I gave it a shot in Google Chrome, and honestly, it’s the exact same mess. But for some reason, everything works perfectly fine over in Microsoft Edge. 🤔 So, is this just some weird setting buried deep within Mozilla that I've messed up? Is there any way to actually figure out what's going on, or am I just stuck forced to use Edge from now on?
Hey there, I’ve been using Google Docs for a few years now—on my phone, my desktop, and my laptop—but over the last couple of weeks, things have gone totally sideways. Every time I try to copy and paste from one table into another on my laptop, even when the formatting is identical, all the vertical lines just vanish in the destination table, leaving me with nothing but horizontal ones. I’ve tried messing around with the various "paste special" options, but honestly, none of them work; it’s like the paste command doesn't even register, so I just end up hitting "ctrl+z," which then wipes out the existing table lines that I now have to manually fix. The weird thing is, I don't run into this at all on my phone, so I'm completely stumped as to why this is happening.
On top of that, even before this mess started, I noticed that sometimes the formatting I’m pasting—like centered text or word wrapping—just gets ignored, even though both tables are set up exactly the same way. It doesn't happen every single time, just randomly...
So, if anyone actually knows what the hell is going on here, please help a person out.
Does anyone here actually own this specific model? I’m trying to get a sense of what the battery life is really like. From everything I’ve been digging up online, it seems like battery longevity isn't exactly this thing's claim to fame, though it’s supposed to at least give me 4 or 5 hours of juice. To give you an idea of my struggle: this morning, I lost about 50% of my charge in just an hour and a half of basic typing and browsing on Google Chrome—no heavy video streaming or anything taxing. I have this nagging feeling that I should probably drop it off at a repair shop, but honestly, based on all the headaches I've had dealing with smartphone batteries in the past, I'm terrified it’ll just be a massive waste of time. The laptop itself is practically brand new; I only picked it up about two months ago. What’s your take on dealing with Dell service centers? Where is the best place to take it if I decide to go through with this?
This whole thing is basically my dissertation... I’ve been running these trials for five years now, and since I couldn't find a single decent volunteer willing to step up to the plate, I figured I’d just sacrifice myself for the sake of scientific progress 😁. The people of the future will eventually look back and actually appreciate this, because once they solve this problem, my struggle won't have been for nothing.
I’ve got a feeling I’m already late to the party... it’s been five days now 😲. At this point, all I can really do is pull a move similar to what I did last time things went sideways—you know, like when I showed up to that Motley Crüe concert wearing nothing but my underwear 😵... I guess I'll just sit here and wait 🙂
👋 Hey everyone... so, I managed to smash my thumb with a hammer (long story short), and now about an eighth of my nail is turning this nasty shade of dark red from the blood pooling underneath. What’s the move here? 🙂
Is there any way to actually drain that blood without basically performing amateur surgery on my own finger, or am I just stuck waiting around for the nail to eventually fall off 🙂 ?
Does anyone actually know of a decent DVD Player that’s totally free and doesn't suck (man, look at me being a regular wordsmith 😁 )? I've been scouring the web, but everything I stumble upon turns out to be some cheap shareware garbage that starts glitching out after you've watched just a few videos, and honestly, I didn't see a single legitimate freeware option on the forum's list—unless I'm just a complete moron 😵 )

Ahhhh, you mean that total homoerotic fever dream? You've got the singer spinning around in his underwear on some giant wheel while a bunch of half-naked tribal guys—who clearly weren't trying to appeal to the average crowd looking for some actual curves!—just sprint around aimlessly... It’s weird, isn't it? 😁
It’s simple and totally free Once you finally dial in those settings to 200*150, you don't have to deal with all that annoying tweaking every single time. 🙏

👍 🙂
And I'd throw Crimson's Epitaph into that mix too.

😠 You lucky bastard, mine is completely falling apart at the seams, and now they won't give me a new one for the hell of it... oh well, I guess I'll have another shot in three months. 🙂

👋
And regarding getting paid for it—doesn't one of those flyers mention somewhere that if you want, they can actually reimburse you with cash 🤔 or did I just completely misread that? 😕
