I honestly feel like that’s exactly why the whole exclusion process exists because if someone clearly doesn't want to take on the role of PM, then they just don't want to be the PM! 🤷
Ronald Anderson37 said:That’s awesome, thanks so much! So, you're absolutely sure this is pure whey? I'm honestly just a little worried about whether my stomach is going to handle it okay.
You’ve got a totally wrong idea about how much protein you actually need, because 50 grams is basically just two shakes for you, so if you drink that all in one day, you won't even realize you've had any at all! Just go ahead and grab yourself a tub of whey, maybe a 2lb size or even just a 1.1lb one, and start drinking it alongside your workouts and a solid meal plan, because if you don't get your diet sorted out first, no amount of protein powder is ever going to make a difference for you.
Scott Allen10 said:Ty and EL basically said exactly what I would have put in my own response! Look, man, even if you have undeniable expert knowledge, there is absolutely no reason to just "sit in ambush" on a site like Reddit waiting for a chance to "get back" at me over something you think is the same thing... It is obvious to you too that by forcing these situations and trying to manufacture some kind of "scandal," you aren't doing yourself any favors, you're actually doing the exact opposite, so I am inviting you to keep making our corner of this community better with your writing instead.
Swearing and being rude just isn't how you talk to a lady, it really isn't, and regardless of whether she is right or wrong, you shouldn't allow yourself to express things that way because there are basic standards of behavior to follow, especially since she is a doctor—a true professional—and honestly, it is definitely not in the interest of this community to lose people who can provide such valuable expert advice, whether they happen to be a lawyer, a doctor, or a police officer.
I totally get where you're coming from, so I’m definitely going to focus my energy on the whitehat side of things and try to help people stay one step ahead of those annoying Facebook scams, general cybersecurity threats, and even some of those notorious blackhat hackers out there, so thanks a million!
Hey rustydrifter10, what's up! I was just thinking about those computers and all that software we were discussing regarding the Hacking topic, specifically that one thread titled Hacking
I am having the strangest time trying to track down that thread I started earlier today because I just can't seem to find it anywhere on the boards! I haven't received any notifications saying it was moved or deleted, so I'm honestly just totally stumped, so could someone please point me in the right direction and let me know where my topic went? 🤷
I’m sorry, but that is just a total pile of nonsense because this forum exists specifically for people to write 🤷 Just let people talk! If someone starts rambling about stuff that’s totally off-topic, you can delete those specific posts or lock the thread if you really feel like it, but I honestly think it’s way too radical and frankly unprofessional to shut a whole topic down just to reopen it later. Once a thread is closed, it should stay closed—unless there's some really special reason, of course—and you’ve started making this a regular thing here lately, which is just frustrating! You have no idea how annoying it is to see a locked thread when you want to jump in and reply, only to find out it’s been reopened a few days later. It feels completely pointless, don't you think? 😕
To me, it looks like you're being indecisive by closing a thread just so you can figure out what to do next, but honestly, what’s the big deal if someone drops a couple of off-topic comments? Someone might report them, or even if they don't, those random posts will just get buried under a mountain of actual on-topic discussion anyway, and at the end of the day, you guys are right there to steer the conversation back on track if it ever truly wanders off
I’m not saying this just to you, either, but to all the mods, even though I haven't noticed anyone else doing this lately. Personally, I think you guys are some of the absolute best moderators on this entire politics forum! There are plenty of you, but you are truly experienced and incredibly reasonable, so if you're one of the newer mods, maybe try following the lead of the veteran ones to see how they handle things, because none of us know everything and we're all still learning as we go 🤷
I’ve noticed a few times now that this moderator Brian Edwards6 keeps shutting down the thread just to reopen it immediately, and honestly, I can't help but laugh at how ridiculous that looks! 🤷 If you aren't quite sure what you're doing as a moderator, then why even take the role? People completely lose interest in a discussion when you keep killing the momentum by closing it, and you're constantly toggling that lock like you're just playing around with buttons for fun! It would be much better if you just left the thread open and focused on deleting specific posts or steering the conversation back on track whenever someone goes off-topic, rather than slamming the whole thing shut every time someone says something slightly off-base 🙄
I feel like I saw a thread somewhere—honestly, my memory is a bit fuzzy on the exact spot—but there was definitely a section where people were dropping links for sites like Swagbucks and other ways to make some extra cash online, and I’m pretty sure we have a dedicated corner for all that stuff, though I could be totally off base, and since you're a moderator, you'd be the one to know for sure
I’ve been wondering where I might be able to start a thread about making some extra cash, because there is this one site I use to earn money working from home, and while I definitely have my main career sorted out, I would love to open up a discussion and share the details with everyone else, maybe even drop my referral link so anyone interested can just jump right in, but I am honestly not sure if there is actually a space on this forum for stuff like that where it wouldn't be flagged as blatant advertising? 🤷
There isn't much to say here because it’s really just a straightforward question, and honestly, you can't write an entire novel over a single inquiry! The point is perfectly clear, and while I definitely agree that we don't need to start a whole new thread for every little thing, he could have easily just moved his topic to the right section and waited patiently for someone to jump in with an answer 🤷

Even if we were all living in Vatican City where almost everyone identifies as Catholic, I am absolutely certain that the owner of Reddit and this entire admin team would maintain their exact same position. The bottom line is that it doesn't matter where you are located or who the majority of people surrounding you might be, because the fundamental principle here at Reddit is simply that the rules apply equally to everyone.
Honestly, I have no idea how else I can explain this to you so that it finally clicks and you actually wrap your head around it!
Every single time I try to reply to a thread, log in, or even just start a new discussion, this annoying pop-up window keeps jumping right in my face! I'm using Google Chrome at the moment, but I’ve already gone ahead and tested it on both Chrome and Internet Explorer, and honestly, it’s happening everywhere. I was thinking about maybe disabling my McAfee just to see if that fixes it, but I'm a little hesitant because I really don't want to leave myself wide open to some nasty virus if I turn off my protection 😕
granitegull51, honestly, McAfee is one of the absolute best antiviruses out there on the market, so I just can't wrap my head around how you could possibly claim it's garbage when it actually managed to sniff out something that all those other programs completely missed!🤷
I just got hit with over 50 different virus warnings from McAfee whenever I try to load up this site, so I'm wondering what on earth is going on here! It only triggers specifically when I attempt to access the forum.
McAfee says it blocked a threat and then I'm left staring at this absolute mess of unreadable symbols right under the link.
It looks like the forum might be infected with some kind of malware, so could you guys please take a look at this? I really love logging in here to hang out, but I definitely don't want to end up with a virus on my computer because of it! 🤷
I honestly feel like everyone is just sitting around waiting for him to finally snap because things aren't going his way, just so they can jump down his throat and claim he’s the one at fault for how the whole discussion started! 🤷
It’s such a weak tactic if you ask me, and from everything I've seen, he absolutely does not deserve to be treated this way.
