redcrane28 said:I'm opening up a public auction for a meetup at Hungry Joe and maybe some carpooling. If you're actually down to hang out, someone smart please suggest a meeting spot beforehand. As for rides, I was thinking seriously about organizing something—not just figuring out trunk space, but making sure I can hit my stops on the way home, like passing through downtown. Everyone knows that's right on the way if we're heading toward the bus depot.

ruggedcrane22 said:Rimele teaches painting and sculpture at a teachers college back in the Midwest (plus he paints, obviously), though he was a bit of a late bloomer—graduated from the fine arts academy in Chicago at 28. If you’re looking for something good to listen to, check out those Laibach John Peel sessions where Rimele plays guitar. For those who don't know, Lacni used to call him a guitar prodigy; he started with the band when he was just 16, and by the time Ikebana came around, he was already being called one of the best guitarists in the country.

Jason Rogers said:Since we're talking beer, what's the deal with Karlovacka? Saw it at the store yesterday. As for Lacni, every one of their shows I've caught was killer. Especially that last set before Otto joined Laibach.
stormyviper11 said:I tried heading over there, or honestly, just hitting up Krama instead, but with this beer selection, the whole scene has basically moved to the other side of town. Amen rather than hallelujah.

Regarding that concert—it’s funny, less than two years after they finished that whole "25 Years of New Wave" series (which took two years itself), they're starting "25 Years of Kulušič." Feels like just a different name for the exact same thing. 😁

I'll make sure you don't get lost. 😁
I don't drink at shows, so I can give you a ride after—plus, I know the neighborhood, I'm over in Utrin all the time.
I'm grabbing my ticket tomorrow; things are a little tight right now, but I'll manage.
