I used to be the exact same way... if I didn't get some food in me first thing in the morning, I’d be a total zombie—just completely out of it. But things have finally leveled out for me lately; honestly, there are days now where I practically have to force myself to eat just to keep up.
Zachary White5 said:I also heard that thing about breasts—that if they grow a lot, it's definitely a girl because of hormones, but if they stay small, it's a boy... What do you guys think? 😬
Well, mine aren't exactly huge—maybe I’ve just gone up one cup size—and my boyfriend is 😁

They weren't even charging for the garment covers at Crystal...
We held our wedding at Crystal, and honestly, I can’t say enough good things—the food was spot on, the service was seamless, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations... we were all incredibly happy As for hair and makeup, we went to Chic Studio, and those girls are absolute pros 😁
Zachary Martin10 said:Hi ladies! So... I have a few questions to get things started... 1. For those of you in the Indianapolis area or nearby, where did you pick up your wedding rings? We haven't actually started looking yet, so any tips or recommendations would be amazing 😉 2. Does anyone have a recommendation for live music (like a band or musicians)? 3. Has anyone used Chic Salon in Indianapolis for hair and makeup? Were you happy with the results? Also, do they offer trials for hair and makeup? I'm wondering how long everything lasted through the night. 😕 4. Does anyone know a florist that carries veeery large candelabras??? 5. And damn, where can I find comfortable shoes that will let me dance all night long?🤷
😍😍😍
We picked them up at the local Walmart—from that one guy over in the electronics aisle... honestly, you couldn't find a better deal anywhere else. The TS shocks are absolutely top-tier—but since we’re tied up with our current deadline, we’ve basically got ourselves a revolving door situation instead. I’ve actually been to that salon myself—they do an absolutely flawless job, so you really can't go wrong there. Their makeup application is top-tier, too. If you want to see their work, just look them up on Facebook. I honestly have no clue about that one. I picked up these shoes at a local department store over in the county seat—they aren't exactly "runway ready" for a young girl, if we're being honest—but they'll do the job. At the end of the day, comfort is the only thing that actually matters. 😁
Roger Grant84 said:Does anyone at least have a contact number for Twist Off or Quattro Band they could DM me? I'm also open to hearing about that Art Band from Indianapolis.
Oh, look at Mr. Twist Off over here. Keep the phone numbers to the private messages, please. M. ...our guys are playing on May 12th.
I was actually over at the Crystal venue myself—we booked our space back in January 2011 for a May 2012 date. We were dead set on that specific timeframe, which is why we pulled the trigger so far in advance... If you have any other questions about the hall, just shoot them my way... 😁

Since my wedding is being held at the Marriott in Mexico City, I am considering options in Columbus, the Finger Lakes, or even the surrounding areas.
Thank you all very much 😍
The Marriott has plenty of glassware—I think they have those martini-style vases available.
So, my shipment of brandy flasks finally arrived today... about 30 of them, to be exact. They are absolutely gorgeous—each one has its own unique look. If you guys are interested, I'll snap some photos once I'm off the clock and post them here. 😁 Actually, I’m wondering which thread would be the best place to upload these so you all can see them.
cosmicviper7 said:They actually moved my post over to the Search for Tamburaš thread, but honestly, nobody is even responding there—so I’m just gonna ask again right here. Could you guys please shoot me a DM with the info for any folk bands you had play at your wedding? And I don't mean just background music, I mean a full group playing in the hall. Also, does anyone have a ballpark idea of what these groups usually charge? I already sent out a bunch of emails yesterday, but so far... crickets. Total silence. So yeah, I am begging for some help here. Our big day is October 6th, 2012, in Pasadena.
We used the Panonia Band for ours. If you want their number, just shoot me a DM.😁
I went ahead and put a reservation in at that florist in Indianapolis—the one called Fantasy... we haven't actually hammered out any of the specifics yet... because, honestly, I’m still stuck in indecision mode about what I actually want for the big day about a month from now.

Where are you guys looking for groom suits? We checked out Galileo, and while they have some decent options, nothing really stands out. Plus, there isn't anything affordable $667. We’re debating if he should go with a matte suit instead of those super shiny, silky formal ones, since he won't be able to wear those anywhere else later. What do you all think?
Arizona or that corridor area... you know, that massive market district... they have everything there from a needle to a locomotive.
My man is going to be hunting for his suit at Martin Arbanas because he needs sleeves that are twice the standard length—and he doesn't even know what color he wants yet. He's leaning toward a high-shine black, though; that's his dream look. 😁
Just wanted to drop a quick note to say... if you're in Arizona, you can find absolutely everything. Seriously, you can pick up every single wedding essential under the sun—whatever your heart desires is right there. I practically bought out half the store myself. We’re talking wide ribbons, thin ones, bows, fabric for the flower girls, cookie boxes, all sorts of decorative trimmings... honestly, even if they don't have a specific item in stock, they'll just 😁 for you.
I swung by that little corner market in Richmond earlier today, and honestly? It was a total bust. There isn't a single thing in purple—not even a hint of champagne pearl—nothing remotely close to what I actually need... just an absolute disaster.
Paul Fisher34 said:Hey there... I'm looking for some intel on Studio 69 over in Indianapolis. Does anyone know what their pricing is like? Also, just out of curiosity, how much of a deposit should I even be expecting to drop upfront for a photographer in general? Thanks! 🙂
I reached out to them about a year ago—back when we were coming in from Indianapolis—and they quoted us $1,200 plus an extra $100 for travel. I have no idea what their current rates look like, but if you're interested, I'd suggest getting in touch with them as soon as possible.
Thanks, Taylor Kelly2....I’m hoping I can track down 😁 I should be heading out next Tuesday—fingers crossed... though if anyone needs anything while I'm in town, just let me know, I'll be passing through
We’ve finally nailed down the design for the invitations, the favors, and all those little extra details... but can someone please point me in the right direction regarding where that boutique in downtown Chicago is actually located? I’m hoping to hit that shop first since I’ll already be passing through the downtown corridor anyway... I honestly can't wait to get started on my first favor so I can show you all what I've come up with 😍
