Look, the last Spider-Man was actually a very solid Spider-Man movie. Sorry, but the massive box office numbers and the critical reception don't lie, and the fans clearly love it too (we're talking a 98% audience score). Even if you choose to ignore the money as a metric—which is fine—the fact remains. Saying it wasn't good just doesn't hold water. And frankly, I think he's the only one who can actually save the MCU or pull off some massive team-up if anyone is actually concerned about profit margins. Why? Because he’s more popular than the rest of them combined; people just adore him. But hey, since Sony is tangled up in the whole thing, they're pretty limited in what they can do since it isn't entirely their property. Think about it: which MCU film following Spider-Man has pulled in anywhere near or over a billion dollars? None of them. Not even a single one. Everything else has been a bit of a mess with mediocre reviews.
This honestly doesn't look good. And if they go ahead and kill him off—since it says there WAS a god now—just to swap him out for some female version, I guess I'm officially done with Marvel.

Seriously, this is just complete garbage. Watching that trailer felt like I was looking at some low-budget parody rather than a major release. It’s hard not to think back to how much hype the God of War Ragnarok trailer actually generated... but hey, I guess we'll see what happens.

The comment section under this trailer is absolutely wild 🤣—you can read just about anything in there (apparently someone thinks we're getting a Batman with superpowers), and people are totally lost. They have no clue which universe this actually fits into because the footage throws in references to all three Spider-Man iterations, the MCU, and everything else under the sun. It looks decent enough, and honestly, I think Jared Leto pulls off the role quite well, but I don't see the point of any of this. This whole concept they've cooked up—this entire cinematic universe—feels completely pointless to me, even if you set Spider-Man aside. I really don't get what Sony is playing at here. Is their only goal to squeeze out a few extra bucks by confusing the audience? Are they just going to churn out a standalone movie for every single Spider-Man villain, link them all together, and eventually force us into some sort of Sinister Six crossover? 🤷
The trailer is decent enough, though I have to say the CGI looks pretty pathetic. I’m really praying it doesn't turn out that bad in the actual movie. Still, I’m holding onto a sliver of hope... I'm looking forward to hitting the theater for this one, mainly because some of the scenes and locations shown in these trailers look like they were lifted straight from the video game. :cheers: It's great to see the Licker back in action, along with those zombie dogs and a few other monsters. I'm crossing my fingers that they throw a Grave Digger at us as a surprise, plus maybe a few more creatures too. 😁

Oh, come on... I couldn't disagree more. I just watched this for the first time, and it’s not that they lack chemistry—it’s practically sparking everywhere. Every time they’re in the same frame together, I just melt. They are so incredibly sweet and irresistible, you could just eat them up. 😍
As far as the movie goes, I found it absolutely lovely and genuinely cozy. I went in with zero expectations and was completely caught off guard. There’s just something special about it, and I enjoyed every second. Generally speaking, I can't stand romance and tend to steer clear of those overly sentimental, pathetic tear-jerkers, but I don't think this falls into that cliché category, and I'm glad I gave it a shot. Interestingly enough, their dynamic was actually my favorite part. The lead actors' charisma definitely carried the whole thing. Saoirse is stunning here and absolutely brilliant in her role—a true rising star in American cinema! 👍 Everything is beautiful and deeply moving. The soundtrack was fantastic, too. Great costume design and production value. And that guy of hers, that Talijan... I can't even describe how precious he is. He’s just so tender, calm, kind, and sweet. And that smile? The way he talks to her? God, bless him...😍 The ending ties the story together perfectly. They could have squeezed in maybe one more minute of them together, but even as it stands, it was wonderful.
