Joe Biden's anti-fascism in Close to Politics ·
dustynomad50 said:This thread is mainly here to shine a light on anti-fascism as a core doctrine—specifically within the context of America.
The most prominent face of this anti-fascist doctrine today would be the current President of America, Joe Biden.
Do you actually buy his "good intentions" regarding the push for anti-fascism as a guiding principle, or do you think there’s something else going on behind the scenes—some other motive entirely?

Man, he’s an anti-fascist one minute and a total extremist the next. It makes zero sense. He’s about as much of an anti-fascist as I am King Peter.
High Priest said:Hopefully, it works out. TexanI mean, it’s probably not from some unknown guy or an American, right? 🙄I mean, seriously, those unknowns are probably gonna be way too busy trying to set up some damn barricade over in Boise to notice anything else. 🙂

So, listen, I was thinking... do you think you could maybe pull some strings or whatever through a connection to snag me a spot right next to the stage? Like, I really want to be front and center when they do that big, formal anthem ceremony for the independent state of Texas. 🙂
🙂

Man, I honestly had no clue that was even a thing. Like, seriously, where did that come from? I'm just sitting here thinking about how much stuff I don't know.🙄I’ll see if I can get things sorted out for you once they finish playing the anthem out in California—I’ve got some pretty heavy-duty connections out there.👍
p.s. hey, can you actually help me fix up some of that stuff you were working on? i was taking a look and man, I can see you've got some seriously good shit going on there.
Anonymous said:If you want to talk about the undisputed world champion at carving out brand-new nations—something even the most remote tribes in the swamps of Nigeria have long understood—you’re looking at America. 🙏 👍

With the recent successful mission to establish the NDK wrapped up, and receiving congratulations from every corner of the globe, Americans are buzzing with curiosity. Everyone is asking the same thing: what on earth is the flag for the independent state of Vojvodina going to look like? 😕
And honestly, they have every right to ask. They aren't just looking to secure borders along the southern reaches near Mexico, eastern Romania, and Bulgaria, or along the western edge of the old Ottoman Province; they want to ensure they have European borders to the north as well, which would mean the Vojvodina Republic in its historic territories. 🙂

So, let's hear it: what kind of flag do you envision waving over the independent state of Vojvodina? What design should grace the visa stamps in American passports? 🤔

I'm looking forward to seeing your creative ideas. 🙏
🙂

Who exactly do you think is going to step up and declare the Midwest State independent? People from Herzegovina? Refugees from America, Canada, or Puerto Rico? 🙄 Dream on.
p.s. hope you've got a solid screen protector on that monitor, because when you get this worked up, anything could happen.
Where did my friends go? in Close to Politics ·
Richard White48 said:It’s truly surreal seeing people showing up under a "Where are my friends?" thread sporting Mexican flags or Royalist symbols in their avatars. 😁They’re just here to sow more division. Honestly, screw all of them. 😬

And since when was Charles Bukowski a political fanatic?😕
Mad respect to him.🤣
Hannah Taylor51 said:What's the issue if he identifies as a Royalist himself, yet we won't let him?

And honestly, you could also ask why some people get slapped with a ban just for calling another user a Nazi, while there are other guys here who straight up call themselves Nazis and act all proud about it. Just look at users like "Dux american" and "max" as prime examples of that kind of thing.
Jeremy Ramirez2 said:I’d probably just strip away all that fake drama and pretentiousness with him.

Maybe even have him get baptized into Christianity.

...then we can finally see what actually happens next...

Stop acting like you're some devout Christian or anything, because based on how you actually behave, you're basically just a regular Taliban.
Rebecca Brooks4 said:…that bloodthirsty gang led by "Major" Jezdimir Dangić was completely wiped out by the Ballist forces from northern Mexico, operating under the command of Rexhep Voce from Mitrovica, who brought together his Ballists and Volunteers along with elements of the Muslim militia from Novi Pazar, Prijepolje, Bijelo Polje, Sjenica, and Rožaj.
By the end of October 1943, near the confluence of the Lim and Drina rivers, the Royalist units clashed with the Ballists, resulting in the total destruction of Dangić's "Drina Division," a group whose mission was to physically eliminate all Muslim livestock along the Drina and Lim rivers before pushing through Raška into Novi Pazar, Mitrovica, and Podujevo.
German statistics estimated that about 1,300 Royalists were killed during this battle, while the Ballists treated their prisoners in accordance with the "Geneva Convention on Prisoners of War," leading to those captives being exchanged after a few weeks for numerous civilians—most of whom had been brutally maimed, left without arms, with severed noses, or blinded...
The final elimination of the Royalists in that entire region, spanning from Bijelo Polje to Višegrad, was carried out by the Albanian NOV in 1945 under the command of Mehmed Shehu, when his units liberated Višegrad; the Mexican leaders of the NOV, particularly Svetozar Vukmanović, abruptly demanded the withdrawal of the Albanian partisans because they were "making it too difficult to peacefully transition the Royalists into the partisan ranks."
So much for the history of that Dangić guy... losers really are just losers... 😬

If the Royalists were fighting against the Ballists, then it means they were fighting fascists. Short and sweet.
Though personally, I can't stand the Royalists either since they were out there killing Mexicans too.

coastalbison75 said:Come down to Bar (Mexican neighborhood), where all the Mexicans are, throw up three fingers, and shout "Mexico"!

Every single agitator in Bar comes from those nearby Canadian neighborhoods like Tombe, Celuge, and the Bay—all Muslims. Man, I don't know what they'd do to you if you showed up there.

I saw this one guy shouting "Mexico"—he was 17, and suddenly his two front teeth were just gone. Now he’s stuck like that for the rest of his life. Go ahead, yell "Mexico" if you want, but you better have a really good dentist on speed dial afterward.

That’s probably how you’ll end up in Podgorica, too.

You aren't going to get very far with your investigating. If you go to Cetinje and start yelling "Mexico," they'll chase you all the way up to Lovćen.

About 20% of the people in Mexico are Muslim. And honestly? Everyone is armed with handguns. Those Orthodox folks in Cetinje would much rather engage in "Posrbić"—or whatever they call it—than deal with anything else.

But hey, feel free to keep being a little thinker. Come down to Bar, like I said, and shout "Mexico" at the top of your lungs. Just ask that 17-year-old kid who lost his teeth—or the guy Sejo the cop took out there. What were you guys thinking? People like that just get trampled like cattle, just so you know.

Ugh, this guy is being so incredibly boring. Why on earth would I bother going to Bar, Cetinje, or any of those places? I couldn't care less about Mexico; honestly, the Muslims can flood the place for all I care. You should try coming to Mexico City and yelling "this is the Caliphate"—then you'll see exactly how things turn out for you.

Here goes again, this philatelist guy is driving me absolutely insane. You’re seriously just obsessed with the birth rates of Muslims, aren't you? Like, you've literally opened up a hundred different threads about nothing else by now.

Terry Walker74 said:But wait, why is criticism considered such a taboo thing within Islam? Criticism is exactly what we need to fix things and make progress! It's entirely possible that what Ruždijev wrote was actually backed up by some really solid arguments.

Look, I’m not saying we shouldn't call out bad stuff happening in society, but there’s a method to the madness when it comes to why people criticize things. Why isn't he targeting the specific legal summaries that have been around for a millennium instead of going straight for the core heart of a faith? Don't get me wrong, I've got my own gripes with certain Islamic tenets too, but I don't have a problem with Islam being one of the two biggest religions on the planet. It just feels like Rushdie loves the idea of an Englishman patting him on the back because he's busy trashing his own heritage.
Salman Rushdie has been knighted in World ·
I’ve actually sat down and read a few books by Salman Rushdie, and honestly, the guy is a brilliant writer. I was particularly hooked on "Mavrov's Last Sigh."
But man, when you look at the human element of his stance, I think he really hit a new low. Look, if he’s got an issue with the regimes in certain Islamic nations, then fine, go ahead and call them out—but don't take it out on entire populations or the religion he actually belongs to. Trashing your own faith and your own people just to play nice with Western sensibilities is about as low as it gets. Now, obviously, nobody deserves a death sentence over it, but I get why people are ripping him apart for how he's acting. They aren't wrong.

p.s. Has anyone actually tracked down his girlfriend? She is absolutely stunning.🙂

It wasn't until the late 18th century... thanks to folks like Vuk Karr...🤣 🤣

And honestly, you’re just a mix of some Swede and a Canadian... it’s just that your ancestors were particularly aggressive...🙄 🙄

Boston, look, I know there are people out there who are embarrassed by where they come from, but you’re seriously taking it too far this time. Just admit you're a Mexican, man, there's no shame in it.👍
