Running out of RAM: Any fixes? in IT Support ·
It’s likely just poorly phrased... you simply don't have enough headspace on the laptop's hard drive. It’s a fairly common headache these days.
One could theoretically tether via a mobile hotspot, assuming you have an unlimited data plan so you don't end up staring at an astronomical bill from Verizon.

Basically, this argumentative unknown killed that even more combative unknown.
Fine, I get the gist of that much. ☕
But listen, Nicole Moore9,
let's be honest—if you didn't actually kill her, I probably would have done it myself within a week or two...

...regardless, you are responsible 🤷
(because, damn it, people shouldn't just murder others on a whim)

Regardless, the most concerning part of your post is where you claim they won't let you onto 'Psychology':

They can't either. 🙂

As far as I am aware, psychologists don't have the right to conscientious objection,
so accordingly, you should at least be granted access to the 'Psycho-couch' subforum...

Mind you, that's without a referral or needing to explain why you might benefit from talking to some professionals (or even your layperson companions) over there...
😵 let alone having to beg inflexible, heartless bureaucrats here like you're at some local town hall just to get permission.

Your Holiness,

certain individuals would likely disagree with You

so help me God

perhaps instead of "mankind," we should use "manchild" 🤷

yet even in reality, heinous crimes are scrubbed from the record, much like how this platform hosts plenty of personalities who possess neither intellect nor morality. Personally, I have endured far more severe insults myself, yet the moderators failed to act (I didn't file a formal report, but others certainly did! ...take note, if there are insults directed at me, there is no reaction) .. So, while maintaining a firm course is all well and good, it is indisputable that certain members of this crew are perpetually suffering from seasickness—and I wouldn't say that is merely due to the ship tossing about on the turbulent waves of reality .. life is an ocean 😉 but the rhyme is intentional 😁

My apologies, but I feel compelled to offer a slight correction...
There is also the matter of the forum itself. In my experience, while using various computers and different network connections, I have frequently encountered situations where I had to log in multiple times in rapid succession. For instance, you might see your status indicator turn green, yet the system fails to actually authenticate the session at the top of the page. And so, one continues through several "login" attempts...
The very next moment, you may find yourself being kicked off due to protocol interference if someone else attempts to access your account.

No one is infallible, after all. 🙂

There is a little trick where you hit the reload button—that "clumsy" arrow icon 😁 located in the top left corner near those horizontal arrows (the third symbol)... try that when the host fails to connect with you.
Unfortunately, Casey Bennett, you won't be able to help 😉 in this particular instance.

It likely depends on how many connections or failed attempts are currently queued up.

My apologies, though I find your redirection rather clever... you've essentially introduced a new variable into our equation.

🙂 It’s more than what was originally suggested. Apparently, being "the new guy" means I wasn't precise enough—I meant to construct a single sentence from the song titles, but I suppose this works too: a three-act dialogue. These are quite compelling tracks, regardless.

Topic: The format is simple. List two tracks under categories A and B. Under A, the song title must be a single word consisting of an infinitive verb without the "to" prefix. Under B, use the exact same verb, but in its past tense form ending in "-d" or "-ed." I am also including verbs that function as nouns, regardless of whether they actually act as verbs within the context of the song title itself.

01a Scritti Politti - Hypnotize
01b Simple Minds - Hypnotized
02a Jennifer Paige - Crush
02b Cocteau Twins - Crushed
03a David Sylvian & Robert Fripp - Damage

How to connect a laptop and a tablet wirelessly? in IT Support ·
Sam Peterson6 said:When I connect them via cable, nothing happens; the computer doesn't even acknowledge the connection.
Furthermore, when I enable Bluetooth on both the tablet and the computer, they fail to detect one another, yet they somehow manage to pick up

other nearby laptops.

Can other devices actually see the tablet's Bluetooth signal? There is such a thing as an invisible mode. Typically, there is a six-digit code required to make it "visible"... at least, that was the standard for factory-set devices back in the day.

Jack Cook7 said:Alright folks, listen up. If this whole system were actually built to handle complaints and fix things, you wouldn't be whining in the first place—and don't even get me started on the "fixing" part.

So, here's the deal, you bunch of complainers: you’ve got nothing to gripe about because you’ve basically trapped yourselves. It's simple logic. Since there's nothing to complain about, there's nothing to fix. Look, if the number of complaints is dropping, that means the system is getting better and better. Once you all finally stop complaining and quit messing around with an honest world that shouldn't have to waste its time reading your baseless nonsense, the system will be perfect.

You shouldn't drink your first glass of bourbon too fast; the side effects can be unpleasant. It is an objective truth that most complaints are rejected, yet there remains a segment where moderators refuse to admit their errors and flagrantly abuse the "guidelines." However, one must concede that they are persistent.

Is this happening on a constant loop, or was it just a one-off occurrence? Honestly, there isn't much way to tell from what she's saying, other than the fact that she likely stumbled upon an OS bug.
Just a bit of technical insight: if you’re running Windows 2000, installing UDF is a guaranteed way to kill it, or you can simply crash the system by opening two blank Word documents at once.

If she happened to install some software recently, she should try uninstalling it via Safe Mode—assuming she actually knows how to navigate that. Regardless, the instructions provided clearly outline what needs to be done.

thank Andrej driftingtinker I hold you in high regard, much like I do everything else that actually matters. KCLCK He’s among the best on the international stage, and he actually has the integrity to take himself off the field when he makes a mistake. Or perhaps I should just dig through the archives to find out why I was docked 400 points—apparently, I failed to show sufficient empathy regarding the death of that drunkard at minimum wage, or the parasite who still owes tens of millions of dollars to the citizens of the United States. Instead, my grief over the natural passing of my pet sea slug was deemed far more significant. 🕺 It seems rather inconsistent, doesn't it? I find myself being branded an anti-alcohol activist, yet I was previously labeled an antisemite. The logic is quite flimsy.

I have a certain appreciation for fine spirits, much like my preference for those striking women that the Jewish community tends to overlook. 🤷

He is, quite frankly, a decent man. Cuka He claimed I should have received more, yet he failed to deliver on that promise without even offering an explanation as to why. It feels like a blatant case of underestimation. 🤔

Donna Doyle2 said:Hmm, I actually ended up getting banned for three days once just because I mentioned that most of the refugees coming from Syria haven't even finished elementary school! After that, I started getting hit with a ton of warnings on my older posts for things like quoting a massive thread and just saying "I agree," which apparently goes against the subreddit rules and whatnot.
But honestly, maybe it was just because of KCL's intense biases, who knows?

🙂 Most of them hail from the region encompassing Iraq, Turkey, and Syria, and they possess absolutely no formal schooling.
In my experience, that accounts for over 90%.
It isn't a moral judgment, but it is certainly an indicator of "something."

As for the "ban," let us not dwell on it. One assumes the moderators derive some level of satisfaction from such things... given they lack any specialized knowledge, which, frankly, isn't required anyway. But I don't wish to be overly critical; most moderators are perfectly fine, and occasionally, one finds a capable female moderator among them. 😁.
