Man, I went through this exact same thing a few years back. It always started right after I’d settle in to actually READ A BOOK on the subway... suddenly, a crowd would just swarm around me out of nowhere, like, so fast you could barely even breathe! 🤣
Guilty as charged! 😲 I’ve been chewing my nails since the 4th grade because of all the different ways people used to mess with me back then. It’s been years, and honestly, I still can't seem to kick the habit. 😲 This whole self-sabotaging thing doesn't just drive me crazy—it's annoying for everyone around me too. 👎 It happens basically every single time someone snaps at me or tries to push my buttons. 🤷
Thanks so much for all the advice, everyone 😘😘😘😘 Big shoutout to silverraven7 😉 Look, silverraven7, I’m just feeling incredibly grateful to God (if He's actually listening) that I finally feel like a normal human being again after two years of pure hell. Seriously, it's hard to explain how draining it is to have someone tearing you down every single day. Just try to imagine being in my shoes for a second. 😳 On another note—things have been pretty tense with my parents lately. I ended up failing half my semester, and now they won't stop giving me grief about it. Honestly, it’s mostly because I was dealing with those idiots constant verbal abuse every single day 😢 👎
That’s why my grades have started tanking lately, and now my parents are constantly breathing down my neck about it at home. They honestly have no clue what I’m actually going through. All they say is that I "don't know how to stand up for myself." Like, okay, thanks for the tip. How am I supposed to actually do that? I'm 16—how do you properly stand your ground against a pack of idiots who spend basically every single day messing with your head and won't leave you alone? Seriously, how???
So, I'm 16. Yeah, I'm basically the old lady of my class. When I was about 6, I had this crazy dream where I was in a massive car wreck and ended up paralyzed for two years. After two years of just... struggling, the dream ended with some intense leg surgery (sorry, blunt phrasing, I know) and suddenly I was back on my feet. I was 9 when that happened, which meant I started first grade at 9. Obviously, once everyone found out, they started giving me crap just because I'm the oldest in the room.😠
I honestly don't get it. Why does everything I touch just... fail? Or just fall apart after a while? I feel like a walking disaster zone. Take making friends, for example. Everything’s going fine, then suddenly everyone just decides they hate me out of nowhere. It's like these idiots just wake up one day and decide I don't exist anymore. 😠 It’s the exact same story with pretty much any job I try. Everything I attempt turns into a wreck. Like someone would say, I was literally born to fail. And it feels permanent, like there's no fixing it. At home, it's just constant criticism—being told I'm this or that. At school, people just talk trash, pushing me down constantly. All I hear is how stupid or slow I am, just endless garbage. It feels like they're doing it on purpose to wreck my confidence, and then they have the nerve to tell me, "Oh, you just need more self-esteem." How am I supposed to have any when people are constantly tearing me down? How do you even ignore the jerks who live to ruin your day—or honestly, your whole life? Some people can brush it off, but I can't even manage that. 😠 👎 help
Sandra King5 said:Thanks, but I'm being serious here—that stuff actually worked for me and a few others back when we were kids. Only difference was, we were trying to get girls to touch us, not trying to slice them up with knives 🙂. We were young, hormones were all over the place... I once took a knee to the groin from one girl, and another gave me a slap so hard my face still burns thinking about it 👍... but hey, we're on good terms now whenever we run into each other 🙂.
Basically, you just have to show some teeth and the little idiots will back off...

Look, Jerry Martinez5, I’ve got this messed up situation that’s been dragging on for four years now. Everyone just brushes me off, and whenever I try to speak up, people start yelling about how it’s "just a joke." I can't take it anymore. Honestly, I feel like I'm gonna snap... One day, some guy actually grabbed a knife, came at me, and started stabbing me until my hands were covered in blood... and nobody did a damn thing. Like, seriously, who am I even talking to here??? 😠 Stabbing is a joke! Quoth God, I have never heard anything like that!!! And now someone has the nerve to say it isn't serious!!! 😳
I’m honestly curious how they’d even react, because most of the time nobody gives a damn about how I feel anyway. It's always just people looking for an excuse to mess with me or tear me down like I'm some kind of loser. I’m mostly thinking about those absolute morons from my high school class. Just typical spoiled brats who have everything handed to them on a silver platter and then decide their only hobby is picking on someone. They picked me. It’s been this same stupid cycle for four freaking years now, and nobody does a thing to stop it. Everyone knows what's going on, everyone sees it, yet nothing ever changes.😠
