First you gotta decide if you want BS or BV, 'cause from where I'm sitting, looks like you're more into the BS (all that constant grinding)... 🤷

Does anyone know if there's a decent club around the hills area?
Zachary Mendoza17 said:That’s true. Using the technique I mentioned before, you really ought to improvise with a lunge or perhaps a lead jab to create space, making that rear punch much firmer. Basically, I wasn't just talking about hitting from a stationary stance. You adapt the technique to the ball and the available room. But honestly, how can one explain how to strike the ball without wrecking your own hand? 🤷 🙄
p.s. By the way, the record on this forum belongs to Daniel Garcia. He didn't just hit it; he practically dismantled it and consumed it. Right there in front of a horrified crowd and a bunch of little kids.

I mean, what can I even say? Total stupidity on my part— 🙄 I went ham on one of those boxing machines you see hanging out in dive bars, thinking I was actually gonna chase down some record... but right after the first hit (which was my first time ever using one), my knuckle started throbbing. Instead of being smart about it, I went ahead and smashed it two more times with everything I had 🙄 (obviously, the scores on the next two were trash. For context, the first hit clocked in at 185, while the record was sitting at 192)
The next day was absolute hell, probably when it hurt the most. Since the third day, it’s been a week, and honestly? It feels pretty much the same as it did back then. I’m just not seeing any real improvement here.
It doesn't kill me during normal daily stuff, but if I put any actual weight on it—like doing pushups or trying to stretch the joint—the pain comes rushing back. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of nonsense? How long does this usually take to clear up?

Man, I really hope we see a fresh wave of heavyweights with some actual heart in the next few years. It’d be nice to actually watch the division again and not know what's coming. Fingers crossed...

I know someone would probably suggest a "lighter" sport, but I really want an actual combat skill to deal with all the stress I'm carrying—it feels like the better fit. I just hope those Krav Maga centers group people by strength level, because I’d rather not get bodied by some powerhouse lady during my very first session.😲
Daniel Garcia said:Man, wrestling is an incredible sport—seriously a killer workout.👍 It’s such a shame people sleep on it. Honestly, my biggest life regret is not starting wrestling or judo when I was a kid—my folks thought it was just "meathead stuff"—so I wasted so much time on Shotokan karate and Taekwondo instead... 😢

Sure, go hit up some local MMA gym and then come back and tell me how much better it is than running or whatever... if you really want to be that wrong.🙂
Daniel Garcia said:Just try both—then you'll see they're both exhausting, just in different ways.
As for that last bit, here's an example 🤦. Wrestling is basically all anaerobic training. ☕
