I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
I was lurking around the forum for a bit and honestly, I decided I could definitely use to drop a few pounds. So, I started watching what I eat, and for exercise, I picked rollerblading—I’ve always thought it looked so cool, so I figured, why not? I grabbed some skates and told myself, "Okay, let's just cruise around the neighborhood today and see if I actually have any talent." Turns out, I don't. 😁
I started off pretty cautious, but after about 20 minutes I felt brave enough to tackle this hill, thinking, "Yeah, I got this!" (The hill was actually kind of intense, maybe a -2% grade 😁 ) and then—zooooooom—right near the bottom, pure panic set in. Like, oh my god, what am I gonna do?! (I was probably hitting like 3 mph, nothing sensational, but I couldn't exactly stop, so panic mode engaged) and I ended up just throwing myself into the grass, basically pulling a move like James Bond getting tossed by an explosion... green hands, muddy pants, and the entire park laughing their heads off at me 🙂) Whatever, I'm heading back out this afternoon!
okay, fine—I'll admit it. Aside from that one "Black guy dies because some supernatural crap is hunting him in a mansion" scene, I haven't watched anything else since... mostly because Chris is such a total moron that I can barely stand watching him on screen. Thanks for the wake-up call, I guess! 🙂
Did I totally hallucinate this, or did someone on TV during Beowulf actually go out in a blaze of glory only for them to toss him into a plastic body bag like some scene straight out of CSI? And then—get this—they just zip it up with a freaking zipper 😲
😲 That’s just awful!! How can you even let stuff like that happen?? Anyway, I feel like I’ve heard just as much hype about the big screen as I have people complaining about two minutes of missing audio—and apparently some movies getting trimmed down too, which honestly shocks me—because Total Film totally got me hyped up to head to AMC Theatres (though, sadly, I haven't actually made it there yet to see if the projection quality lives up to the buzz or not).

I think I read somewhere that Quentin Tarantino mentioned he used to try counting the casualties during early filming—but then he totally lost track and just gave up halfway through Kill Bill Vol. 1 😁

Sorry, I actually have no clue on the price—I downloaded it online ages ago—but man, it didn't really hit me properly until I finally sat down and watched the movie.

"Sky, Satellites" is actually a pretty solid watch—honestly, it’s the first war movie I’ve seen lately that didn't immediately get on my nerves. The cinematography is gorgeous, too. It leans a little bit into being pretentious in some spots, but overall, it's a good one.
