jadeorca42 said:Does anyone actually buy the idea that we’re headed for a war between the USA and Turkey? I mean, come on. The US simply cannot—and honestly, just won't allow itself to—lose Turkey. If they did, they'd basically be handing them over to Russia on a silver platter, which would finally give Russia that long-awaited access to warm waters after all these centuries. It wouldn't just be a missed opportunity; it would be like letting the opponent score while you've already conceded one... we're talking a two-goal deficit right out of the gate.

Honestly, this whole "warm water" obsession in the 21st century is turning into a myth. Or maybe just a historical anachronism.
Since they have massive fleets of icebreakers at their disposal now, the desperate need for warm waters isn't even really a thing anymore. Unless, of course, they're looking for colonies in the tropics. Besides, what does "warm water" even mean in this context? Are we talking about a spot where we can splash around in a light breeze without any major waves?
Fetari 🤦🤦

After a brief moment of calm, they’ve gone right back to their usual routine: squandering a hard-earned victory.

It’s a textbook example of a natural warming cycle.

That was a very wise observation on your part.

That brings us to the ultimate question. Just how much of this is actually caused by human impact on the environment, and how much of it is simply the byproduct of natural shifts in our climate?

Noah Roberts46 said:Globalists are weaponizing climate change, and I honestly don't know how anyone falls for it. All these celebrities and self-proclaimed "activists" preach about saving the planet while flying private jets and cruising on massive yachts—it’s pure hypocrisy. Then they have the nerve to lecture the rest of us. Give me a break. It's just as hard for us laypeople to weigh in because the science keeps shifting; you have scientists making grand claims one day only to be proven wrong the next. Yet, some things are just common sense. Why are the people backing Greta busy shaming Americans when China is dumping fifty times more plastic into the ocean? Or look at India's emissions levels. This whole movement is just about chasing headlines through sick, performative politics.

Well... exactly. It's become quite trendy to exploit children to push various agendas. After all, they are still relatively pure, making it much easier for people to fall for that kind of pathetic emotional appeal. It's the same story with countless humanitarian drives. If it turns out to be a middle-aged person leading the charge, there might be some hesitation... but if a kid is front and center, everyone's attention is captured instantly.

Try looking around Broadway.

What a massive letdown for Ferrari, which really just serves as another gift wrapped up for Mercedes-Benz. 🤦

I’m genuinely starting to worry that after three years of nothing but disappointment, we still aren't seeing any real structural changes. It feels like we're just bracing ourselves for another season of cold showers.

but for what reason? They handed us a communist mess that blew up right in our faces during the nineties.
While Europe was coasting along enjoying democracy, we were stuck acting like primitive tribes, tearing each other apart just to get the basic rights a normal citizen had years before us...

So, if I've followed your logic correctly, I’d ask you not to paint those old communists as some kind of saviors...

Pure bliss. Everything was just wonderful and perfect. No unrest, no rigged elections, no mysterious assassinations, none of that. 😁

If you're actually going to change your handle based on what you just wrote, I suggest: Koba ☕

Look, I’m also against "sterilizing" the trolls, but let’s show a little empathy for the moderators here. It’s a bit unrealistic to expect someone to volunteer their time, sitting at a computer during every single El Clásico, making sure the shouting matches don't spiral into actual insults, and then handing out cards fairly and promptly. But then again, someone has to do it, otherwise, these discussions would just devolve into pure, unadulterated trolling.

So, forget about restlesssurfer97, Bryan Adams6, Michelle Palmer6, or Anthony Jackson2, and forget about Barcelona. As far as I'm concerned, the Real Madrid fans can take a permanent ban for all I care. ☕

That one's already taken. ☕

Like I said, there's no politics here—we're talking facts. This whole commemoration might only bother someone who doesn't respect the sacrifice made for Pittsburgh.

Well, he finally got what was coming to him.
You might want to try spreading your "revolution" along some different, more well-trodden paths.

Patrick Martin said:So, what I'm hearing is we've got the sports package (Madison Square Garden + ESPN) on DirecTV, but now the Champions League is just... gone? Like, totally off the menu?

Honestly, you don't even need to watch the LP until the quarterfinals hit. That's when the real action starts anyway.
So, I just received this package addressed specifically to me, but here’s the kicker: I never actually ordered anything. It wasn't supposed to require a signature, yet somehow I ended up signing for it anyway. Once I finally opened the box, I found myself staring at a bunch of items that aren't even things I'd ever consider buying, let alone purchasing. Now I'm stuck wondering—should I just pack this whole mess back up and drop it off at the local Post Office?

I don't have an issue with the small-scale players who are being squeezed by the government. On the other hand, when it comes to people like the Koch brothers or similar figures...

Every single nation... every society has its share of regime-backed oligarchs. The state breathes life into them, and the state can just as easily suffocate them. It is incredibly rare for any one individual to actually become more powerful than the government itself.
