So, I’m finally wrapping up my degree! Just gotta get this thesis through the review process 😉 🎉 and then I'm out. I can definitely drop some advice... though honestly, it really depends on what major you're in and what subjects you're tackling.
I’m a math major, so everything is super logical. There isn't much room for just "cramming" facts—you actually have to grasp the logic and understand how things connect. That takes time. I stayed on top of it pretty consistently, studying almost every single day, maybe taking a week or two off after big exams, though sometimes I'd treat myself to a longer break. I had to find a balance because I still wanted to hang out with friends 😁 and grab drinks, so I'd aim for about five hours of solid study a day while making sure I actually went out every night. I didn't really bother showing up to most lectures 🙂 since, around here, you don't really have to.
Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! Once this thesis is done, I am officially DONE! 👋
Panic? Yeah, usually the day before an exam. I could never help it; I guess that's just how I'm wired. If it was a really brutal subject, the anxiety would hit a few days early... but looking back now, it's kind of hilarious. It all passes. And hey, if you fail an exam, you just retake it another time 😁 😉

Man, I gotta tell ya, the cravings started hitting me again recently, even after holding out for two whole years!!!
It’s seriously driving me crazy. I actually took a drag on New Year's Day and told myself, "No way, not after everything I've put in."
It's tough, but I'm rooting for you guys. I know you can do it.👍
Personally, I always figured if I could just make it two years without a cigarette—which is a massive milestone—then I’d be golden and never even think about lighting up again. But apparently, life doesn't work like that...
How long does it actually take for an ex-smoker to become a full-blown anti-smoker?? You know exactly what I mean.😁
I really hope this idea clicks for you guys. It sounds solid to me, but my struggle is that I want to quit so bad, yet it just stays stuck in my head—I can't seem to make that final, rock-solid decision. Ever since I started trying, I haven't even made it two days without lighting up. Cutting back never actually worked for me, though I guess it wasn't a total loss since I managed to drop down to five cigarettes a day for a bit before sliding right back to a full pack... I know I’ll quit one of these days, I just don't know when. 🤔
I honestly look up to those people who can just control it—you know, the ones who smoke occasionally with the crew but aren't actually addicts.
The thing that triggers my biggest "paranoia" is that heavy feeling of, "I am NEVER lighting up a cigarette again." But hey, hopefully, I'll be there one day too... for now, I'm just here to cheer you all on... keep pushing, everyone!
You guys can totally do this!! 👋
Honestly, the movie was pretty decent👍
Nothing mind-blowing, just a solid, chill watch😁
Johnny... man...😛 😁

It can.

It definitely won't be
toxic (like, seriously!?)
...everything around us absorbs outside energy (on top of having its own), and food is no exception. If we grow it, cook it, or even eat it while holding onto a bad attitude, it’s definitely going to lose its flavor, smell, and all that good stuff... but it doesn't just turn poisonous out of nowhere (unless that negative person actually slips some poison in there. 😉...but that's more of an Agatha Christie plot🙂)
I just got back from the Sundance Film Festival and honestly, it was such an incredible vibe 😁
Sure, it was way less crowded last year, which made it easier to catch more screenings and stuff... but even with the crowds this time, Napa Valley still had that special magic 🙂
I feel like everyone’s already said everything there is to say about the festival itself... but for those of you who haven't been yet:
Just get down here, soak it all in, and then tell us what you think....
Regarding volunteering—from what I've heard, they usually pull about 5 or 6 hours a day. Plus, you get free passes to all the movies, plus housing and food... sounds pretty sweet to me. I know a bunch of people who have been doing it for years, so it seems totally legit....
I’m definitely going back next year... actually, I'm already counting down the days
😁
The only thing is, I might skip the final night because those crowds are... man, they are intense....
Can anyone tell me what thyroid cancer actually looks like?
What kind of stuff does a person go through... how do you know when it's time to go get checked out?
thanks
