What you believe, you manifest in Spirituality ·
Norris said:Specifically, the premise that outer space (God, a higher intelligence) supports everything we believe in, such that
"whatever we believe in becomes true for us".

In other words, that through our thoughts, attitudes, emotions, words, and actions, every single one of us constructs our own reality.

Where on earth did you get that thesis?

If you ask me (and several others), we are the ones supporting what we believe in.

Invoking some sort of "higher" intelligence is nothing more than a mental game played to dodge the weight of personal responsibility.

Hm, those are undoubtedly individuals who haven't engaged in intimacy for far too long, causing their primal drives to resurface in such grotesque, distorted ways. 😁

...or perhaps...

"liber Boomerang"

When a god is neglected, a demon is birthed.

Do you truly believe you can inflate your own ego by cannibalizing the essence of others?

Whatever is suppressed does not vanish; it merely gathers strength, searching for bizarre and unforeseen ways to manifest itself in reality.

Deny Death and other forms of suicid will Aris.

Deny Sex and bizzarre forms of its expression will torment you.

Deny Love and absurd sentimentalities will disable you.

Deny Aggression only to star eventually AT The bloody Knife in Your shaking hand.

Deny honest Fear and Desire only.

Deny Laughter and The World laughs AT you.

Deny Magic only to become a confused robot.

😁 😁

My IQ, EQ, and SQ are significantly more substantial than anything you’ve listed here....😢 😳

So, can I at least admire you from a distance? 😕 🙏 🙏

Hmm... what if I added maybe another two inches? 🙂

Please... people can fake those kinds of metrics just as easily as they can pretend to be intellectuals. 🙂...you know, hit the gym for a bit, wear some tailored clothes, put on some makeup, dim the lights, grab a specific bottle of craft beer, wait until late at night, and start rambling about some profound concept from the book "tenth insight." Just like that, you're a masterpiece.

Or, you could just cast a little "shape-shifting" spell and call it a day.

Or, most simply, don't take me seriously. 😁 😁

Solaris said:So, what you’re implying is that you’re actually afraid of wicked witches?
😁
And the havoc they wreak? 😁

You’ve got two options here:

a) the "fluffy" kind
b) the truly wicked kind

Well?

😉

Oh, please. I am incredibly careful about my choice of words. My concern isn't with the people frequenting certain places, but rather with the nature of the places themselves. 😉

However, if I am strictly forced to choose, I suppose I would opt for a certain aesthetic perfection—regardless of whether that beauty is lighthearted or dark and sinister. And if I find myself in need of an intellectual conversation? I’ll simply have one with myself. 😁

Honestly, what you really need is a properly wicked Witch 😉 😈 😛 😁

Perhaps one could potentially be found wandering some desolate hill near a cemetery under the light of a full moon in the dead of night. However, I am far too much of a coward to ever set foot in such places.😁

I live in blissful ignorance. I spend my days hunting down those flaky Witches in the local city parks, weeding out the amateur Reiki practitioners, attempting to cure people of their sudden bouts of enlightenment, and so on.

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, though I suppose you might actually have a point there.😎

Allow me to offer a brief quotation of my own for the sake of argument:

Edward Patel81 said:Haha, dustywolf13, don't let these two cynical witches, Buffy and Copernicus, throw you off your game!😁

Unfortunately, you're asking such silly questions that they were practically itching to knock you down a peg.😁 😉

No, no... that was merely a test...

I am akin to a demon on the path to enlightenment (if I may be so modest). If my cynical remarks can baffle someone, they'd better quit now rather than becoming even more confused by wading through a mountain of garbage trying to extract something meaningful or concrete from it.

P.S.

Ah, I chose the handle Ryan Wilson2 thinking it was an elegant, significant, and multi-layered symbol of the Great Work, and what happened? As fate would have it, I became Buffy, the vampire slayer...😉

Now, tell me, what is the actual point of being a Witch on Elm Street, and how does one even begin that journey? Is there such a thing as black and white magic, or is the whole concept merely a myth?
What steps would I need to take to become a warlock (if that is indeed the correct term)?😕

It comes down to study and labor—endless, relentless work...

As for types, you have black, white, red, green... asking that is like asking someone how many different brands of beer exist.

A warlock? Well, there’s that one guy over there; he’d probably be your best bet for an answer.

If your goal is simply to go out and hunt for thrills, it might be far easier to just buy a high-performance motorcycle or a fast car. 😁

Analysis and synthesis—that’s what is inscribed on my avatar’s hands.

First, you must master the fundamental components (analysis represents the intellect), and then you blend them together (synthesis represents the spirit).

Where exactly do you see laziness or a fear of change in this?
Change is inevitable unless you have intentionally concreted your spirit into a single, stagnant position.

In my view, "correct" behavior and living a virtuous life do not constitute spiritual practice; rather, those things should be entirely normal, everyday occurrences, and they don't actually facilitate any real transformation. They are merely the byproduct of genuine spiritual work.

Real change occurs through the active exploration of the spirit, not through mere thinking, meditating on corpses (well, what can I say when I'm still under the influence of a certain book?), summoning Goetia demons, Enochian angels, meditation, asanas, mantras... controlling the body, calming the mind, shocking the ego... in short, actually *doing* something instead of drowning in a swamp of pleasant thoughts, "good" behavior, and walks in nature.

I recently heard about a Wu Wei practice that involves physical striking by participants, working in a pool, and so on. Of course, I assume there are meditative aspects as well, but at the beginning, one must always attack the body before attacking the mind.

Perhaps I am simply too radical and practical—who knows.

It isn't half bad, really. We all know that certain spiritualists resort to extreme methods of self-flagellation to find penance. Some people choose to whip themselves, while others simply decide to wander onto a subreddit.😁

Well, you’ve cluttered this thread with nothing but spam, clearly hoping I wouldn’t notice such blatant laziness. It’s a clever little mental game, isn't it? A way to mask your lack of productivity and your utter refusal to embrace change.

Since I choose to live strictly according to my own philosophy, I generally remain solitary; consequently, I have fewer opportunities to practice it on others. Take Blaise, for instance, with his "farting at the KRC" philosophy.

Taking responsibility for one's actions should be the baseline behavior for any mature adult, just as living true to one's personal philosophy should be. In my view, most ailments stem from a failure to uphold such standards in daily life.

Ahhhh....never mind...let us return to our mindless chatter. Perhaps the Immortal has some interesting topic worth discussing.😁
