Can anyone help me out? Trying to bump up this processor: AMD Athlon64 X2 5200 + box, dual core, Socket AM2 from 2700 to 3000. Read some stuff about overclocking AM2 chips, but I’m pretty lost until someone actually points me in the right direction—so here goes nothing... motherboard is a Gigabyte M52L-S3P, sAM2, Nvidia NF520LE, SATA II RAID, LAN, and the power supply is a black Codegen midi tower 6221L-CA, 400W PSU w/12cm fan, USB, audio. Just wondering what I need to tweak in the BIOS since everything is set to default:

CPU Frequency (200) goes from 200-500 by increments of 2
PCIE clock (100) goes up to 145 by 1
CPU Clock Ratio (Auto) goes from X5 to X13—meaning X5, X5.5, X6...
CPU HT-Link Voltage (Normal) from +0.025V, 0.050V, 0.100V, 0.150V, 0.200V
Chipset Voltage Control (Normal) from +0.025V, 0.050V, 0.100V, 0.150V, 0.200V
DDR 2 Volt. Count (Auto) from +0.05V, 0.15V, 0.20V, 0.25V, RED 0.3V, 0.35V, 0.40V FLASHING RED 0.5V and 0.6V

I was thinking about swapping out my Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT—just curious how it stacks up against an Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT... since that 8600 GT uses DDR3 while mine is stuck on DDR2, I’d guess the 9600 GT would pull ahead at higher resolutions. Honestly, the only reason I'm even looking at this swap is because the 8600 GT has video TV out.

Is this card actually any better than an Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT with 1GB DDR2 and a 128-bit bus?...

I don't know—in this case, I’d probably go with the second one... looks like it actually has better cooling... plus I really need a card with S-Video support anyway.

So, which one of these two cards actually pulls more weight?

I'm looking for some expert opinions on this card—is it actually worth the cash? I need something with an S-Video output, and since this one has 1GB of DDR3 memory, I'm wondering if it can actually handle modern games on high settings... or if I'm just throwing money away when better options are out there for the same price.

So, I’ve got this old 1GB Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT lying around—it has HDMI, but since I don't have a TV that actually uses it, I'm looking to swap it for something with an S-Video out... wondering if anyone can suggest a card in the same ballpark or maybe even a step up, as long as it doesn't break the bank—maybe around $500... $200?

And yeah, obviously for gaming!

I'm not even bummed about buying that resetter—I'll just flip it to someone else for $67. It’s clearly an issue with the printer itself rather than the ink... at least, that's my guess...

Just tried running the resetter on that cartridge again—same exact result... absolute joke...

So, does this mean if I just grab ten different third-party cartridges, the printer won't actually realize what's inside?

Is there some kind of chip in there just playing tricks on me or something?

I mean, I’m not about to drop $133 on ink or $67 just to reset the thing... at that point, I might as well just buy a brand new printer for like $100—I'm no genius, but I can do the math...

Alright... I'm a little lost here 😁—I'll be the first to admit I'm a total newbie when it comes to printers...

So, I just picked up a full set of new inks—cyan, yellow, magenta, black, the whole works—and all the part numbers match my HP Stylus C66 perfectly. But for some reason, the machine just won't recognize the magenta in the third slot, even though the tank is totally full...

Is it possible the chip just fried or something?

Also, how much do those resetters actually run you, and what do they even do? Is it worth the money...

Can someone please help me out? I just picked up some new ink for this printer and everything was fine at first—it recognizes the black, cyan, and yellow just fine—but the magenta is sitting at zero. It says it can't be detected...

What's my move here?

Is there actually a way to fix this, or am I stuck?
I took it to a local repair shop a few days ago and all five cartridges were full, then suddenly the light starts flashing red like the magenta is empty...

I don't even know what to say—just asking the admins for some patience if there's already a thread for this. I've got a 500MB USB drive and searching this forum is honestly such a massive headache...

I’m not really up to speed on that compatibility mod—not sure if I should stick with Windows 7 or just roll back to Windows Vista SP1... What’s your take? And could you walk me through how to get Daemon working with that mod? Thanks in advance. Oh, forgot to ask about the activation key too—it keeps asking me to activate Windows like I've only got 30 days left. Same thing happened with Vista, but once I grabbed the new one with SP1, it was automatically "genuine." Is it even worth upgrading on this rig?

I'm running Windows 7 RC1 7100 and I can't get Daemon to work... anyone figured this out yet? I remember dealing with similar headaches back when Windows Vista first dropped—the old 4.0 version used to block everything, but now the newer one just won't install. It keeps telling me to restart and try again, but honestly, it gets me nowhere... 😢Also, does Windows 7 come with DirectX 10 pre-installed? And does anyone know if there's a way to grab DirectX 10 or 10.1 for Windows Vista...
