The Corsair power supply is fine. Honestly, I highly doubt the PSU just decided to die at the exact moment I loaded the Bank 1 settings in the BIOS. If it were actually underpowered, it would have struggled even after I disconnected all my hard drives and both graphics cards...
It’s running on a 650W unit. I don't think it's an issue with the power supply itself, since it worked perfectly fine for years before suddenly just refusing to boot one day...
It all started when I didn't realize my reset button had actually gotten stuck in the depressed position. Because I didn't notice, I ended up holding down the power button by mistake. This caused my BIOS to reset, which is pretty standard behavior for my motherboard. The trouble really kicked in after I entered the BIOS and loaded my saved profile from slot 1 (that was literally the only thing I did before the system completely died on me). Now, after a restart, the BIOS won't even initialize. There’s no startup beep, the monitor shows no signal, the drives aren't spinning up, and the debug display just sits there at 8.8. before the whole thing restarts itself every 5 to 10 seconds... I've already tried resetting the BIOS using the physical button and the jumper, and I even pulled the CMOS battery for a few minutes to clear everything out. I went through a whole process of elimination: I disconnected all three hard drives and the DVD drive, pulled both GPUs (the GeForce 8800 GTX) and tested them one by one, removed the Sound Blaster Xtreme, and tried every possible component combination. Eventually, I stripped it down to just the motherboard, CPU, and RAM. Nothing worked. The only thing I haven't tried yet is buying a brand-new battery to replace the current one, which I'm planning to do tomorrow. Does anyone have any other ideas on what I could try to get this machine running again? My motherboard is an ASUS ROG Crosshair

The ads take up way too much room, especially on higher resolutions. Since the forum itself has a fixed width but the ads don't, if you're running a 1920x1200 setup, those ads are taking up nearly 50% of your screen width...
I actually met one of my absolute best friends online—and as an awesome little bonus, I ended up becoming close friends with his sister, too. But then, of course, you also run into a massive crowd of total idiots along the way. It really just goes to show that the internet is exactly like real life... everything just depends on who you happen to cross paths with...

Well, if they aren't genuine, then they aren't genuine. If you buy a pre-built PC with Windows already installed, the retailer is supposed to provide you with the installation media if they're providing the software at all...

I honestly don't see the point in all this massive effort to protect software when they can't even keep it secure for more than a few days...
It feels exactly the same as the whole situation with video games and people hunting for cracks.
I mean, if you don't own the legitimate version, you can't even apply the patches for the game. Instead of this complicated mess, they should just require a serial number. That way, if you actually want technical support or want to play online, you'll realize you need to go out and buy the original...

I actually used 3.26 myself once, but honestly, it was such a headache... Since my catalog had been built using version 3.03, the newer software just wouldn't import it properly. After a little while, everything just vanished into thin air, leaving me with no choice but to restart WhereIsIt from scratch and rebuild the entire catalog... what a mess...
The only thing is, whenever I try to load a DVD into my Media Library, the program just crashes immediately—it's almost like I accidentally hit the close button or something...😕 I've tried it a few times now and nothing works, though it handles CDs just fine.👍
I’ve got about 70 GB of music total, but I can only fit about 6 or 7 GB on my Hard Drive right now... man, there's just no more room, it's a pretty small drive.😢
I'm running version 3.03b and I haven't run into any issues at all.
