John Smith and stalking in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Rachel Richardson said:Is there any way to put an end to this kind of stalking?

The man is a moderator, for heaven's sake. 🤦
Just a little bit of discomfort—maybe even a grain of it? 🤔

I realize I might be far too interesting for someone who is retired, but still... 😒

Good grief, that is the price of fame.
Who wouldn't find a guy from Mensa fascinating? Someone who speaks—pardon me, *speaks*—five or six languages, works in Information Technology, yet still finds the time to spend all day bluffing idiots into believing he’s an expert on everything under the sun, all while financing a wife and two or three children? It's quite a feat.
How can you not grasp that you are simply irresistible? For instance, Clark Kent and Superman are two different people, yet you manage to accomplish twice as much useful work in a single day using nothing but a single forum profile (to say nothing of your other identities). And don't even get me started on Peter Parker; he would have been kicked out of school ages ago.

If you truly don't want to be a local forum attraction, then perhaps start living a real life. A young man as intelligent and successful as you surely wouldn't face anyone like some random bluecyclist64 or Smith in the real world.

But clearly, that real life is so joyous and effortless that you feel the need to escape into a world of fantasy...🥳

John Palmer9 said:What strikes me as most bizarre here is moderator Orsić claiming he was a free speech advocate thirty years ago. Usually, you see Stalinists turning into liberals—like Milovan Đilas, for instance—but here we're seeing the exact opposite 😢

Freedom of speech is not the same thing as the freedom to spread propaganda and disinformation.
Perhaps it bothers you that you have to constantly camouflage your hatred for communists and partisans, along with your affection for Italian fascists, by using this pseudo-equal standard for everyone?
Is it freedom of speech when you distribute pamphlets from extremist, far-right media outlets? Did Smith (not Orsić, though he's old—Zoki was far too impulsive when he joined the Thule group) pick you off at Bleiburg because of that, or did he at least toss you onto Gol Otok?
Arthur Smith15 said:Oh, please, stop crying over spilled milk regarding the (un)presence of some anonymous user on a message board. 😁

So, are you actually gone this time, unlike those few times previously when you typed "Goodbye"? Or are you just sticking around 😁until the thread finally gets locked?😁

Honestly, I’d love to contribute something meaningful here, but I think I’ve finally lost my mind.🤣
Frank Foster6 said:Wikiceh just isn't worth the time anymore. Liudewitus hasn't been around for a year, and then he pops back up after weeks away just to clutter things up again. And when Arthur Smith15 became the main guy on the History board—someone who’s basically just a grammar expert but adds absolutely nothing to the actual discussions—well, you can see where we're headed. Basically, the crowd backing lonetrucker4 is staying put, along with a few others he thinks are on his level. It’s all just one big circle jerk. Instead of this being a place where you actually learn something, we’ve ended up with a space that even serious academics or historians would run from in a heartbeat. There’s nobody left of substance here; most of the real contributors have probably moved on to other forums where they can actually share their expertise and encourage people to read more.

You'll get your turn too, so watch your step. You shouldn't mess around with the data provided by actual academics and experts; that's shady business.

We'll be back one day, mark my words, one day.

I've been telling you all this time that the forum is too broad for you. You have the Alternative sub-forum, so why not head over there and rant to your heart's content about non-existent Mexicans or drawing Flat Earth maps? Why waste your time here when you can just stress yourselves out over nothing, especially since hardly anyone notices your "natural talent" for ignoring facts and methodology?*

I'm being serious; over in the Alternative section, you'd be absolute superstars with your massive midichlorian counts.

One day we shall return, one day.

God forbid you actually become useful—will the thick fog roll in again?
Why don't you go take a walk alongside that ridiculous signature of yours?

Christian Myers said:It’s honestly such a bummer when high-quality members leave—especially from that PDF thread.

American (as our friend Đuka would say)—you're definitely going to be missed. Catch you next time—hopefully sooner rather than later. 👋

So, you're a history professor? Well, bravo.
You're living proof of how much the Republican Party has gutted society in every sense, particularly the intellectual one.

Signature: the rude fellow who gets away with calling people "air-flappers"...🤣

* As Arsen Dedić once said regarding Miš Kovač: "Pure charisma, completely unburdened by talent..."🤣
From a linguistics perspective: "five hundred and fifty."
Can we please get it through your heads that this subforum is called History, not "Selling out your dignity for pennies"?🥱
Battle of Stalingrad (2015) in Movies ·
A friend of mine, someone who isn't even part of this forum community, sent me a link to this movie today. He included a note insisting that the film is nothing short of genius and that I absolutely have to see it...🤣

brightheron64 said:Beyond the mere spectacle of war, what we're actually seeing is a character study—a drama tracking the transformation of a cheerful, unassuming young woman into a total Predator (though, thankfully, she doesn't physically mutate into some two-meter tall green monster with terrifying jaws).

Uploaded in 1080p!

If you have the option to "Watch from the beginning," check out PBS.

Thanks, everyone!👍

I'll give it a look when I get a chance, but honestly, the Enemy is nothing more than nauseating political propaganda.
If you happen to have a link for a torrent, shoot it over to me via DM—I certainly wouldn't complain.

Then what else would you call him?! Some kind of hermaphrodite!?

Honestly, if I could just manufacture my own logic inside a pill, I’d be more virile than anyone on the planet. Forget those overpriced hair regrowth serums...🤣

stormytiger4 said:I’d wager this was just some perfectly standard post regarding women that the Reddit moderator—given their notorious reputation for hating men and undermining the male struggle for equality—decided to delete or sanction for no legitimate reason at all.

I certainly get why you feel the need to stick up for a former colleague, but let's be realistic: he was born and raised in a city infamous for its intolerance and its systematic targeting of men.
I mean, it isn't called Dick Hunter City for nothing, right?🤷

Personally, I found things much more convenient back when the 3.5'' drives first hit the scene; I could just pull one out of my shirt pocket looking as smooth as Hugh Hefner...🙂

Jessica Morris6 said:Even so, it still leans into being intentionally ridiculous trash and doesn't really predict anything. It was filmed back in 2006, during that specific era when everyone was first starting to get completely numbed by technology, making it a true product of its time...

Let’s be honest—your argument actually serves as proof of how much of a visionary the director truly was.👍

Competition.
I noticed it myself, though I couldn't quite fix it in the moment—I got distracted by something else while I was typing up my previous post.🙂
Enjoy it while you can; opportunities like this don't come around very often...🥳

What good is intelligence when you're constantly surrounded by five idiots? Seriously, someone please explain that to me.🙂

I suppose I’ll manage, once I'm surrounded by four more of Douglas Gray8's followers...🤣

Douglas Gray8 said:It seems you believe my life is an uphill battle, but I assure you, I find that assessment rather misplaced. Life, by its very nature, presents a series of complexities and inevitable frictions, yet I have learned to navigate them with a certain level of detachment. It isn't about things being "easy" or "hard"—it's about maintaining one's composure when the gears inevitably grind.🙂

Exactly.

Go ahead and enjoy that blissful ignorance while you can. There isn't an ounce of chance that you'll ever evolve into anything resembling true intelligence—whether we're talking about organic thought or artificial systems.🙂

The only logical conclusion here is that Skynet has finally achieved true self-awareness and is systematically eliminating any competition in the field of high-level intelligence—including the organic kind.

Honestly, I have to hand it to you—your definition of what constitutes a "liberal agenda" is certainly unique. Personally, I find those Western ideological fabrications just as exhausting as anyone else.👍
That said, I’m not particularly thrilled about the proposal to swap out standard emojis for GIFs. If you're going to push for change, at least be consistent; there's no sense in being a half-measure conservative when it comes to digital aesthetics...

Feel free to lock this thread. I appreciate everyone being so open to the discussion.

You seem a little too obsessed with my private life for someone who identifies as gay, but whatever...😒
Hopefully, the local crowd doesn't decide to run you ragged...🤣
