Honestly, I have no idea what I was thinking going there yesterday, but since I was already out, I figured I'd swing by Walmart and grab a 5lb bag of potatoes. I'm getting lunch ready today, so I grabbed two from the top of the bag and rinsed them under the tap, but the second I touched them, something felt off. I gave them a light wash, but then suddenly...
Does this absolute dud of a movie even deserve its own discussion thread? I honestly can't wrap my head around why they're still paying Wahlberg to act like an idiot in these things. It’s clearly just a massive payday for him...
We’ve all got a Trump and a Hillary living right here in our own apartment buildings.
Hillary is that nosy neighbor on the ground floor who’s always peeking through the blinds. She knows exactly who comes and goes from the lobby. If she spots anyone even slightly out of place, she’s already writing down their license plate. If she hears a single suspicious noise in the hallway, she’s calling the cops immediately. When you walk past her, she just mutters under her breath and glares you down. She’s got a whole squad of clones from the surrounding streets. They know every nook and cranny of the neighborhood. They don't like anyone except the local priest, who stops by for coffee every weekend so they can complain about how crazy the world has become because some neighbor was shaking out a rug at noon yesterday. Most of us spent our summers getting chased away from the entrance with a broom by this busybody, or getting sprayed with water whenever we tried to kick a soccer ball around the park behind the building.
Then there’s Trump, the loudmouthed guy in the penthouse. He keeps Peter Thompson4 up all night screaming his head off. He says whatever pops into his head, no matter how racist or chauvinistic it is, and he insists everything happens his way. He’s basically declared himself the spokesperson for the entire building. He even renovated his bathroom and balcony using the HOA funds, and there isn't a damn thing anyone can do about it. He’s got a Pitbull named Tiny that terrorizes the local cats and bites the super's ass, but of course, he just laughs it off and claims the dog is just playing. Everyone’s just used to his outbursts by now; he’s a total caricature of a neighbor. The guy regularly tells that nosy lady on the ground floor where to shove it and spits out her window just to spite her. In his mind, he’s the hero of the common man.
The term Father was coined a long time ago on an old Premier League thread when I was trying to explain that Mourinho isn't just a coach to his players—he's a Father and a friend.
I have the evidence, obviously. ☕
Look, I’m telling you this started right here on this forum, but you’re out here saying "no" and then claiming it actually kicked off over in the MLS thread. 😵 🙄
Look, you guys seriously need to wrap your heads around this: that feature isn't coming back. It eats up way too many resources. Every time I try to post something similar, my threads either get nuked or just buried under a mountain of trolls, even when I'm telling the truth. Management is all about maximizing the ROI. If the servers aren't bogged down by those extra features, they can just pack in more ads and make a killing.
This post is probably going to vanish in a heartbeat, or I'll just catch another ban and we can start the whole cycle over again, right, Joe?
Oh, please. It’s not going to show up. They’re just trolling at this point. They know full well that option isn't coming back, yet they still act all high and mighty, handing out those "likes" like they own the place the second anyone calls them out on their nonsense.
I actually got banned for trolling just because I called them out, saying that feature isn't coming back and they're basically just selling us hot air. All I can say about that is: hi hi.
What really gets me is how arrogant the mods act when you ask them anything. They literally just ignore the members and go straight to handing out bans.
If you really want to read posts from other people or dig through your own old threads, here’s a pro tip: just head over to some random topic, trash talk someone, and grab yourself a quick few-day ban. It works like a charm. I was banned for three days, and honestly, everything worked perfectly—I could read my old stuff and everyone else's posts without any issues at all. But the second my ban expired, Tapatalk completely crapped out on me, and now I can't see a single thing when I try using my desktop either. 🤣
It seriously took me ten whole minutes just to drop a single comment on the football thread 🙏. I swear, the site went offline three different times while I was trying to type. I barely managed to get this thing to actually post 🙏 🤦
Not really. The owner just doesn't see a good return on investment there, so he disabled the feature—it was likely eating up way too much server bandwidth and driving up costs. He’s not planning on bringing it back either. Honestly, from what I can tell, nobody even cares. Traffic is tanking and activity on the forum has been dying out for a while now.
Chris Robinson25 said:Is it just me, or does everyone go full private investigator mode when they're trying to use that search history feature? 😁
So, how do I keep track of all my threads? If I go on a posting spree yesterday and drop comments in 20 different discussions, then come back today wanting to see if anyone replied, how am I supposed to remember every single topic?
Why on earth would I want to clutter my browser with hundreds of bookmarked topics? It’s a recipe for digital chaos. Honestly, it just turns your bookmarks bar into a graveyard of things you'll probably never look at again. It's way better to stay organized and actually find what you need when you need it. 😵
