Ran into some old-school diehards the other day... folks who were around in '89 or '90.

I don't want to call anyone out, and honestly, I agree with 99% of what you wrote, but looking back at how things played out then, those were some strange times.

And I'm saying that as someone who actually remembers parts of it.

Let me give you an example from back on Kranjčevićeva Street.
I can't remember the exact year, maybe five or six seasons ago.

I spent the entire first half watching three idiots acting like complete clowns in the stands. I thought to myself, these guys aren't even real fans, let alone part of the Raiders.

I don't recall if it was pouring rain the whole time or just starting, but these geniuses decided at halftime they'd had enough and headed for the exit.
I think one of them even grabbed a small flag he brought along. I just told them, "Go ahead, good luck to you." People like that are never going to be useful.

Later, I heard from the guys in the crew that they stripped them naked and sent them home in the middle of that rain.

I don't know what the deal was with that group from a different city, but showing up somewhere totally unprepared without asking anyone how things work? In my book, that deserves a reality check.
