Honestly? I'm pretty sure they aren't even forgetting them. It's more like... they just don't give a damn.
Why does everything need some damn permit, a course, a class, or some official approval? Is it the only way any idiot can be allowed to have kids these days?
neonsurfer32 said:Well, I'm the one who wished it on another woman... and honestly, I'm still not sure if I regret it. I said it to Marijani Petir after one of her speeches during the Congress on the MPO law. It was back when someone very close to me was going through yet another failed IVF cycle, and Petirka had the nerve to start talking about God and all those other ridiculous excuses for why this disgrace they call a Law should pass. So, yeah, I wished it on her. I thought, fine, go ahead and have kids, but let it take five tries to get there... She deserved to feel a little bit of that poison herself. 😠😢
I hate summer. I used to be all about it 🙂...now the heat just makes me want to lose my mind.
Just ran into those "genius" parents at Target—had two kids, maybe 5 or 6 and 3 or 4 years old. Kids who can clearly walk on their own, right? But nope, they crammed both of them into one of those shopping carts with the little seat—not even using the actual car seat, just shoving them BOTH in there. Like, seriously? Am I really expected to put my groceries in a basket that's been covered in toddler footprints? 🤮 😠
MadnessInMethod said:anyway, can you just lie on your ass for three months because, I don't know, you broke a leg? just a random thing that happens to coincide with being pregnant. (all you need is enough imagination, and finding an alternative excuse where I'm not some total psycho is easy enough. if you want. if not, fine, I'll just change my handle to Freddy Krueger or Jason Voorhees)
No way. 😳 😛 Second bolded part: what if you lack the imagination, but you have plenty of malice and zero empathy for others? Then we end up with this☕ Look, go ahead and crucify me, but: reading a harmless comment about weight and seeing a psychopathic curse about complications and risking the baby's life—well, damn, I honestly think there’s something broken in your head... You can interpret that comment in TWOways; why take the twisted, dark humor route instead of the sick one? To me, that says more about how someone reads than about the person who actually wrote it...
I can't stand this stupid "surviving in the wilderness" show concept—you know the one—where some hyperactive meathead drags himself through random backwoods, from deserts to rainforests, acting like he's actually "surviving." The whole thing is just a massive, testosterone-fueled macho ego trip, featuring some idiot killing innocent animals just to have a bite to eat or to feel warm, all while pretending he's some kind of genius 😠 And honestly? As much as the concept and that guy bug me, I’m even more annoyed by "intellectual" men like my husband, who sit there watching it like they don't realize a full camera crew wouldn't last five minutes if that terrain was ACTUALLY inaccessible. Most likely, as soon as those cameras cut, the guy crawls right back into some luxury RV with AC and caviar for a pedicure... 🙄
Sean Long4 said:I might just throw my two cents in here... Honestly, I have my doubts about whether MAGA actually meant everything they wrote to their godmother, but when emotions run high, people tend to say things they don't really mean.
It’s the same for me—I wasn't exactly losing my mind at my mother-in-law this morning, but yesterday? I felt like I could have ripped her head off. So, yeah... sometimes your fingers move a lot faster than your actual thoughts.
Honestly? My gut tells me she was low-key wishing her every extra pound in the world 🤣 —and let’s be real, doing absolutely nothing is the fastest way to get there.😁 I wouldn't mind it myself; plus, it might stop them from leaving right after the baby comes.😛 Michelle, you better find me a reliable recipe for getting rid of these bugs before I go into labor... 🙂
Man, I just don't get it... 🤷 If there's some unhinged comment about weight gain and the options are: a) saying that just lying around is the easiest way to pack on pounds (I mean, isn't that common sense at this point?) and b) the idea that any sane person would actually *want* pregnancy complications; how on earth does a comment about gaining weight turn into this? What happened to reading comprehension? Did it just die out somewhere? 🤷
dustysurfer68 said:I am seriously losing my mind over this hair. My hair. Look, normally I’m totally fine getting waxed every couple of months when I'm not pregnant. It's a reasonable schedule. But since I've been pregnant? Waxing is officially out of the question for me. I went for a session exactly 18 days ago, and honestly, I feel like I could go back right now...😠
Just more proof that we’re all wired differently—even when it comes to this stuff. Don't even try to lecture me 🤣—I haven't had a single stray hair since I found out I was pregnant. I shave my legs maybe once a week just to feel somewhat human. As for the bikini area? Barely touched. And my underarms? Haven't seen a razor in at least two weeks... 🤷 Changing gears: it's not just the hair, this heat outside is actually making me lose my mind!!! I'm dying here, and I don't know what to do because the humidity is absolutely wrecking my sinuses... 😢
My morning’s been a total shitshow—sorry for the language—but what’s really getting under my skin is this whole Bambie’s Mom Syndrome thing. MAGA will know exactly what I’m talking about, and for everyone else... well, look it up if you need to.
Right this second: The phone rings—good afternoon, this is so-and-so from [redacted] Corp, we’re calling to let you know you've won a free gift bundle featuring a magnetic bracelet that helps with... ughhhhhh... (wasn't really listening) and some "French women's perfume" (absolute riiiiiiiip 🤣 🤣 🤣); everything is totally free, delivered right to your door, all you gotta do is cover the shipping fee of $31. 🤦 Alright, starting a contest here—anyone want to guess how I responded? ☕ Seriously though, are there actually people out there where this kind of scam works?! 🤷
🤣 hollowhound32, I’m basically just signing your name here 😁 When I see titles like "how much to hurt," I’m mostly just cringing at the sheer stupidity of them... I skim through the stuff about maternity wards—it’s always just "a hundred women, two hundred boobs" (plus three hundred different opinions 🤣)—but this whole thing about what to wear? It's giving me a literal nervous breakdown. And as if the forum wasn't already a mess of conflicting advice about sleeves—I’ve heard half-baked theories from actual doctors and nurses too! Can we all just get on the same page for once?
Everything is getting on my nerves today—especially my husband. And honestly, even though it’s a relief that those idiots from ESPN finally cleared out of the headlines (about damn time!!!!), they just left a massive vacuum for Novak Djokovic to fill. Look, I get it, it's not even the same thing, but seriously? No matter what I click on, it's just him, over and over. I've had enough. And now I have to deal with Rade Šerbedžija being all over the news too. Just great. 😳
Sarah Adams3 said:I’ve been reading through your posts, and I suppose I’d be wrong if I said I didn't agree with you at all. It seems a bit strange, doesn't it? I mean, after everything we went through following Grandma's passing, this just feels like too much. Giving an interview to a newspaper—for what purpose? Is it supposed to help her find a daughter? They really crossed a line here. I guess I'm just worried about what might actually be going on behind the scenes.
And you think that’s actually popular😳... people get a feature for having a new kitchen, or "My Exotic Journey," or even "First Haircut for My Poodle." It’s a slippery slope, right? One minute it’s trivial fluff, and the next—I’m sure we’ll be seeing "The Agony of Losing My Dearest ________," "My Chemotherapy Journey," and soon enough, "My Hemorrhoids"—complete with full photo spreads... I honestly can't wrap my head around it. No one could convince me that people who parade their tragedies through the tabloids during their darkest moments are actually sane.
I’m trying my best to keep it together here—really, I am—because I’ve never seen anything quite like this. I’m attempting to just take it easy and let things roll, you know? But seriously, damn, maybe we’re all just losing our minds? My family was already struggling to stay afloat after my grandma passed away—and we're talking about a woman who lived to be 86 years old, had a full, long life, was surrounded by family and love, and died peacefully of old age. And then this happens: a 17-year-old kid left completely alone overnight in some horrific way... and what’s the response? They jump straight into giving interviews to every bottom-shelf tabloid out there?! Kill me now if I'm missing something... because nothing about this makes sense to me.

Honestly, I’m fed up with that girl and her whole family. It infuriates me that they’ll probably try to hunt down a hundred different scapegoats instead of anyone actually taking personal responsibility. You’ve got this overprotective mother going one way, and the daughter heading in the complete opposite direction. A perfect example of a disaster. Besides, I just can't wrap my head around this part; a seventeen-year-old girl just hops into the cab of a truck driver she doesn't even know... 🤔 Is it just me, or am I losing my mind here?
If that's the case, then there's a hell of a lot of us losing our minds, because everyone I talk to feels the same way. Though, looking at the comments online, it seems like that's not the majority view. Look, I get it—a crash like that was basically inevitable; and sure, maybe she was forced into the truck against her will (maybe, whatever)... But it kills me when I think about how families like Kristina Šušnjar's or Angel Bešlić's must feel... man, the search for those girls was practically treated like a "well, better luck next time" situation—but now we have this unprecedented circus... where's the justice or equality in any of this?🤷
I get how this sounds, but I honestly CANNOT help myself—I am so sick and tired of this endless hunt for this little girl! For God's sake, we've got the police, the National Guard, SWAT teams, hundreds of people out there! It’s like nobody else has ever gone missing before... They practically stumbled upon some other poor kid by accident, yet this is turned into this never-ending circus. While the media types are busy practicing their soundbite skills, I even saw that the mother, looking totally battered, gave an interview to Gloria. 🙄 🤦
@Austin Ruiz42 - you’re in the wrong thread 👍...and if it helps at all, you aren't alone here—though, honestly, some of us have it way worse than you do 😁. This heat is killing me; drink water, take it easy, stay cool... there's no other way. 🤷 My (again 🙄) biological father set me off with his usual outbursts... seriously, just beat it already...
it drives me nuts when stuff just slips right out of my hands 😠 currently training by picking things up with my toes 🙏
Aaaaaaaaa what a joke 🤣 (picked this up from some Dalmatian friends; can't even remember what we used to call it back home 🙈 ) Thanks for the breakdown. And please—don't get me started on toes—mine currently look like tiny little donuts 🙂
