So, I’m looking for a SATA III hard drive, roughly 500GB, with 32MB of cache and a 7200rpm spindle speed. I’m just not quite sure which brands are worth my time right now. 🤷 Any suggestions? 🍿
I'm looking for a SATA II hard drive in the 200-300GB range—I can't seem to find any online retailers that actually stock SATA II drives anymore.😢 Where might I be able to track one down?
Sandra Vaughn50 said:And is the IgM negative? If you have an isolated positive IgG, it likely means you've already built immunity to chickenpox (probably from childhood, like most people) and mumps—likely as a result of vaccination. It’s really nothing to worry about.
Yes, the IgM is negative. These were CSF and serum results taken because there was some suspicion regarding multiple sclerosis, so I was just wondering what these specific numbers meant. Thanks.
My serum results show Mumps IgG at 24, where the reference range is positive if >11 and negative if Also, my VZV IgG is over 2000, while the reference range marks anything >100 as positive and And yes, right next to those, it explicitly says "POSITIVE."
Then there's the CSF result, which shows VZV IgG at 110; the reference units are positive if >100 and negative if Does anyone happen to know what these numbers actually signify?
I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place for this—unless management decides to relocate me elsewhere. Anyway, due to some inexplicable circumstances, I managed to snap the drive belt on my elliptical, specifically the internal drive mechanism. I was wondering where I might be able to swipe, source, or just... acquire one without having to 😁 and pay 🙂 .
It’s the graphics card. I pulled it out, cleaned everything up, and put it all back together, though I was a bit unsure about one specific wire, so I booted the PC just to check a photo. It powered right up—fans spinning perfectly, drives humming, even the image popped up full screen. Everything looked fine, so I figured I'd just pop it back in. But once I seated it and tried again, nothing. No display, and the drives wouldn't even spin up. I ended up pulling it out again, rebooted, and suddenly everything works perfectly again. I suppose the question is whether the issue lies with the GPU itself or the slot. I only have one slot available, so unless I can get my hands on another PC, I'm a bit stuck.
So, I tried this: I hooked the monitor directly to the motherboard and got a picture. However, the fan on my graphics card is still spinning, so I'm not entirely sure if the GPU itself is actually the culprit. On top of that, the hard drive isn't booting up nearly as fast as it should be. As for that clicking sound I mentioned earlier—it’s definitely not coming from the drives or the DVD-ROM since I've unplugged everything. I can't pinpoint it exactly, but it seems to be coming from somewhere near the front panel power button and the reset switch.
Got home, fired up my PC, and everything went sideways. My monitor keeps flickering like the tower isn't even receiving power. I can hear the hard drive trying to spin up—that clicking sound happened maybe three or four times—but there's just no picture. I tried restarting and power cycling it a few times, and during those attempts, the CPU fan actually cut out once or twice, and it took a few tries to get any life at all after that clicking noise. Interestingly, I think I heard the Windows XP startup sound once or twice, yet the screen remains totally blank. Any idea what the hell is going on? 🤷
I know there are tons of exercises out there meant to fix an unknown, but I get the feeling that when doctors prescribe them, they’re often just general spinal maintenance. I'm wondering if anyone knows which ones actually target an unknown specifically?
I was wondering who actually owns the phone lines inside an apartment building—specifically the wiring running from the main utility closet to the individual units?
I’m asking because I’ve run into a massive headache; apparently, there's an issue with the wiring and my internet is absolute garbage right now. I’m currently with AT&T, so I called their support line. They sent a technician out, and after checking everything, they concluded that the connection is fine up to the building's distribution box and perfectly fine from my wall jack to my router. That means the fault lies somewhere in that middle ground between the building's hub and my apartment. The AT&T tech told me it’s outside his jurisdiction and that I need to report it to the HOA representative. Naturally, I called that guy, and he just insisted it’s a Verizon issue. Then I called Verizon, and they said they can't touch it until AT&T files a formal request. When I went back to AT&T, they claimed they have nothing to do with it since the wiring belongs to the building, suggesting the HOA should just hire an electrician and bill the repair to the association. I’ve been stuck in this endless loop all morning.😢 I honestly don't know who else to call at this point. Everyone keeps claiming it's someone else's problem and nobody seems to give a damn, so absolutely nothing is getting fixed.
How do I go about doing that? It’s some shoes that someone else has already worn. I did a little digging online and saw there are various sprays out there, but I haven't been able to find anything on a local website. Does anyone know if there's a specific spray like that available for purchase here in the States?
My apologies, mods—I wasn't sure which subforum this belonged in. Feel free to move it elsewhere if necessary.
My dear dad took a tumble onto the grass from about four or five feet up and landed right on his shoulder 😢 This happened maybe two or three months ago. He’s incredibly stubborn and refuses to see a doctor because he's convinced nothing is actually broken, even though the pain is killing him. It's fine when he keeps the arm still, but if he tries to move it even a little bit, the pain is so intense he can barely function. He’s been massaging the area and using Deep Relief, which seems to help just a tiny bit. I’m not sure where he gets his information, but he insists these kinds of injuries can ache for two or three months, sometimes even up to six. Has anyone dealt with something similar or does anyone know how to handle this? Or is my best bet just threatening to burn the house down if he doesn't finally go to a doctor? 😉
