Hey there, MacGregor, Hummer / Mayo, and everyone else—how’s it going?
Don't you have a life outside of this? It seems like you're just trying to break up the boredom by copy-pasting the same old stuff on the IMF forums.
You're clearly trying to hawk that junk (pardon my French!), but it just isn't working for you.

There’s Billi powder.
You’re back! 🎉 🎉 🎉
A big meeting with UCLA and David Heber.
I have to admit, I really missed you! 😍
rustymoose54 said:If I'm reading you right, you wouldn't agree to an organ transplant because waiting on a list feels inhumane? And you're honestly certain you'd be happier doing three weeks of dialysis if your kidneys fail and there isn't a living donor available (maybe in an Asian country 😉)?

I really doubt anyone keeps those kinds of views once they actually get sick.
Sadly, I've seen firsthand just how much people will do to get healthy when things get serious. Or what they'll go to extreme lengths for when someone close to them falls ill.
It’s funny—usually, the people with the most stubborn stances are the first ones to flip completely.
brisknomad6 said:I told my family... my parents and my brother... and I told my partner too, since he's with me most of the time anyway...

Whenever the topic of organ donation comes up among friends, I just let them know I'm a donor, and if anyone asks for more details, I'll happily explain my stance.

I'm exactly the same way!
Plus, I always tell doctors that if they ever need to save someone's life, they have my full permission to go ahead and use my organs.

I actually keep my donor card right in my wallet next to my driver's license. Honestly, it’s been a lifesaver—I once had some police officers in a small town decide to let me off with a warning for speeding just because they saw the card!
It's pretty amazing how much it can help me out during my lifetime, and then I get to be helpful to someone else even after I'm gone.

Looks like another utility bill is headed my way!
I’ve definitely been on a bit of a spending spree this week.

I’ve been dealing with some serious lung issues lately. I can either head to a private specialist tomorrow to get some real answers, or I can sit on a three-week waiting list just to see my primary care doctor, who honestly won't get the diagnosis right (it's happened before!) and probably won't even bother ordering any scans.

Then just switch doctors, for goodness' sake!
What are you waiting for?
You can make the move whenever you want. You just have to sign a quick form stating something like, "I'm done with Dr. Smith, I want to see George instead."
You should try seeing my doctor. She’d try to send me to every specialist under the sun, but I don't let her get away with it!

Here you go, they offer the full service!
They have their own shop and also carry items at Mercartone.
Not sure about the others though!

Edward Fox20 said:Thanks for all the input! I think I'll go ahead and get an eye swab done, and I'm planning to hit up that Eye Care Center in King Cross. Does anyone know if there's one closer to the East Side of Indianapolis?

I'm not really sure. I usually stick to the West Side myself.
Those Bausch & Lomb lenses are actually pretty great—they package them under their own brand and they're super affordable, definitely less than $67.
It might be worth giving them a quick call first!

Oh man, it’s such a cute sight when everyone is huddled together at the edge of the boat, fully dressed, loudly snoring away inside their masks!

Robin Collins5 said:You're definitely going to need an eye swab!
I'm pretty sure even your primary care doctor can put in a referral for that.

I just assumed you had already seen a doctor.

A swab is a must. And you really have to be super careful not to mix up your lenses (left vs. right) and make sure they always go back into the correct case.

My eyes actually got inflamed a few times over the summer. It was just a combination of working 12-hour shifts on the computer plus my long commute driving straight into the sunlight. That was enough to do it—no viruses or anything else involved!

If your eyes are irritated, you really need to ditch the contacts until everything is completely healed.
Using them while they're inflamed just makes things worse. Make sure you scrub your case thoroughly, though honestly, it’s probably best to just grab a brand-new one.

I actually wear those lenses too, but I strictly stick to Allergan Complete solution. In my experience, Allergan products are always the most comfortable.
You can find those specific lenses with the small base curve over at the Eye Care Center near King Cross.

Oh come on, don't be so down about it!
If you feel like the thread isn't turning into much of a discussion, that's okay.
We've thrown a ton of advice your way, most of which you probably already knew anyway.
You got a little introduction to the world of the Democratic Party.
And hey, you had some fun along the way!

I honestly don't get why you're feeling blue.

If you end up buying it, please let us know if it's actually worth it!
I am totally suckered into buying those kinds of gadgets—I've already got about ten different massagers at my place. Last week, I even brought home one of those vibrating wellness tools. If I bring home one more gadget like that, my husband is going to plug me into the wall like a household appliance!

They actually carry the same stuff at our local CVS as they do over there, though it’s definitely cheaper in Europe.
If I remember correctly, the brand is Abtei.

Matthew Sullivan32 said:Check out this deal

It’s an online offer, and honestly, it's even the premium version.

A lady I work with and her colleague used to order it together, and I think shipping was about $13, so they just split the cost down the middle. Plus, some local pharmacies—especially those holistic ones—will deliver it right to your door at the standard retail price without any extra fees.

Just drive up to Denver and hit some shops on the way!
You'll blow through a fortune trying to get 25 kilos of that healing Democratic Party powder.
And by the second day, you'll feel like someone strapped fifty-kilo steel weights to your ankles from Bar. Seriously.
Forget ordering stuff online!

My mother-in-law actually grabs a few bags of wild chestnuts every single year and stuffs them right under her mattress. 😂
She swears it helps soothe her arthritis!
