Ladies, please, 🙂, let’s try to actually stick to the topic—it feels like we’re drifting quite a bit here, and honestly, quite a few of these discussions already have dedicated threads in our archived PDFs 🙂
The room has been tidied up, so please, let's keep it that way 🙂
I’d really prefer much less drama moving forward 🙂
I honestly suspect not—I mean, if you’ve only got a few pills left in the pack, then ovulation likely already happened. .. but hey, miracles do happen sometimes, I suppose😍
And why not just bring those anxieties up with your OB-GYN instead? You could always just lay it all out there and see what they think—it might actually help to get a professional opinion on it all.
So, have you actually gone in for an exam lately...? Because—and I'm just thinking out loud here—if there were a pregnancy involved, things would likely be showing by now. If not that, then maybe we're looking at something like PCOS—though even then, you'd typically expect to see some cysts on an ultrasound
I honestly felt so hesitant about even buying the kit... I was actually worried it might be a dud, telling my husband it was just a $33 test and a $50 checkup... but then he went ahead and tore open the bag 😂 😂 😂
And there’s absolutely zero romance left in the mix...😂 😂 😂 My signature today—if you can call it that—is basically just a little squiggle... purely so I can stay on the same level as my sister-in-law, Oli. Now, get this—she’s officially the FIRST daughter-in-law in the whole family... good grief—I had no idea I was marrying into a dynasty of absolute icons...
Joshua Clark said:I haven't picked up a test yet.. Anything new? Well, no bleeding.. my breasts.. (hold on, let me check) they're still bigger than before.. To be honest.. I'm avoiding the test because.. I'm terrified that if it's positive, everything I've already been through starts all over again—and I am seriously scared of that. I want at least one more month to just... exist. If I'm pregnant, I'll know eventually without needing a plastic stick, but by then I want to have my head straight and find some actual courage (since I'm obsessing over this 24/7). If I'm not, then I'm not. I don't know.. if I am pregnant, I have nine months to figure out how to be a single mom to two kids. So.. I'm giving myself a little grace period. Just in case. And if I'm not.. then I'm staying celibate until the wedding 😍 😍 And if I never get married.. THEN YOU ALL ARE GOING TO BE READING SOME VERY FRUSTRATED POSTS 🤣
Thanks for asking
Come on now—I know plenty of "well-known" women out there who manage to navigate life quite successfully as single moms doing it all themselves... so why couldn't you be even more successful than they are? Besides, from what I can tell, you seem much more self-aware, independent, and frankly, a better person overall...
Just hold onto that baby you’ve got and keep your chin up—seriously, just keep your head up—and get to the ER or call your OB-GYN right this second regarding that bleeding. Once you get medical eyes on it, all this worrying and second-guessing will finally start to fade... if you truly feel like there's another little one in there, then fight for them. Fight for that other child.
But honestly, Thomas Scott5 makes a solid point—you really have to be pregnant for it to show up on an ultrasound—meaning just the gestational sac—and even then, it's only after you've already missed your period.
Everything is relative, isn't it? I actually found myself at the Mayo Clinic right at that exact moment when my cycle was—well, let's just say things were getting a bit unpredictable—and the doctor saw it all. She could see the heightened hormone levels, the sluggish digestion, the overactive ovaries... everything. So, naturally, I had to ask her—just to be safe, you know?—if there was any chance I was pregnant. And she looked me straight in the eye and said, "Absolutely not, not even a chance!" And then there I was... pregnant.
Honestly, if you asked me, tampons were hands down one of the absolute worst things I’ve ever had to deal with in my entire life... I only ever used them when I felt like I had absolutely zero other options—and even then, after just three or four days, I couldn't even sit down without feeling completely miserable
I’m currently seven months along, and—honestly—there are moments when the aches and pains just hit you out of nowhere and drive you absolutely mad. But I’ve learned to pivot quickly; I just find that one specific position where the pressure lets up, lie down, and everything settles back into place. I actually dealt with some sudden lower back issues during my first trimester, though looking back, those were practically nothing compared to what I'm dealing with now... Seriously, if you aren't using a pregnancy pillow between your knees while sleeping on your side, you are missing out—it’s an absolute game-changer. To be perfectly honest, though, the back pain isn't even my biggest grievance right now; it’s the veins and capillaries in my legs. They’re acting up so much that my legs look like a literal battlefield.
