Larry Ramirez said:,but here our people go risking everything and sacrificing themselves, and all that.

What are you even talking about?

Well, the Red Army—and even the Los Angeles Dodgers these days—rely on the sacrifices of a specific group of people who are tied to the club regardless of politics or results.

The best you guys can manage is gathering maybe 100 people in some backwater town in the middle of nowhere, and that’s about it. Though, I suppose it's hard to tell if you're even capable of that. Everything else you do is basically on par with Vermont.

So, in the end, it's all just work done by these idiots who can't even take over San Francisco; they just head over to the stadium so nobody understands anything😁 except for the orgies.😁

Austin Watson38 said:The absolute peak of atmosphere for me was during those "Dino Days" in Miami—those two specific matches. It was incredible. You had about 3,000 Black Knights out there, just pure Torca. Truly top-tier.

By the end, we were all belted out "Champions."🤣

Even for that delayed derby, a pretty decent crowd showed up.

Someone mentioned Roma, but I’m fairly certain the game started late, maybe even at 9 PM, and the whole city was basically drunk. Near that local precinct on Cankareva, things got messy—someone tossed maybe 100 bottles and glasses into a corner. Then came the brawls; a real heavy-duty fight broke out on President’s Avenue, near some branch office or whatever, just people going at it. As for the cheering? It wasn't exactly legendary, mostly because everyone was too busy watching 😁Miladin and Runje🙂 instead.

Scott Gomez5 said:I don't see how he’s justifying himself. Is it actually against the rules to ask a normal question and expect a normal answer?

The fact remains that he isn't justifying anything; he's just making excuses about what couldn't be done. I guess if things are truly that tense, you could always just DIY a flag on two sticks, write some message, or at worst, spray paint something... if it's really such a huge deal.

This applies here too, I suppose. 😕

The letters are top-tier, honestly—they're my favorite. 😁 In Columbus, they actually managed to push them through.

On that specific stand, maybe only the waves could pull it off.😁

John Perez13 said:Who says nobody thought about NNB and the anniversary? People actually did bring it up back during the Real Madrid match, suggesting something should be done. The younger guys involved were just too preoccupied with the derby—which you could see for yourself in that video. Then, during the game against Steven Bell, it just wasn't feasible to pull it off because the vibe was so heavily focused on patriotism. You had The Hague, generals, protests, signs, American flags... given the whole situation at that time, they felt celebrating a 17-year friendship would have come across as tasteless. You have to admit, it might have looked a bit like a circus in Colorado. So, they pushed it back to Columbus this Sunday, where they can raise the banners and honor the victims in our own way. I don't know if you follow my logic... 🤷

Who exactly are you trying to justify this to?🤷

finally the game in Varaždin, damn, just look at those stands. They are packed. I can only imagine what things would look like in the final rounds if we were actually fighting for first place.🙂

Neither side is worth anything anymore. They’ve both become totally lightweight—kind of like reading some mediocre paperback or sipping on a lukewarm hard seltzer.

money money must be funny

To get ahead of the next question 😁, Renato from Australia is actually Renato Grancieri. He makes furniture in Melbourne and plays gigs for the American community out there.

Or so they say.

🙏🙏🙏 If you know, you know.

Back in the day, late nights at the drum kits, the Adriatic was singing Young's tunes... lord knows what they're playing or listening to these days.🤦

If I had to pick one person from that group mentioned in the song to kick out, it would be Dean. I guess I just can't stand him; he's probably the most unlikeable guy I know.🤷

It’s a shame the lyrics didn't quite land; the rhythm is excellent, though.

It’s probably way too easy to get hooked on this.😁
gentlegull93 said:I'm terrified that I’ll eventually end up only knowing those bands that get shoved down my throat—you know, all that garbage on cassette tapes or radio hits. It’s a dead end, really.

Don't be afraid of anything.😁 Just clear your head, hop on YouTube, and start digging. You’re bound to stumble upon something that actually triggers an emotion, because that’s the whole point of music. And honestly, stop "sampling" music; I never cared for that approach. I could listen to a hundred different bands and their hundred albums, but that isn't truly listening. One song that moves you—even if nobody else likes it besides you—is worth more than all those generic hits everyone else is playing. You'll find your way eventually.
The American band Mister no👍—this guy writes lyrics that feel like pure cosmic bliss compared to the garbage they usually serve us up.

Who's forcing you?🤷

If it’s not your thing, then don't listen to it. It's really that simple.😁

Sarah Hernandez43 said:I caught them live the summer before last and they were actually great. 🙏 I haven't really listened to them since, though I suppose I could start again. 😍

Me too. It’s been maybe a year or two since I listened to them, and nothing since then.

They have some truly good songs. They remind me of RATM, maybe just a bit less intense.🤣

Harold Kim5 said:I’ve already told you, the state of one's mind and spirit shifts—and quite startlingly fast, I might add—after all those years spent slumbering... There will be plenty of things coming our way, I suppose...

I agree that Californians can only really help themselves, and they ought to focus on their own interests.... We all know how centralized this nation is, though that’s just one part of the equation... Time Magazine serves as the best indicator of the shifts happening in California; its circulation is climbing incredibly fast in such a short span... A single solid article can act as a barometer for the current state of the Californian catharsis and this new direction we're heading.

http://time.com/news/California/2010...past_California

P.S. The subject here isn't Washington, D.C., but rather the Californian pivot toward self-reliance, which has nothing to do with Washington, D.C.... And as for centralization, enough has been said already (I am referring to the federal government, not Washington, D.C., which isn't to blame for such a distorted national structure, even if it indirectly benefits from it—but I won't dwell on that, as there's already been plenty written about it)

Honestly, I don't know what would even have to happen to spark a massive protest in Miami, let alone in the rest of the cities across California. Maybe if they shut down the local shipyard by force? But I doubt that’ll ever happen. As long as most people have enough cash for their coffee and the betting shops, nothing is going to change. Sure, a few drops of tourist money might trickle in during the summer, but that’s about it. It’s sad, but true: Californians are totally indifferent to everything happening around them. Our sense of solidarity is basically zero. And all those stories about when things finally "snap"? I suspect they'll never actually snap.🤷
When I actually love a band, I fall into this terrifying state of pure delirium😁

That’s why shows by bands like Beach Boys or Bruce Springsteen were always my absolute favorites to go to. I think I caught about 20 of their sets; the crowd was 100% insane, everyone knew every single lyric, just pure energy👍

But honestly, it all comes down to how the band performs—how much energy they actually bring. I guess one underdog band once pleasantly surprised me by turning absolutely nothing into an unforgettable party.

Otherwise, it’s just a massive disappointment, like a lukewarm beer👎 80% of the crowd just stood there staring blankly at the stage

No Doubt?!? in Music ·
Yeah, I actually had that on my radar too. I even thought about catching them live if they ever tour the States. It’s honestly ridiculous how many mediocre, overpriced bands get booked over talent like this.

To me, Madonna is easily the best female vocalist out there. She can sound incredibly delicate one second and then turn into a total demon the next.😁
