Take the current European Union as an example. From where I'm sitting, this specific flavor of communitarianism is a complete disaster. It feels like it’s let too many people down, which is probably why you see so many sovereignty advocates fighting back against it. Personally, certain versions of this ideology just give me the creeps; they're hard to stomach. I'm talking about the core philosophy behind some of these concepts, specifically.

All we really need is individualism.

What kind of individualism are we talking about? And why do you think it's necessary? In today's global economy, it's been argued that self-interest beats out the collective good.
Yet, looking around, society seems pretty miserable.
Doesn't being an individual just become a synonym for being an egoist?

People need a revolution to actually find their footing. We’re overdue for an aesthetic and industrial overhaul—something that's been brewing for decades and is basically why our society turned out this way.
Are we just circling back to some kind of mob rule? Capitalism and communism have both turned us into insects.
One side exploits you, the other tries to control you. We need to invent something that bridges the gap between individualism and collectivism. I haven't quite figured out what that looks like yet.

Man, does he have anything better to do?😁 Thanks, though—I think I'll pass.👍

So it's a unanimous decision? Thanks for clarifying. Given my age, I might not even be around in six months. Just kidding. Appreciate the polite reply.

Thanks for the reply. I suppose it’s a bit redundant to ask if you're the sole decision-maker on this forum.

I’d like to ask the admins to take a look at my situation. I was wondering if there’s any chance my partial ban on the LJES and US PDFs could be lifted.
Thanks in advance.

😵 Where have I been hiding?🤣🙏
What kind of brilliant marketing campaign is this for Alternative? You don't even have to try. I’ll definitely be dropping by. It’s been years since I’ve had a laugh this good on a forum.
At least things are actually happening over there, so it’s worth the trip.😁
Are you guys being serious, or is this all just a clever way to lure more people into joining the forum?

Thanks to Google for clearing that up. It’s entirely possible I messed something up on my end. My main goal was just trying to follow the moderator's request to tidy up my profile.
Even though I tried explaining my side, it seems my good intentions were overlooked. I went back and checked the rules later, and apparently, editing your profile however you want isn't actually against the terms.
Anyway, I appreciate you being so helpful and willing to walk a user through this.
Thanks for the polite explanation.
Best,

Thanks for clearing that up. I see why I wasn't in the loop now.
One quick thing to point out, though: reaching a specific moderator directly is pretty much impossible since their inbox is constantly slammed, and my attempts to get a hold of them haven't really gone anywhere.
As far as my issue goes, I'm fine with closing this thread.

Given how the forum is running and the technical glitches that keep popping up, I don't think any further involvement is really necessary.

Since when do moderators lose access to private messages? If I recall correctly, you banned me recently along with a 100-point penalty. I’m not looking for anything special here. I just want an official explanation regarding my partial ban from these two sub-forums.
I have no interest in starting drama. I've already reached out to the people in charge. After contacting a Google moderator, I ended up creating two female profiles that just vanished, along with my email addresses. Honestly, this kind of irresponsible behavior toward me needs to stop. Besides, editing your profile isn't against the forum rules. Those two profiles just disappeared into the technological ether. If someone is playing games, they've gone way too far. Again, I'm not asking for favors; I just want an official notice about my partial ban. I believe I have a right to know where I stand.
As a moderator, you definitely have access to my PMs.
Thanks in advance.

Could the moderators responsible for revoking my access to the LJES forum please send over a notification with an explanation, if possible?

Thanks.

Duba, can I change my username from Rachel Price6 to lazna?

Sure, just reach out to Nice.🙂

I stumbled upon an artist I’d never even heard of. It was a total accident—I just heard a song that caught my ear, fired up Shazam to see who it was, and ended up completely hooked.
Let me introduce you to Piers Faccini. He’s basically the guy who dragged folk music into the
