious beings possess the power to create. And they do! The only real difference is how aware they are of that power and the massive Consequences of Creation.
Nowadays, most people are just creating a day dictated by their own karma and their past baggage. But it doesn't have to be that way. 🙂

Thomas Turner2 said:I honestly can't give you a definitive answer to that... though I think you already grasp that "union" shouldn't be taken quite so literally.

But what if we’re already one? Like, what if we should take that literally? Because that’s actually what science is starting to back up these days. People don't quite know how to wrap their heads around it yet, but the fact that we are unified—that we are one single entity—is no longer up for debate.

It’s all about finding that emotional balance. You have to clear out all that negative perception by actually understanding things and just... letting go.

Just be present right now. Be happy. Be satisfied. Because, honestly? You can do whatever the hell you want. Even with all those supposed "limitations" hanging over us, if things aren't working out, just try being more loving and more forgiving.
What do you think heaven looks like? in Spirituality ·
Look, we can all just plug in and connect while we're here, inhabiting these bodies. Since death isn't actually a thing, everything is basically paradise. Plus, you've got free will. Everyone lives in their own version of reality because, honestly, reality comes from within. Even when we "die," that internal reality keeps moving. That’s just how the universe works—it's a hologram. We're all interconnected with Everything, even if everyone's individual experience feels totally different.

Unconditional love is our true identity that we've just plain forgotten.
What do you think heaven looks like? in Spirituality ·
That’s just how it is. It's the natural order of things. If you’ve gotta die to finally make it into the "now," then fine, whatever—you can even skip the line and go right now.
Once you let go or fully embrace everything—every single thought, desire, and idea floating around in your head—all you're left with is paradise. 🤷
How to quiet your mind (meditation tips) in Spirituality ·
Look, you’ve gotta go out there and hunt for the answers to those heavy-hitting questions, right? Like, who the hell are we? Who am I really? What am I even doing in this life? Is there a God? Is there anything waiting for us after we kick the bucket? All that deep stuff. So just chill out for a second ☕

The truth is buried in the silence. You just have to remember
It leads us right here, right now, but let’s be real—we tend to wander off the path half the time anyway. So honestly? Don't sweat it. Whether we meant to or not, the mission is already accomplished. ☕
