It won't work with the OP's motherboard. You really need to check the item description 😉 . My advice to the owner is to just look through local classifieds and see if you can snag two 1GB sticks for maybe $27 a piece. Combined with what's already in there, you'll hit 3GB—which is just shy of what a 32-bit version of Windows can actually address, which is likely what they're running anyway. Honestly, there’s zero point in dropping more than that on an ancient rig with a Pentium 4 processor... 😉
I'm not in America, I'm over in Canada, and even here I haven't had any luck finding the right RAM. I don't think I even need to push it to 4GB; 3GB should do fine, and frankly, I don't care much either way. If you wouldn't mind dropping an eBay link for some compatible RAM so I can take a look...
crimsonstag84 said:Just so we're on the same page, what else is actually left in this rig? I’m not sure how much sense it makes to spend a dime upgrading it... DDR1 RAM is basically prehistoric at this point... 😬
Pentium 4 HT 3.6 GHz, 1GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, a Radeon x700 graphics card... honestly, I just use the thing for streaming and movies on my TV monitor...
So, I’m starting to realize—slowly but surely—that I’m hitting a wall with my RAM. I really need an upgrade, and I'm looking to jump straight up to 4GB since I'm currently sitting on a measly 1GB...
Since I'm planning to grab some parts off eBay, I could use a little guidance from you guys. I've never actually bought memory online before, so I don't want to screw this up. Here’s the breakdown of what I'm working with:
Module Name Swissbit SDU06464P1B72MT-50 Serial Number 68010000h (360) Memory Speed PC3200 (200 MHz) Module Width 64 bit Module Voltage SSTL 2.5 Refresh Rate Reduced (7.8 us), Self-Refresh
Everest is throwing out a bunch of other technical specs too, but I doubt they matter much... hopefully the experts here can make sense of this data and point me in the right direction. If anyone can help me out, I was thinking about just picking up two 2GB sticks if that's even an option?
Hahahahahahah, I honestly can't even wrap my head around this mess, but I’m actually kind of looking forward to seeing this whole squad finally fall apart. Am I really supposed to be rooting for guys like Mus or Valcic? They're acting like total idiots lately... And what, is God Allah Ivano Balic just not allowed to play??? Who on earth is supposed to step in for Duvnjak? Honestly, screw Valcic and everything he stands for, and screw the guy who scored that goal too...
Sorry for the swearing, I just needed to vent a little bit...
What’s really pathetic is seeing how much the French are playing like absolute garbage right now. People are actually falling for this joke of a squad... honestly, they’re buying into the hype completely. hahahahhahha
If it wasn't for Alisson Becker, this whole thing would be a total disaster already...
Honestly, there’s really no point in getting worked up about this. It’s nothing we haven't seen before—the French just outplayed us. One minute we think we have them with a three-point lead, and the next, we're staring down a four-point deficit. That stupid Kopljar—and look, I genuinely wish him nothing but the best for the rest of his career, truly—was giving us a hard time in the first half, but I think anyone watching realized pretty quickly that momentum wasn't going to stay on our side forever. The French squad and their coach are just on a completely different level than us right now. On our side, the only ones really holding it together are Domagoj Duvnjak, maybe Goran Strlek and cuko to an extent... the rest of the roster? Honestly, I don't think most of them could even hack it in the NBA G League, which is a total disaster anyway...
Hey there! I have a question for you all. I feel like it might be a bit early to go see a doctor, but here is the situation. About ten days ago, I slipped and took a nasty spill, hitting my nose directly against the concrete. I went in to get some X-rays done, and thankfully there aren't any fractures, but there was a lot of swelling and bleeding at the time. The swelling has gone down now, though it still feels a little tender if I touch it.
But here is the actual issue... A bump has appeared... specifically right between those first two lines, starting from the top and moving down toward the middle!
I’m wondering how smart it would be to go get it fixed, and if it's even possible to get rid of it. The thing is, I don't have an aesthetic surgery center nearby that specializes in this kind of stuff.
Is there any chance that this bump will just disappear on its own in another ten days or so?
Maybe, though I think you’d need everything to be incredibly precise and perfectly synced up. Honestly? I don't see you pulling that off solo... you're probably going to need to hire someone who actually knows their way around this stuff.
Anyway, if you manage to get it close enough to working, it might actually serve its purpose—provided you've got a clear line of sight and we're talking maybe a 500-meter range max. If there's anything in the way, forget about it.
Might as well give it a shot since it's cheap. Those antennas aren't even hard to find around here in Canada; you can probably pick some up for maybe $5 or $7 if you look in the right places.
If you aren't running into any major technical hurdles, you shouldn't have much trouble streaming movies or getting through some gaming sessions...
Of course, when the weather turns nasty—you know, heavy rain or snowstorms—things might stutter a bit, though it’s not a guarantee. But honestly, that antenna setup mentioned in this post? That’s pretty much the gold standard for keeping things smooth.
Adam Collins4 said:Nothing to say about Zorman? Just look at his assist numbers. The guy is averaging 6 assists per game...
Even if you combined Duvnjak and Balić, they wouldn't hit his per-game assist average, and that's after playing way more games than him... it speaks for itself...
Sorry, I think you misread me. When I said "I have no comment," I meant I was actually happy with the choice!!! It wasn't sarcasm!!
Huge props to all the players; I’m tipping my hat to them. They actually managed to pull together and overcome what’s been holding them back—finding the grit to go out there and grab bronze. I mean, if everyone else is celebrating a bronze medal, how am I supposed to be disappointed? There was definitely room to aim higher, but I really don't even want to get into that... I honestly wish we could have spent a little more time obsessing over the perfect lineup... Goalkeeper - Stanić was solid. He kept those guys from the US at bay during the most critical stretches of the game, so he earned his spot. Wings - I just can't wrap my head around this decision. Cupko absolutely had to be in there, and if not him, then Strlek. I guess I can see why they went with Strlek since he wasn't around for the tournament's closing stretch, but still... Left Wing - Hansen. In my book, he didn't earn an All-Star spot after that absolute train wreck of a first half during the tournament. I'll throw Lac in there too, just to be fair. Center - Zorman - nothing to say here, he's just himself. Right Wing - Kopljar. If he's really considered the best in that position, honestly, I'd be happy to gift him to someone else... Pivot - Toft Hansen? I suppose he'll do...
Thomas Harris97 said:Coming in 5th place... sure, let's call that a massive success if it makes you feel better. Everyone’s just looking out for their own interests anyway, so go ahead and keep singing those anthems until tomorrow comes. I'm actually pulling for the French and the Spaniards to keep moving forward; at least they play with some actual sportsmanship, unlike this constant bickering we have here.
just grab a gun and do us all a favor, a single bullet would be more than enough...🙂
So, Balic messed up. He made a few mistakes, sure, but so what? Even legends like Jordan, Federer, or Nadal have bad days at the office. People are human; we all trip up sometimes... Honestly, I’m putting more of this loss on the coach than the players. He botched a few calls, but let's not start hanging him from the rafters just yet... While Cervar was in charge, everyone was tearing him apart, and now they’re doing the exact same thing to Katie. She needs more time to find her footing. If you look at how much better the play has been compared to last year, the progress is clearly there—the results will catch up eventually. One silver lining here, if you can call it that, is that we tasted defeat now rather than two or three games down the road. It hurts, but it's better to get it out of the way early. I still believe this squad has the grit, the heart, and most importantly, the sheer talent to go all the way and grab that championship... I am genuinely wondering though, did Lac pick up an injury? That’s why he was sidelined for most of the second half, or was that just a tactical blunder???
I’ll admit, I was a little spooked by those Canadians for a second, but honestly? Turns out they aren't quite the powerhouse I thought they were... Regarding the tickets, there should still be plenty left on Ticketmaster, but you really ought to move fast if you want in...
