Looking for a new PDF on pregnant women in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I’m all for what Lotus is suggesting...👍👍
If we’re splitting up pregnancy topics by things like belly size, strollers, diapers, hospitals, and meal plans, then I guess the PDF should probably have those same categories broken out at the top too.

The lady could barely tell the difference between a Visa and a Mastercard.
She actually looked shocked when I told her I needed my Visa card.

So, what's the actual difference? 😂

A charge card is just a type of card, whereas Mastercard is the brand.... Mastercard can be either charge or revolving... Same goes for Visa, they can be charge or revolving, and obviously, so can American Express....

I think you might have gotten a little mixed up here....

Steven Reed said:She’s mistaken. If the token fee isn't bundled into the package—say, the rewards suite or the payment assistant—it’s a $24 one-time charge, while the loss amounts to $67.
Even the pros trip up sometimes 😍 🤷

@Jason Cooper50, regarding credit cards—annual fees are paid upfront, not in arrears. Let's not conflate the operations of an insurance provider with those of card issuers; they aren't exactly cut from the same cloth 😉
Since accepting card payments means you've already agreed to their general terms and conditions, I wouldn't advise arguing that you shouldn't have to pay (regardless of how much sense your logic makes). Honestly, I'd suggest trying to "request" a reversal at a local branch since you didn't actually use it—you wouldn't believe 🙄 but you can actually have a reasonable conversation with these people if you try)
And for heaven's sake, people—learn to ask the right questions before signing up. Don't wait until something happens out of pure ignorance and then start screaming about how banks are being malicious 😉

👍👍👍 bravo!!!!

neonhound10 said:Well, what exactly did you expect from a teller?? When I went into Chase, the lady told me that if I wanted to get a security token that wasn't part of a specific bundle, I had to make a one-time payment of $67 🙂

Maybe try talking to the branch manager and ask them to point out the exact clause in the contract that says you're obligated to pay that...

It’s basic karma—you get treated exactly how you treat them.

If you weren't using the card all year, why wouldn't you have returned it sooner? I guess.
And honestly, it’s easy to lash out at the employee who tells you the news... but they didn't write the bank's entire policy manual, did they?
Chase Sapphire Reserve in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I guess if you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve along with a checking account that has an overdraft limit of $333, then you also get access to Visa Installments...
My cycles are pretty regular too, usually 28 days... though they've dropped to 27 for the last couple of months. I'm expecting my next one around December 28th, so I guess I'll just take a test on New Year's Eve if nothing happens by then.
That’s kind of why I’m asking... when you're trying to conceive, you start imagining symptoms that probably aren't even there...
When is the best time to take a test? Like, once you miss a period, or can you actually do it before then?
ATM issues/locations? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Terry Howard said:Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. They probably have five or six different cards and just cycle the cash from one to pay off the next—it's a total loop.

Exactly... I see it happening all the time. 🤷🤷🤷

Whose card is this? I mean, which banks are we talking about?

Robert Williams2 said:I'm not sure about Chase, but I know for a fact that with Wells Fargo it's 6,000. I've successfully pulled that amount several times now...

To build on the thread title—the cash withdrawal limit is actually set by whichever bank issued your card. So, for any Chase debit cards, the limit is $1667 at any ATM worldwide. If you're using a different bank's card and their limit happens to be higher or lower than $1667, that's exactly how much you'll be able to pull out of a Chase ATM. I guess it all just comes down to your own bank...

Terry Howard said:Can I ask a "stupid" question?

What's actually driving people to pull cash out of ATMs using an American Express card???
That’s what a debit card is for—you use American Express for actual purchases, not for grabbing cash.

That's basically just moving money from one empty pocket to another.

If your checking account is bone dry, where else are you going to get it? You hit the ATM with the American Express and then just pay a massive fee for the privilege...

rustyridge32 said:What was your per-person serving size? I’m getting conflicting advice ranging from 3.5 to 9 ounces.

I think it was something like 1 pound for every 6 people... though maybe I'm wrong.

😍😍😍Is it actually silver in the book???😍😍😍

Jonathan Hill6 said:Thanks for the heads-up, I'll definitely keep an eye on that since I'm doing the whole parfait topping thing too.😍

Was the cake actually good, though?

It was pitch black...😍😍 Everyone was raving about the cookies and the cake, so I guess you don't need to worry.
We had parfait on top, Black Forest in the middle, and chocolate cake at the bottom... I guess.

Jonathan Hill6 said:Joshua Flores, remind me again when you guys went to that little bakery in Malibu? How much was it per slice? And did they use that heavy chocolate ganache or what?
The lady at the shop told me the ganache was $4.00/slice, and the whipped cream was $3.25/piece

Yeah, $4.00 we paid extra for the fondant...
Just make sure the restaurant actually chills the cake properly and gives you hot water for cutting.
Our first slice just turned into mush... my friend who's a pastry chef said the cake wasn't cold enough. The venue has a walk-in, but it doesn't chill like a real fridge, so everything got soft... fondant is tough enough as it is, and we had mousse on top... you can probably imagine how that looked...

The wedding was on June 7th.

Jonathan Hill6 said:Were you also cutting numbers here? Like, telling us there were fewer people than there actually were at the rally?

Yeah, pretty much. I already mentioned this above.
Basically, we had 140 people RSVP, but 10 of them didn't show up to the wedding. So, we ordered cake for 140 but just a smaller cake for 120.
In the end, there were 130 guests. We ended up with leftovers of both, though there wasn't much cake left... just one big slice of the main cake.
Here, this was the cake for 120 people, and we still have half of the bottom tier left over...
