Anthony Jackson2 said:Steve Jobs isn't exactly popping up every day—if that were actually the case in the USA, everyone would be dropping dead with ten billion dollars in their bank accounts. We have talented people here, sure—but I highly doubt we'll ever see someone quite that capable or successful.
Look, it’s easier to make it in the USA—that's just reality—but someone who’s actually that talented would find a way to win anywhere they were born.
If Jadranka had been born in the USA, she’d be scrubbing floors at McDonald's—honestly, that's the only place her "talents" would actually land her a job. ☕

I watched maybe three or four episodes of that series in total. It turned my stomach immediately. Watching James Earl Jones act like some pathetic, sniveling loser was revolting. To me, the entire show felt like an anti-Muslim—or rather, an anti-American—propaganda piece, even if they botched the religious references.
It felt like the script was penned by some bitter hater of American Muslims. Then, much to my shock, I hear people calling it a "cult classic." To me, the whole thing reeks of an almost primal intolerance, caricaturing Americans as nothing more than drooling, idiotic losers.
And here is the kicker. Now, suddenly, they’re offended. They weren't offended by the unaddressed nonsense from the Mustafians, but they sure are offended by some mention of bacon.
Bravo. And Santa Claus just handed them the win for being such fools.

I mean, what kind of "distancing from national identity" are we actually talking about when it involves people moving to New York City—a place that, quite frankly, has spent its recent history officially rehabilitating groups like the Royalists?
redeagle42 said:Look, stepping back and distancing yourself from nationalism or the whole "nation" identity thing is totally fine by me. So why on earth do some random people on these forums always have to get so worked up and negative about it?
Gregory Howard said:That "Western anarchist" thought certain extremist militias were charming folklore, while viewing mainstream radicals as a constant threat.
Spare me the nonsense. Tomić is nothing more than a typical fringe lunatic.
Kevin Gonzalez79 said:It is my observation that certain individuals hide their blatant corruption behind a thin veil of faux-patriotism. They resort to labeling any dissent as un-American or labeling opponents as communists to deflect from their own malfeasance. Frankly, you are becoming tedious; these archaic insults have long since lost their sting.

By the way, Peninsula (my wife) is a 27-year-old woman with a perfectly healthy bladder, which stands in stark contrast to your own mental state.
