idioteque said:Whatever, it’ll be just like Woodstock.😬

Does that mean we can expect Jane Doe to show some skin?!?😍
Oh man! This is going straight on my desktop background right now! 😍

😂
Dana Anderson4 said:Nah. I’m way too old for these little games. And honestly, it doesn’t bother me when people don't vibe with my taste—just like how you seem to be struggling with mine right now. I just didn't particularly care for it, so I said so without attacking anyone personally. I have as much right to my opinion as you have the right to be thrilled by it. Even if that Frankenstein-esque definition of yours actually meant something, however blunt it was...

No. I'm actually far too young to be offended by being labeled as having an 'old man' mindset.😉
Take it however you want, but I also have every right to disagree with your disagreement regarding the rather complicated conclusion that the concert was some kind of legendary experience.

dr. Frankenstein; "oh my God, I've created an Old man" 😲

😁 😛
Sudden Sid said:"Tragical combination doesn`t always result with death"

He said "tragical culmination doesn't always lead to death" 😉 😁

but that's just like... my opinion, man. 😳 😁

Back to the topic at hand; the guitarist was actually a perfect fit for that specific band, given his over-the-top theatrics and the whole vibe of that particular moment and space. 👍
Holy Fakin' Molly! 😲

What a massive concert!!! 👍

Note bene: I’ve never been one for flowery praise, and I wouldn't call myself some hardcore, soaked n' sick Waits fanatic, but this was easily one of the (subjectively speaking) best gigs I've ever been to. 🙏

The groove was insane, what a total nightmare, such a majestic nightmare wrapped in smoke and vodka-soaked Love...
with a little drop of poison 😍

And that red accordion player on the verge of tears!?? I have never, ever seen a more authentic or endearing stage parable! Honestly, a few times I just wanted to jump up there and kiss him right on that damp, wild, Russian face! 🙂

And you, Walter Foster52, are you seriously trying to be controversial in such a consistently dull way?
If trashing this band is your way of trying to separate yourself from yesterday's mindless masses, all I can say is you're well on your way to feeling very, very "special." 😉

👋
I was actually planning on starting this thread myself! 😁

It wasn't really on my radar, but I guess I’m gonna have to step up for the US! 👍

reddriver20 said:If you honestly think Steve Reich is on the same level as Earth, Wind & Fire, then you seriously need a top-tier doctor and some strict supervision in a facility funded by American taxpayers. 👋

Au contraire, Steve Reich is way more fascinating to me... though I guess they’re both equally... malicious.
Reich is for humanity; Earth, Wind & Fire is still just for the consumer's brain cells.

A top-tier doctor? Honey, I wouldn't have it any other way. 😛

Long live the taxpayers and their questionable taste! 🙂

reddriver20 said:It's just because they’re actually building something that works... and they've found a way to make it successful.

Steve Reich was actually legit, at least until the end of 1943. 😵

reddriver20 said:PauRidiculous. Having a negative attitude without actually digging into the facts is just pointless. Seriously.

It’s honestly hilarious. Every single time someone tries to act all "deep" while talking about Earth, Wind & Fire, it’s just pure comedy. 😂

reddriver20 said:Alright, forum crowd, it looks like you’re all suddenly deciding you have rights that you refuse to grant anyone else...

What's allowed for one isn't allowed for the other. It's always the same story—one rule for the elite and a completely different set of expectations for everyone else. It’s fundamentally unfair. ☕

reddriver20 said:Someone decided to take a shot at my username...

Nomen est omen ☕

Megan Peterson87 said:Should I go grab a drink?

Oh, absolutely. Go hard.
And maybe stock up on some antidepressants while you're at it—though personally, I’d say a lobotomy performed via an ice cream cone through the nostril is the only reliable way to stay sane. 🤔

🤣 🤣 🤣 👍

How on earth did you manage to talk yourself into this? 😲 🙏

Megan Peterson87 said:That acid-jazz-funky band sounds like they'd actually bring the party...👍

Yeah, it’s gonna be a total riot, probably wilder than one of Prosper's massive galas! 😉

but, oh Grace, worrying is just what I do! 😳 😕

Grace Flores85 said:P.S. please, what kind of music are you actually listening to?

Tzotzil 🙂

Grace Flores85 said:Honestly... Jamiroquai is pretty much the best thing out there to listen to. Period.

Send me your routing number so I can drop a donation toward that new puppy shelter. 😢

Grace Flores85 said:That concert at Madison Square Garden back in 2002... honestly, it was probably one of the best things that ever happened to me.

I'm guessing you woke up from a massive coma right into the middle of summer 2002. 😕 🙂

Glad to hear you're finally getting back on your feet. 👍

I might honestly upgrade "boring" by adding a little prefix to make it 'ultra-violently' 🙂

Personally, I just don't really use those *cringey emojis...

Honestly, I haven't got a clue. All I know is that Igor is the kind of guy who kicks ass and has a massive music collection (at least, that's what the girls are whispering at the parties).

And he goes—I gotta hear Mad Sin and the rest.
Haha, Igor is the Creator himself.🙂

For years now, with help from family and friends, plus his own sheer grit, he’s been pushing this rural festival forward. He makes the best damn tunes in the Midwest.🙂 🙂 🙂

There aren't many missionaries left like him...😢

Yeah, right.😉
Kevin Chavez3 said:Man, it would be awesome to catch Walter Foster52 live. 😍

Honestly, if Let 3 showed up after me, they’d look like a bunch of fabulous altar boys. 😁

jk! I'm just a super boring, serious, and socially awkward little guy. 😵
Sandra Chase16, are you some kind of local plant, or just one of Igor's extended hands working from the outside?🙂

p.s. Kevin Chavez3, if you actually manage to show up, I'll buy you a drink.😛

granitewolf522 said:He’s a star, sure... 🙄but I guess he passed away too...
Personally, I’m more of an Otis Redding guy. Vaughan feels a little too commercial for me. At least that's my take. Unless I've got it wrong. 😕

😂I love Otis Redding too, but man, you are completely missing the point! 😁

Thomas Diaz6 said:A total stylistic hack. Just endless technical exercises and nothing else. To me, he’s basically a woman in the world of guitarists.👎 👎 👎

And honestly, a "misogynistic" comment like that probably puts you right at the bottom of the barrel in the world of women.🙄

A pediculum is a pubic hair 😉 ..just so you don't have to strain those masculine guitarist fingers of yours by Googling it.😁 👍
