I guess you aren't exactly an expert on carbs, huh? 😁

Actually, I know my stuff!
It wasn't strictly 0%. I just didn't feel like typing out "no potatoes, no pasta, no rice..."
But hey, I definitely stayed away from them in the end.
Anyone who spends as much time reading and writing here as I do knows exactly what I meant!
Just kidding!
I was actually thinking about Munich....
I don't really know anyone who does professional nutrition consulting.
For the most part, I pretty much live on veggies.
Today's lunch was zucchini moussaka, and tomorrow I’m making sautéed peas, carrots, and green beans with some chicken breast. Zero carbs! Plus a big salad—ideally a green one, but honestly, anything works.
How many nutritionists are in the mob group?

I'm assuming herbs count as veggies—that’s how I always think of them!

Hey, if you end up calling them, let me know what they charge.

🙂 I can't quite put my finger on it...
I stumbled upon this site once while I was searching for something else
From what I recall, there's a doctor with a last name starting with B... He runs his own private practice, he's an older gentleman, and quite a well-known specialist here in the States
Maybe someone else might remember who I'm talking about.
The website does a really lovely job explaining how those night lenses actually work.

I’ve been using those lenses in Indianapolis for about two or three years now.
I think I originally picked them up at an eye doctor over on Main Street.
I can't recall all the specific details off the top of my head right now.
Let me jump online and do a quick search—I remember seeing a website with a really catchy name—and once I find what I'm looking for, I'll post the info here!
Look, Macbudalaš, this forum is a public space, so if you have something to say to me, just say it here for everyone to see. You aren't really someone I’d ever bother chatting with via PM. I already told you that back when you were trying to talk me into attending that HL meeting.
Come on, man, show a little backbone and stop acting like such a pushover all the time.

Overnight lenses can be a great option—and I emphasize *can* be. Everyone's situation is different since it all depends on your specific prescription, corneal thickness, and a few other minor variables.

Keep in mind, these won't permanently reset your vision to zero. It’s more about temporarily shifting things around; depending on how long you wear them, your cells usually settle back to their original spots after a day or two.

The big perk is that you don't have anything in your eyes during the day, so you won't deal with debris getting trapped under a lens or that annoying dry-eye feeling.

Since your prescription seems like a good candidate, I think it's definitely worth looking into... provided you can get a trial pair first (I really hope that's standard practice here in the States!). Just make sure you only go through with it if they map everything out using a corneal topographer—a basic keratometer just isn't precise enough!
Always insist on materials with a high DK value, meaning they let plenty of oxygen through.

P.S. jadesailor14, these can correct minor astigmatism and nearsightedness up to about -4.00.

P.P.S. Neovascularization (those tiny blood vessels growing in) is usually caused by lack of oxygen, but thankfully that's mostly been solved. A bigger concern might be the formation of vacuoles or even edema (I think that's the right term we use here in the US! 🙂)

-4?
No way, not for me. I'm sitting at -7.00, plus I've got astigmatism on top of that.

P.S. U2 >>> :2up:

Wow, a true man of culture straight from the construction site!

I’m asking you ONCE AGAIN, 🙂 please stop sabotaging this thread. This info could literally save lives.. 🙂

Oh wow, look at us! A true humanitarian has arrived to save the day.
He’s clearly not just some guy selling Herbalife on his days off—no, he’s a total healer.

Is there any way we can just mute this person?

Do you happen to know what his prescription is, or if they actually work for astigmatism?

I totally get what my mom was saying in her first post.
Most of these clinics mostly go by their weight loss acupuncture because that’s how they pull in the most business. They definitely handle other things too, it's just that if someone comes in for a migraine, they'll probably have thirty people looking to shed some pounds right behind them!
Word on the street is he’s pretty intense. Like, super blunt.
If you don't hit your target weight, he'll absolutely let you have it.
Melissa Watson3 said:Do you like the new Washington, D.C.???
A friend of mine actually tried acupuncture to help with weight loss, and she was really happy with the results! But honestly, along with all those needles, she was also on this super strict diet and walking about 12 kilometers every single day, so I’m pretty sure she would have dropped the weight even without the acupuncture sessions...
Anyway, if you want her number, just shoot me a private message!

There are actually quite a few of them out there, and not all of them belong to that specific association or whatever you call it.
The one most people know is probably Richard Thompson33’s contact.
Then you've got Dr. Huber in Suburban Chicago, and Močinić over in Brooklyn.
Most of them are actually famous for weight loss treatments since that's what brings most people through their doors rather than general healing.
I know both of them are trained in acupuncture, and Huberica stays really active attending different seminars. Plus, they're both MDs! Huberica is also pretty affordable compared to others.
There's also this lady—I think she's in Small-town Ohio—who finished an acupuncture program in Germany that's part of a standard medical degree. Word is, she's absolutely phenomenal!
If any of them catch your eye, just let me know and I'll do some digging to get you their info.
You can pick up some whey or other dairy byproducts from a local dairy, I think it was one out in the Midwest.
You’ll definitely find it at Walmart or Kroger. It usually comes in those square plastic liter bottles. A friend of mine absolutely loves it and says it's great!
Whereabouts?
Which city are we talking about?

By the way, did you get my private message about the boat?
dustycanyon6 said:You're completely clueless! Saying sugar isn't a "direct" health threat? How can you even write that?! It's like you've never even heard of insulin or leptin!

Well, what do you expect from someone who spent their whole career working construction?
Plus, his English isn't exactly great, so why bother wasting your time pasting quotes for him?
And he’s got this funny little logic where he thinks, "I don't need to know the facts to claim they're true, because someone else already knows them"—like our friend David Heber, for instance.
