Entering a trance state during meditation? in Spirituality ·
Joseph Ortiz26 said:I certainly hope your objectives aren't all quite this simplistic.

For me, entering an altered state of consciousness is anything but a simple matter.

Joseph Ortiz26 said:And how exactly does one combat falling into a trance state during meditation?

I don't. That is precisely the objective, isn't it?

I am constantly plagued by the fear that you might actually end up reading this. 🤣

Since I own the works of Slavinsky, Crowley, and Grant, I am more than capable of sourcing my own "quotes" without assistance.

What I am actually interested in is whether you possess any direct experience—perhaps some form of genuine insight or revelation—that actually validates the claims you are making.

I have never once heard such a claim. What possible reasoning could you have for thinking they are identical?

Karen Sanchez19 said:So why don't you explain to the rest of us how one actually travels using just an image?😁

You are traveling into inner worlds.

Besides, why would any sane person bother explaining anything to you when we all know you'd just spend the next second spamming this entire thread with your "expert insights"?

If you actually understand what there is to be afraid of, then why don't you enlighten us? Walk us through this journey using a visual aid. And while you're at it, perhaps you could recommend some actual methods for protection.

I caught it yesterday. It’s a decent enough film, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it anything special. The concept feels incredibly recycled—honestly, we've seen this exact premise played out countless times before—but I will admit the atmosphere is striking, and the musical score is absolutely top-notch.

Look at it this way: in the real world, when someone completely runs out of actual arguments, they inevitably resort to nothing but profanity to close the conversation. It’s the ultimate sign of intellectual bankruptcy. 😉

Ultimately, you know exactly what’s happening to the Tower and its residents within the realm of Tarot. 😁

The only thing you’re missing now is a touch of Tower Craftsmanship in your hands.

Given my spiritual convictions, I find such things utterly pointless to engage with, which is why I’ve chosen to stay completely out of the loop.

That being said, I am certain that the local trade school will manage to shake loose a few amateur hacks, seeing as absolutely nobody ever bothers to visit the place.😁

This is an exceptionally difficult decision to make.

Usually, I can provide answers to forum polls instantly, but this marks the first time I have actually paused to give any serious thought before committing to a response. 😁

I finally sat down and watched it.

A complete waste of time.
Movie theaters are dying... in Movies ·
Everything in San Diego went downhill a long time ago.

There’s this one theater where the sound system is even worse than the line I waited in just to drop $400. Between the terrible picture quality and those incredibly uncomfortable seats...

If I actually want to watch a movie properly, I have to drive all the way to San Francisco.

It's honestly pathetic.

I just finished watching this. Honestly? Boring, just incredibly boring... I only sat through it because I genuinely believed a film starring De Niro couldn't possibly be a snooze-fest.
Round 2 in Movies ·
While I consider myself someone who can stomach just about anything... Ring 2 is actually a pretty terrible movie.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone. My "spiritual" circle is limited to just a handful of people. However, if anything comes up, I will certainly let you know.

Fazlija said:Since we are on the subject of spiritual practice, what exactly does one consider to be the core daily practices within Magic? How does a student select them? Is there a structured system in place, or does everyone simply pick whatever technique resonates with them?

I am no longer involved with Magic, if one can even put it that way😉.

I am pursuing different paths now, but while I was active in it, the daily routine would involve things like tracing pentagrams, performing invocation hexagrams, and perhaps tarot meditation. From there, one moves on to more demanding rituals. A specific training plan was provided following every initiation.

If you want my opinion, you should look into Magika without Tears or the Book of Wisdom or Madness.

Personally, I find the Book of Wisdom or Madness to be his absolute finest work.
