Chaos in the card game? in Miscellaneous ·
this doesn't even feel like an advertisement 🤣
Fainted during a blood draw in Health ·
Is it normal to feel absolutely wiped out after having blood drawn? I always end up feeling incredibly pale, exhausted, and just completely drained for a couple of days afterward. Why does this happen to me, and is there anything I can actually do to mitigate it?
The fundamental logic behind health insurance is that everything is handled through the public system. I recently graduated and had to transition onto socialized coverage myself, and now I’m stuck carrying this damn social security card 🤣 that doesn't even feature an expiration date or any of those other annoying details. It functions exactly the same way your previous plan did; the only real difference is that you are likely covered under the government's social safety net now..
I personally thought it had some potential at first, but in all honesty, it turned out to be complete garbage.🤣
Birth control and libido in Women's Health ·
It has probably only been about a week since I stopped taking them, so there is absolutely no way I could feel any significant changes just yet.🤣
Someone mentioned in a previous thread that they couldn't even engage in intercourse because their libido had completely vanished... though, to be fair, I suppose I could still physically manage😬—meaning things like maintaining enough lubrication and such.

In my experience, the issue was strictly a matter of interest. For instance, if a partner tries to be intimate, my reaction is essentially just, "Oh, please leave me alone," and so on. It would take much longer for me to actually feel any sense of desire. However, once I actually became interested, the physical sensation would be😍
.
I also found that I had zero desire to initiate intimacy myself. To put it plainly, sex felt rather underwhelming; the mere thought of it didn't hold any significance for me. Even though I would reach climax if we actually proceeded with the act, it's still a struggle because a partner begins to feel rejected when they realize you simply aren't interested.

I am planning to take a six-month break from medication, and quite honestly, I am praying that I don't end up pregnant. I refuse to use condoms,😬 so I am actually feeling quite relieved right now that I am in a long-distance relationship.🤣

I have experienced this exact same cycle before; back when I finally decided to stop taking them, everything returned to normal eventually. It has become a predictable pattern for me where, roughly every two years, my libido takes a noticeable hit due to being on the pill. Since it has already been two years since I last stopped, I simply decided to discontinue my medication this month. I cannot claim to feel any tangible results from stopping just yet—it is far too early to tell—but I am quite confident that within about two months, everything will be back to its natural state as it was before.

My gynecologist actually advised me that if you notice a drop in your libido, it serves as a built-in signal from your body that it’s time to take a break. I had been taking them consistently for two years straight, but about a week ago, I decided to stop because my sex drive had completely bottomed out. I've been on a hiatus for about six months now.

I went through this exact same situation once before, and my solution was to step away from them again. During that previous break, everything seemed to normalize and improve, yet here I am, two years after restarting the pills, facing the same frustrating pattern all over again.
Megan Hill13, if the itching has finally subsided after using those vaginal suppositories and various creams, but you're still struggling primarily with dryness and discomfort around the clitoris, I would strongly suggest that what you're actually dealing with is a severely disrupted vaginal flora.

I would recommend trying some Lactobacillus; it should only cost you about ten dollars or so at a local pharmacy. Even if it doesn't solve everything, it should at least help jumpstart your natural lubrication. These probiotics aren't harmful—in fact, they are quite beneficial—but you really ought to schedule an appointment with a private specialist to get a full battery of exams done as soon as possible.
Megan Hill13, I dealt with this exact same set of issues not too long ago. Based on what you’re describing—that sharp pain while typing followed by abdominal discomfort—I would strongly suspect a bladder infection, as I know from firsthand experience. As for the other symptoms, the clitoral itching and general discomfort, that sounds very much like a yeast infection.

My honest recommendation would be to seek out a different gynecologist. If you explain that you're experiencing localized itching, they should be able to prescribe some Monistat suppositories without even needing a full exam. That is exactly how my doctor handles things; whenever I mention itching, she goes straight to the Monistat because it happens so frequently. Once you manage to resolve the itching, you might find that the issue with excessive moisture clears up as well. I went through the same thing, and it turned out to be entirely triggered by a course of antibiotics I had taken.

I started taking Lactobacillus, and after two weeks of consistent use, everything finally returned to normal. While I can't say for certain if my experience aligns perfectly with yours, everything you've described points quite strongly in that direction.

Honestly, just go find a new doctor.😉
At first, I found the whole experience quite uncomfortable... eventually, I managed to adjust, but let’s be clear: I wouldn't say I actually enjoy it.

I have to agree with Sam Richardson2... since men are usually the ones handling my luggage anyway, it honestly feels more natural for me to have a masculine physique.😬

Buying lubricant is certainly an easy fix, and I don't mind doing it, but I am fully aware that my natural lubrication, arousal levels, and general drive aren't really the issue here. My partner 😍

I genuinely feel that this isn't a matter of us losing our spark, our emotional connection, or our physical attraction to one another; rather, it is strictly a physiological hurdle. I suspect that using a lubricant is merely a temporary patch for a deeper issue...

I am curious to know if anyone else has found themselves navigating this exact same situation. If you have, what specific products did you find effective, and how long did it take before things felt completely back to normal for you?

As I mentioned previously, I have dealt with three separate yeast infections over the past year, all triggered by courses of antibiotics. Each time, my gynecologist prescribed different medicated vaginal suppositories, which seemed to resolve the immediate infection quite effectively.

About three weeks ago, I contracted another infection and used a small three-pack of suppositories provided by my doctor. While that successfully cleared up the irritation, I’ve run into a completely different issue: whenever we try to have intercourse, it is impossible because I am experiencing extreme dryness. I simply cannot produce any natural lubrication. My doctor suggested I take some Lactogin probiotics to help restore my vaginal flora, which I have been doing, though I only have four tablets left.

My partner has definitely noticed a change in our intimacy. While I can manage to get lubricated externally through stimulation, I am incredibly dry internally, and I honestly can't wrap my head around why this is happening. We can engage in foreplay and I can even reach orgasm, but actual intercourse is out of the question because... well, it just doesn't work. It causes pain for him and significant discomfort for me. I am feeling quite lost on what steps to take next or what products I might need to use to return to a normal level of natural lubrication.😬

What happens if Lactygyn doesn't actually do the trick? Is there anything out there that works better than this? I have four tablets left to take, but honestly, I’m not seeing any real improvement yet. As for seeing a dentist, I can't manage that for at least another week since I'm currently out on the coast. I fully intend to get it sorted the moment I'm back home, though my main concern is whether the clinic will even take me as a patient 🙄

In any case, I would truly appreciate some recommendations... perhaps other pills or specific creams that might be more effective?😢

Yes, I’ve been using the vaginal lubricants, and while things have generally calmed down, I am dealing with extreme dryness. No matter how aroused I get, within a minute, I feel completely dry again. We actually managed to have intercourse yesterday, but after only about two minutes of penetration, I started feeling this sudden sensation of drying out down there, which made everything quite painful.

I honestly have never experienced anything like this before, and it has me feeling genuinely concerned. I am just holding onto the hope that these tablets will eventually take effect and provide the help I need to allow my body to recover properly...

So, I finally bit the bullet and bought them, and I actually started my first round today. 😢I am truly holding out hope that this will finally resolve everything, because right now, intimacy is completely off the table for me. It’s just physically impossible at this stage.

I have a question... basically, over the last year, I’ve dealt with yeast infections three separate times, and every single instance happened right after taking antibiotics. I never used to have any issues like this, even when I had to take antibiotics in the past... but lately, every time I finish a course, the itching and burning starts up again. Of course, I go to my gynecologist, get some vaginal suppositories, and everything eventually settles back to normal.

But this time, things are different. I was prescribed antibiotics for an infected wisdom tooth, and toward the end of the treatment, the itching returned once more. So, I went back to my doctor and got more suppositories—some kind of medication containing Fluconazole.

There are usually three in a pack. Everything seemed fine at first; the itching and burning disappeared, but now I'm facing a completely different issue. I am incredibly dry down there, and when I get aroused, the lubrication isn't thin or watery like it should be—it's thick, and it makes sex physically painful. It feels like he's just pushing against something bone-dry, even if I felt lubricated just a minute before. Honestly, I feel like something is fundamentally wrong. It feels as though all these rounds of antibiotics and suppositories have left some sort of lasting impact on my body.

My gynecologist suggested I try taking Lyctogin, or something to that effect, and I actually started taking it today. Apparently, my pH levels are completely out of whack, which is making me much more sensitive. I'm just sitting here wondering if these tablets can actually fix this specific problem.

Has anyone else gone through something similar or had any experience with this?
Dog attack on a little girl in Law ·
Do you honestly believe that parents are always acting with perfect judgment? I specifically pointed out an instance where parents just stood by and watched while their child jumped all over a dog they had never even met before... personally, I find that behavior completely unacceptable.

As much as I absolutely adore dogs, I have no way of knowing that specific animal's temperament. If I had a child, I certainly wouldn't permit them to act that way. Instead, I would step in as a parent, take my child by the hand, and ask the owner for permission before letting them pet or play with the dog.

Unfortunately, that isn't what the vast majority of people do. When it comes to incidents involving dog bites, have you noticed a pattern? It seems like a child is only ever attacked when there isn't an adult standing right there to supervise.

The most common excuse is usually something like, "Grandma was busy making lunch, Grandpa was reading the paper, and the parents were at work." We all know how children operate; they tend to be reckless because they don't yet grasp that their actions can cause pain to another person or an animal. If a child is alone, they might inadvertently hurt a dog, the dog reacts defensively, and suddenly you have a sensationalized headline in the local news screaming, "Dog Nearly Attacks Child."🙄

I am finding this trend increasingly frustrating. For heaven's sake, if you are a parent, look after your child. Don't leave them unattended with a stranger's dog, and frankly, don't even leave them alone with your own.

Look, if I need to borrow some sugar, I’m going straight to my neighbor’s house, and since I actually know them, I know their dog too. If I have any idea that the dog is aggressive, and there isn't a damn doorbell to alert me, I’m not stepping foot on that property. I'll just head to the next neighbor over or simply walk to the local grocery store instead. 🤣

There is absolutely no force on this earth that would compel me to enter someone's yard if there's a dog there capable of attacking me. Listen, I volunteer with the Humane Society, so I have encountered just about every kind of dog imaginable. In all my years, I have never been bitten or even lunged at, but you always have to account for the first time. I am very aware of my own limits and what I can handle, particularly when dealing with dogs that have been trained to be territorial...

If a dog already recognizes you as a neighbor, they aren't going to attack you; that much is certain, because you are considered part of their "home" environment.

No one is suggesting that people are thieves, but I fail to see the point in trespassing onto someone's private property just to pet their dog. That's simply not how things are done!
Dog attack on a little girl in Law ·
It really doesn't matter whether the dog has an aggressive temperament or not. The fundamental issue is that Klinka was trespassing in a yard where she had absolutely no business being. It’s absurd—it's like if someone broke into my house and my dog attacked them, regardless of whether he’s a "mean" dog or a sweet one, and then I somehow get sued or held liable just because my dog was defending his own territory. 🙄

It is pure nonsense. If you choose to wander onto someone else's private property, you have to accept the inherent risks involved. Most homeowners keep dogs in their yards specifically for the purpose of security and protection.
