honestly, I'd much rather see actual, even if faded, rockers than those pop-rock sellouts (Interpol, Kaiser Chiefs...)

I love that scene on the 'Live at Madison Square Garden' DVD—when Pearl Jam plays 'Yellow Ledbetter' and you can just spot a woman in her mid-30s in the crowd with her little girl nearby...

Hmm, I wasn't really into Cave back in '98, so I missed the show... though a friend who went mentioned the first thing he asked the crowd to do was get up from their seats and move closer to the stage...😁

He could certainly handle a smaller venue, but honestly, this feels like a better fit for him—I’ve always preferred those more intimate, low-key shows...

FF is just overhyped. I mean, they’re passable enough—decent work, I suppose—but nothing truly special. Just some angry pop...

I find the 22-20s from the islands much more compelling—solid blues/rock vibes. Given they've only put out one album and they're still such a young band, I actually have high hopes for them...

I’m really digging 'Love is hell pt2'—that sensitive, almost overly dramatic vibe actually suits him... 'R'N'R' is probably his weakest link, though; he doesn't quite seem to find his footing with the heavier stuff. It feels a bit like he went into the studio thinking, "Look at everything I can do"...
Still a solid guy, though...
