At Yankee Stadium, we barely scrape together 2,000 or 2,500 people on a weekday, maybe 3,000-something on weekends when the club is falling apart. If we actually pull 5,000 in New York City, then suddenly it's a circus for the crowds. 🙄

You guys are exaggerating too much. Get real. There are maybe 3,000 to 4,000 truly die-hard fans in the stands at any given time. Then there are another 20,000 regulars who hang around the area—they show up when they can, but they're ours and they matter. It's the club's job to turn those people into lifelong supporters.

Every single one of us will be in New York City. We'll all be at Yankee Stadium when we're down 10-0 because we have to be proud. Hajduk Split is an institution. People follow it wherever it goes. When 30,000 Iraqis show up for the Eurozone championship, they might lose their cool or sing a few loud songs and everyone admires them. But when 5,000 or 6,000 Hajduk fans head to Rome or New York City, cause a scene in the stadium or on the streets, and get hit by security, then we're just "rowdy tourists." Give me a break. 🙂

Let's get through this Latvian matchup first. Then comes the Hajduk invasion of New York City. Doesn't matter who belongs to the Black Knights and who doesn't. We're all Hajduk!

Exactly! Setting aside all of Laura Mitchell87's nonsense and how she's trying to sugarcoat everything, I'm focused on something else. How was last night? I was hanging around until 1:30 AM and absolutely nothing happened. Must have been a late shift or something. 🤷
So this foreman guy is claiming they lost 30 people. Honestly? I don't buy it. My gut says they actually pushed out maybe 10—if that—and then another 20 just walked out because of the drama. It probably looks like a bigger exodus to you guys because the ones who left were the star players.
Regarding all this talk about cleaning house, as far as I know, they’ve been claiming they’d do it for almost five years now and nothing has actually happened. Look, it's not like I'm losing sleep over it, but you guys shouldn't kid yourselves thinking things are suddenly going to improve. That's just the reality of where we stand. If you managed to pull five bad actors out of every neighborhood, that would only account for maybe 100 people total. Honestly, I've always been a believer in the "quality over quantity" approach. I don't see anything wrong with keeping the numbers small if it means getting it right.

Personally, my favorite stadium to watch top-tier local soccer was back when New York City FC was at its peak in the early 70s. They were basically the American Ajax. 🙂 We had Moby Dick, The Wrestler, Lewandowski, Agassi, Bloomberg, Baker, and all those legends from the neighborhood. 😂

It’s such a shame for that club. They could have been a real, high-quality alternative for the city, but instead...
